Romanos Chersonissos is een goede verhuurder.
Toch maar besloten om een auto te huren op Kreta. Romanos zat aan de overkant. Vriendelijke mensen en goede prijs voor de autohuur. Wij hadden een auto nodig die ons van A naar B kan brengen. En die hebben we gekregen. Snel geregeld en inleveren was ook zo gebeurd. Nog even van te voren doorgegeven dat we pas laat terug waren op de laatste huurdag. Geen probleem!
En uiteraard ook tips gekregen van de vriendelijke man!

Last year we bought a car from Romanos Group. It was a very good experience, we had a competent and very friendly service, all was prepared, all in time with a very fair price. Then Stelios helped us a lot to transfer a Vespa from Switzerland to Greece - what an adventure!

Me and my partner rented a car for 10 days, the price was good enough but not the cheapest, but then again understandable for a reputable company like this. No credit card required and the chaps that run the place were more than accommodating. When we return next year we will be looking to book from here again, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to rent a car. I did NOT encounter anything dodgy about the prices, what we agreed on is what we paid. They provide full insurance so you are covered, with a small excess. Like with all companies, make sure to read the contracts fully, with things like cover, areas you can/cant drive etc.
Overall, you get what you pay for, good cars and good service.

Rented a car for two days. The day before we collected we agreed €150 for the two days. Paperwork signed for that total price and we paid €50 cash deposit. When my husband collected car they said we now had to pay an additional €35 in taxes. Their website states that there are no hidden charges and the vat is included in the price!! The card machine wasn’t working luckily and they said we could pay at drop off. The car was ancient with 225k on the clock but it drove fine. At drop off I pointed out the agreed price and after a while of not getting anywhere I took my money and the keys and said I would seek legal advice through the hotel. Immediately she agrees to take the €100 final payment. I had checked the reviews for this place and most were good so I’m so upset this happened. It gave me a sleepless night - not what you want on your holiday but happy we paid what was quoted in the end. I would be very careful using this company and if you do, get a video of them agreeing the price Inc all other charges.

Das Auto war tadellos, die Beratung nicht zu lange, trotzdem informativ. Allein der Preis wich etwas stark von denen in der Stadt ab, dort war uns aber der Versicherungsschutz suspekt.

We hired a car and agreed at the time that instead of returning it before 10pm that evening we could return it before 9am the following morning. When we arrived they tried to charge us an extra and said they had tracked our location and because we were using the car after 10pm we wouldn’t have been insured and would have been in big trouble if anything had happened. This was apparently stated in the contract. They had our contact details so if this was the case why didn’t someone contact us at the time. I believe it’s done just to make more money out of tourists. Definitely don’t recommend this company and will not be using them when we hire our next vehicle.

Dimitri and his dad are very acommodating.. they gave me a price compare to other car rentals that i have asked, and its just 5 minutes walk from our hotel at Mitsis.. happy to recommend Romanos rent a car 100%.... Cris

We wanted to rent a 9-person car. First we are offered a rental for 60€, then 90€ including the insurance, which we were willing to pay of course. All good and one of us are picked up on the day we need the car to sign the contract and pick up the car. At their office the price is DOUBLED, we now have to pay 190€ for the car including insurance. To be honest, the price does not matter for us. But the fact that we are fooled into coming into their office and forced to pay double the amount of what was agreed on. This behavior is unforgivable. Awful service - cannot recommend this car rental service.
By the way, we were promised a ride home after we returned the car by the end of the day. Foolish as we are to believe they would offer this kind of service, we returned the car and waited for the ride home. No one was there to drive us back to our hotel and we ended up walking..
