I am buying a flat locally and the seller's solicitor is Rohan. There is no chain in our transaction. However, the whole process is taking over 2 months. Everything has been done on my end and all the outstanding points have always been down to the Rohan solicitor. The solicitor always says it's the managing agent that is being slow. However, the management agents both got to respond fairly soon after I chased. So it turns out in the past few months that Rohan solicitor could have chased more but she didn't and always used the excuse that it's the managing agent being slow. It's unbelievable that a transaction without any chain started in October and still hasn't completed. I would avoid her if next time I look for a solicitor or my seller/buyer's solicitor is her. That's definitely a signal of slow progress, no proactivity, less sensible approach to work and less efficiency.

My business has used Rohan Solicitors, specifically Martyn G, on a number of those unfortunate occasions when we have had to pursue clients over unpaid fees.

I know from experience how demoralising, energy-sapping and frustrating it can be to engage in this process, but Martyn's calm professionalism and expertise always make the situation a little less painful.

Even better, he has a 100% record of success in enabling us to reclaim most or all of the sums owed. It's easy for any dispute to become ugly and protracted, but Martyn's advice has brought each action to a swift conclusion with the minimum of fuss.

He's an expert at distilling our thoughts and emotions into a clear course of action, and the results speak for themselves. We value Martyn's services highly and cannot recommend him and his team enough.

Really friendly and approachable staff and can always get through to someone on the phone who will help. The solicitor used in the house move was extremely efficient and never needed to be chased by myself. On every occasion I emailed him I was sure to get a response the same day. I don't have a bad word to say about these solicitors who were recommended to me.
