As a lifetime live quarry shooter and pretty much self taught I am a sack full of bad habits. I shot ISU fairly seriously in the seventies but I avoided trap like the plague.
I introduced myself to DTL about 10 years ago, I quickly found out that shooting the gun up disciplines was anything but a walk in the park and I struggled. At that time I considered getting some instruction, Bisley probably or similar and I would have been coached probably by an all rounder, good but not really what I thought I needed.
When Rob approached me to offer a "one on one" session with him, now that was a chance that I was not going to miss. A dedicated DTL Shooting appraisal by a top flight shooter, yes please.
The experience was everything that I thought it would be, Rob was patient, thorough and extremely informative, success at DTL is exacting, frustratingly almost entirely dependant on a tight approach and mental routine, I really need to polish mine. Hopefully I can remember enough of his advice and tweaks to improve my future scores.
I would urge any struggling DTL shooters or shooters who just need that extra edge to take advantage of Robs tuition as dedicated DTL instructors are very few.

As a fairly green shooter to the trap scene, I felt it was time to check my gun set up and fit. After chatting with Rob we spent a few hours adjusting the stock and the fit felt very comfortable. But more importantly the kills have been consistent and high scores have followed. Rob shows a high level of knowledge and patience to get the best from the session. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve there shooting and develop there technique.
It's never to late to learn and better yourself and equipment. Rob is the perfect addition to any shooters armoury.
