I love everything about this yoga mat. The quality is excellent - it provides good grip and cushioning combined with a stylish and calming design. I chose the Ganges and love the subtle colours which motivate me to slow down and relax whenever I role it out. The fact that it is made with sustainable materials is so important and an added bonus!

I really don't think yoga mats can be much better than the one I got from Root & River! Extremely high quality! Thank you!

My Root and River yoga mat has changed my daily practise.
It excellent quality, cushioning yet very supportive and stable.
The Blue Danube coloir is restful and pleasing, a beautibul aesthetic!

Oh my goodness, didn't know I could love a yoga mat this much! Feels so great to use, firm grip, no slip, beautifully comfy & wonderfully padded to be & lie on too. Been using & trying yoga mats (in studios & at events etc too, not one to buy new things often) for years (over 15) & never found such a satisfying mat. Highly recommend!

I first tried a Root & River mat when attending a yoga class in the World of Wellness area at WOMAD this year, where they were being lent out to participants by the hosts. The mat was so very comfortable (especially after wandering around a busy festival all morning) and also beautifully illustrated - love the logo and the soft, matt colours! To be honest I was a little sad to return it at the end of practice, but was then incredibly grateful to be gifted one to take home with me when I came to teach my own yoga workshop on the last day of the festival.

Favourite things about this mat are the texture (gently cushioned and smooth but grippy), the design (beautiful embossed nature-inspired logo), the size (a little larger than standard, allowing you to flow more easily and to have your hands and feet resting comfortably on the mat when you land in savasana), and last but not least, that it is eco-friendly, made from sustainable materials, and feels like it is made to last.

Absolutely love this mat, and plan to practice on it for years to come!

I’m the least Yoga-ish man in the universe but this mat has converted me! It’s soft yet durable and comfortable and gives great support while I am using it. The blue we have is a beautiful colour and I feel so much better for having used it daily and I look forward to rolling it out and getting my downward dog fired up. I can’t recommend it highly enough - from someone who never thought he’d use a mat, I am now an advocate of this brilliant brand.

I love this yoga mat! It's soft and cushioned, which has been particularly helpful to me when doing kneeling poses. It's sturdy and non slip making me feel secure when doing standing poses. I also love the blue Danube colour.

I love the subtle colour of this mat. It's calming, rather than loud. And I love it's thickness and stickiness. Just a joy to practice on!

Stunning high quality mat . I can personally recommend the Amazon River matt, which is a beautiful colour and really durable and thick . The design is the most beautiful, unique feature of these mats and really helps with my balance and alignment when practicing certain poses . Lovely customer service team as well

The design on the mat is beautiful and it has a great amount of grip, giving me confidence through both static postures and more dynamic movement, while the cushioning provides plenty of comfort and support without feeling too soft underfoot.
