I needed tiles for my park home roof…
I needed tiles for my park home roof which weren't easy to find so I was very pleased to be able to purchase them from Roofin Online. They were delivered quickly and safely but I think the delivery charge of £36 for 6 tiles, was extortionate. I had a tarpaulin delivered on the same day from a different company which weighed more than the roofing tiles and postage was only £4.99.
There is no justification for charging this amount of money.

I'm sorry you feel the delivery cost was high, unfortunately this delivery cost is set by our supplier and reflects the weight and size of these roofing tiles.
We do give all delivery cost up front before the order is placed, giving our customer's the opportunity to source materials locally if they don't wish to pay delivery costs. However, we always offer our lowest prices upfront, so even with delivery factored in, we are the cheapest place in the UK to buy Metrotile products from.

Restored my faith in online buying!
This is an unknown supplier and I was sceptical at first. The direct delivery took a bit longer, but Lorraine in customer services was an absolute star and did exactly what she said she would. I'm very impressed with the price I paid but also that there was instantly a helpful person there to help when I needed to speak to someone.

I was told by the lady at Roofin I would be notified before my delivery was due, however I wasn't and I wouldn't have chosen to leave the tiles on the street, but fortunately I'd just returned and was able to get things put in my garage. But as usual the lady at the help desk at Roofin was helpful with my order.

Made my purchase on the 5/4/23
Made my purchase on the 5/4/23. It wasn’t until after my order went through I was told it wouldn’t arrive until the 14/4/23. After taking the day off work to wait in all day, I contacted them at 1630 to check the order was going to be delivered. They told me that there had been a delay and it wasn’t going to arrive until 18/4/23, with no explanation as to why I wasn’t contacted! I asked if the delivery could be made the day before as I am leaving the country on the 18/4/23, and I said I would wait on the live chat to find out the answer so I can sort this out. Then got cut off from live chat, and haven’t been able to get through ever since. Nobody answering the phone today either!
Guess I will just have to wait and see if my lead turns up before I leave the country, or I have to get my money back once I’m abroad!( which I’m not looking forward to doing as I suspect it won’t be easy with how their customer service’s are!!)
Will re-review after 18/4/23!🤞
Review update17/4/23:
So, I contacted roofin first thing this morning, and Vanessa ( who I dealt with on Friday), instantly remembered me, and informed me that she had already spoken to the relevant people regarding my delivery and she assured me it would be her before 2pm.
Delivery is now on the driveway, and all looks good.
Big thank you to Vanessa for getting this delivered today. Has saved me a headache of trying to source more product before I leave tomorrow.
As a company though, a bit more thought needs to go into keeping the customer up to date regarding deliveries and dates. We all know problems happen in life, it’s not a perfect world, but it would be good to be kept in the loop regarding products we have paid for and when we will get them!

It was easter weekend shortly after you ordered and unfortunatley bank holidays don't count as working days.
As soon as you contacted us at 16:17 on Friday afternoon, my colleuegue got straight on the case with our supplier, as they had told us that your delivery would be made on 14/04, which is why we passed this date on to you.
I've checked the live chat history and it says you left/ended the chat at 16:38.
Our office is open Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 16:45, so if you tried to call on Saturday then nobody was here to answer your call because we were closed.
Once again my colleuegue has been on the case first this morning with our supplier, who have confirmed that your order is in fact out for delivery today, as promised. She came in early to do this for you.
I'm sorry that you feel this represents bad customer service, but I can see that we tried our best to get this resolved quickly for you, considering how late in the day we were contacted.

CUSTOMER SERVICE APPAULING
Ordered some guttering. Ordered the wrong size. Emailed the email address for returns to be ignored. I then telephoned, got told I would get a call back, nothing happened. Telephoned again to be told it was fine to send back as within the 14 days. So I posted back. I then get the parcel sent back to me with a note: -
Returned not covered by our cancellation policy and return for business. (Not pre-approved or returned within 7 days)
Returned to incorrect address, we weren't notified of the return so were not able to provide the correct address.
Please do not attempt to return again.
Maybe they should train there staff on their returns policy. AVOID, AVOID AVOID

Hi Brix Limited, Cranleigh, I'd like to respond to the factual innacuracies in your review.
You got in touch to let us know you wanted to return your order as you ordered the wrong size item, we then sent you a link to our returns policy because as a business, you do not have the same automatic right to cancel and return within 14 days as a consumer does. Return requests from businesses are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and if accepted the goods must be returned within 7 days and a 30% restocking fee applies.
As highlighted in our returns policy, requests must be made to our email address, if accepted, we'll then provide the return address. Unfortunatley, we never had a response from you, until your parcel arrived a few weeks later, to our office, and not the distributor address we would have specified given the opportunity. As we do with all customers who follow our returns proceedure. The decision on rejecting your parcel was made by myself, because it was returned outside of our terms & conditions, and as a small business we have to draw a line somewhere.
I don't feel it's fair for you to leave a false and inaccurate review on our page, just because you decided to wing it and didn't get the desired outcome. As a business yourself I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate me doing the same on your Google Review page.
