No delivery on Friday (which had paid loads more as an emergency delivery) and no contact until the Monday which was then rescheduled for 5 days later! Cancelled immediately. Will never use again

I have been using Midlands Rix for two years now. They are highly responsive to "OMG! I just ran out of oil!" type calls and when I have called them on a Saturday they respond and do what they say they will .. so when Monday rolls around so does the emergency delivery! Their office is friendly and organised and deliveries from the magnificent Martin are always on time.

Ordered heating oil from these guys and spent 1000 pounds on oil. They claimed they could not find the order. Asked for a refund - no call back. They have absolutkey no clue. Do not order from these people.

We have been loyal customers of Oakley now Rix for a number of years. We had to order oil due to an emergency in the run up to Christmas. They said they had no capacity and couldn’t deliver. I had to ring round and Boiler Juice could supply us. Next day a tanker from Rix came with oil. I am assuming that Rix get paid more to get jobs via Boiler Juice and would rather this than supply loyal customers. We feel let down by them.

I recently used rix heating services department for an emergency call out with my oil boiler broke down. I have used them in the past now for boiler servicing and repairs for nearly 20 years and I’ve always found them very professional and efficient.
They always carry the spares they need on the van I’ve never once had them say they will have to come back tomorrow with a different part.

Waited for a whole month without heating or hot water for repair/service. Very nice guy came and fixed this - kudos!
However, the paperwork created by Rix - leaves me speechless 😶! A4 page of their terms and conditions are quiet literally printed so small you can’t read?
I was dumbfounded by the fact you can’t see who to make a bank payment too?
No worries - the woman assistant calls me less than 24 hours after the jobs done. Can I make payment she asks? I explain it’s not even been 24 hours and I waited a whole month for their engineer?
Received No invoice. No politeness talking as if I was a “bad debtor”. Whole call was just not needed. Abrupt and not good customer service Rix!
Wish they would put the love back into their “family business”.
On all occasions when needing assistance getting an engineer/ service the assistants was abrupt and quiet frankly rude. On both occasions.
Use Rix if you have to, but please do not expect polite customer service! You won’t receive it 😢

As we all know oil is at an all time low with a huge glut of oil on the world market. Petrol prices have tumbled but companies like Rix Oil are keeping the price of their heating oil sky high despite them being able to buy at record low prices. I do wonder if like so many companies they are taking advantage of the mass hysteria over the corona virus and is Rix seeing an opportunity in being able to make a very substantial profit bonanza?
It is very hard to conclude otherwise when I can go online and buy my oil for up to 10p per litre less than their price and that price is still way over what the price we should be paying in today's market. We have all heard the excuses about the cost of refining etc etc and we all know this is used to keep the price artificially high to ensure profits are maximised but wouldn't it be nice if at times like these companies like Rix actually did the right thing and adjust their oil prices in line with the current oil market.

We were running extremely low on heating oil and almost out, when I contacted Rix Petroleum at Spalding Lincs on Saturday for a delivery, the Lady I spoke with suggested they may be able to deliver
by Tuesday, and at a competitive price I therefore placed an order.
On Monday at around 4pm their driver Albert arrived with our delivery
What more can I say.
Rix Petroleum excellent customer service & a team to be proud of what more can a customer expect.

We look forward to dealing with this company again in the future & will more than recommend on every occasion
