Received quicker than expected. Good price. Great service.

Excellent after sales service.
There’s an old saying, something like; If it sounds too good to be true, that’s because it usually isn’t true. Searching for best price on hard drives we found Robert Computer Hardware, by a long way they were best price for the four drives required. Despite good reviews online it still felt like we were taking a risk ordering from ‘Robert’s’ but we took the chance. Our order came in two shipments. The first two drives, high spec Seagate drives in original manufacturer sealed packaging arrived quickly. To look at through the opaque antistatic wrapping, seemed fine, but on opening, one drive was found to be damaged and could not be connected to a SATA port, the second drive proved to be DOA. What are the chances of two out two drives being defective? First thought our initial misgivings about the company were correct. BUT…. The real test of a supplier is in the after sales service if you need it. We contacted Roberts with photos of the damaged drive and a copy of the report on the DOA drive from CrystalDisk. We accepted that Robert’s could not be aware of the state of the drives but anticipated a long protracted battle to resolve the issue or receive no help from Roberts at all. We were wrong. Never received such truly rapid and helpful after sales service with any other supplier before. Roberts absolutely bent over backwards to help and arrange replacements. Considering the replacements came from Singapore and over a UK bank holiday we didn’t wait long for working replacements. The other two drives on the original order arrived in the mean time and were absolutely fine, all had been well packed.
In all, our experience with the Robert’s has been excellent. Our first port of call for supply in future, wish we had found them earlier.

They have the best prices and deliver on their promises

Good. Purchased two 16tb exos. Arrived in maybe 10 days or something, all working with 0 hours on crystal disk. Can’t register for seagate warranty but that was to be expected.

Hard drives arrived as advertised, never used, and well packed in foam. About 8 days from the order date, shorter (i.e. better) than promised. Great price.

Easy tracking - delivery was quick, only 6 days from Singapore.
Price was the best I could find by some margin.
The drives do not qualify for warranty support from Seagate but judging by the other comments they seem to have great customer service.
No issues noted with the drive when adding to my Synology NAS.

I’ve bought quite a few NAS drives over the past few months from Robert Computers.
Sadly one failed a few weeks ago( it happens) so I asked about a replacement under warranty.
No problems, a new drive turned up without any fanfare all sealed like the rest.
You wonder about warranties especially considering the amazing prices but any worries are completely unfounded and easily the best customer service I’ve had. For UK customers think John Lewis but better.
Just off to buy another expansion unit so I’ll be adding more drives to my collection, again from Robert Computer Hardware.

Ordered 2 16TB exos drives from robertelectronics, paid a really good price for these drives. Postage took 6 days. Overall a 5* experience, will definitely be using them for future HDD purchases!

This is a great company I won't shop anywhere else for drives I ordered 2 x 16tb iron wolfs and 2x14 tb iron wolfs one had to be rma'd as wasn't working put process was quick and easy to replace. Keep up the good work folks at robert electronics

I was suspicious at first, did my research and couldn't find anything indicating this to be a scam due to the prices being too good.. I ordered 2 Exos x16 16TB at a total of ~300GBP using my Revolut purchase protection, just in case it was a scam.

Turned out I got my 2 drives 2 weeks later and I've run tests on them with SeaTools and they are healthy, 0 hours. They were well packed and survived the transit from Singapore.

Time will tell what happens with the warranty as I tried checking them on Seagate website and told me to reach out to the place I bought them from for warranty.

I was left with a question though.. how can they have those prices?

Exactly as ordered, parcelled up correctly and delivered timely.

Previously ordered two drives over xmas and received within 9 days even with xmas 2 day extension. Ordered three more and arrived within 7 days, as new, with zero drive-on hours. Look forward to a MTBF of 285 YEARS!
Was able to register all five drives on Seagate site.

Ordered on the 26th Feb, had noted stock was coming from China, as no stock in UK. Received tracking info the following day (Royal Mail), this basically said sender has despatched item. This didn't update any more until the 4th of March and item was delivered on the 5th. In a box with very think foam padding all around, sealed in a bag. Drive is new - no marks and shows as zero hours using Seagate tools. So if you was looking at the site thinking it looked fake or the prices are too cheap so much be a con. (I did wonder myself). I'm very pleased with my purchase and will be buying from them again.

Good prices, good gear and delivered safely, what more can a customer want. I've ordered three times now and haven't been disappointed

I give three stars because the hard drive was under warranty as it was listed and it was also well packaged and delivered surprisingly quick. Just think it would have made more sense to check it actually worked in the first place. I got it for a good price as well which is another positive.

Time will tell if Seagate can actually help me with the hard drive as I'm still waiting to hear word back from them after sending it back to them.
