You are crooks you sold me gold coins 3 times there value, I sold them for £6800 less than what you may'd me pay, you should be in prison , filthy boiler room operators

Der Kundenservice reagierte weder auf meine E-Mails noch auf meine Anfragen über das Kontaktformular. Dieser verursachte mir über vier Wochen lang unnötige hin unf her, bis die Bestellung schließlich storniert wurde.

Um unnötigen Ärger zu vermeiden, rate ich dringend von einer Bestellung bei diesem Anbieter ab.

Ich habe bisher keine gute Erfahrung gemacht.
Wenn man etwas so teures bestellt und kauft, erwartet man Transparenz und schnellen Versand. Nach über zwei Wochen weder die Ware erhalten noch erhält man irgendeine Auskunft vom Verkäufer! Bisher sehr dubios!

I first purchased some gold coins from Rosland in 2019 because I thought it would be a good investment as they advertise. After this they kept ringing me up to buy more saying they had some good coins so, I bought some more. I bought in total £15800 worth of coins.
They told me to keep them for about 3 to 5 years to get the best value for my money.
On one occasion when I was talking to them my wife came in the room and told me not to buy any more and the man from Rosland said does your wife want to buy some coins, luckily my wife had more sense and said NO I am leaving my money in the bank.
I tried to sell them first in 2023 and was told to wait a further 6 months, which I did,I rang again and again was told wait another 6 months. Then another person told me to wait another 8 months and you will make money on your coins, this person was quite aggressive and told me that I had 3 options, they could send the coins back to me for me to try and sell, they offered me just over £9000 (this was called fire sale?) and lastly just wait another 8 months. So I waited another 8 months.
I rang on the 15th January 2025 and was told to wait another 12 months. All of this time gold prices and gold coins were going up in value. I told them that I had had enough of waiting and asked them to sell the coins now and I knew I would make a loss.
I got a figure of £10,018 which they did pay into my bank straight away, but I lost over £5,000 altogether when I should have made a profit. The definition of an investment is to make a profit.
I could have got more if I had left my money in the bank.
No one invests in gold coins to make a loss.
All of the reviews that have 5 stars are from people who have recently bought their gold coins, yes the staff are very helpful and nice when they are selling you the coins, but wait until you want to sell them you will have a shock when you find out how much money you have lost.

In November 2019 I had some money to invest because of a redundancy payment. At the time interest rates were low and after reading an article in the Sunday Times I decided to invest in gold. I contacted a very well-established gold company in London and was advised that I should purchase gold coins as opposed to gold bullion. I checked their reviews out online and they had extremely happy customers. I was advised that there was greater profit to be had from coins as most were limited editions and collectors’ items. At the time interest rates were not great so I decided to purchase £20,000 worth of gold coins. At the time of purchase gold was worth around 1.4 and I was assured by the advisor at this company that within the next 3 years it could double to 3.0. I paid my £20,000 and the company said they would store the coins for me. The literature I was provided with suggested I keep the coins for a minimum of 3 to 5 years. Every Sunday I checked gold prices in the Times financial section, and I was pleased to see that slowly over the years the gold did increase in value and today it is at around 2.74. Not exactly the 3.0 I was told back in 2019, but nevertheless a good increase and close to double the 1.4 in November 2019.
Roll on to November 2024 and my minimum 5 years was up and I thought it would be a good time to sell, as prices of gold are still on a steady increase. When I contacted the company they suggested that I should keep the coins longer and perhaps even consider purchasing more! They tried their best to make me hold on to them. At the time of purchasing I knew that in 5 years time I could use the money to help part fund my retirement and I was ready now to have some extra cash to help with the everyday bills.
The advisor I spoke to said that due to the current change in UK government and the elections in the US that they weren’t in a position to find purchasers for my coins. They did suggest that if I was in a real need of some cash they would put a sale through as a ‘fire sale’! I’m not familiar with these terms but when I was told they would give me around £12,500 for my gold, I guess that ‘fire sale’ means I would basically be burning away £7,500 of my hard-earned redundancy fund!
I was very angry at this stage as I assumed with gold prices nearly doubling that I would be in profit and not working as a massive loss!
I asked for my gold coins to be returned to me and I sent a list of my coins to Royal Mint to see what they would offer me for the coins – it was around the same as the ‘fire sale’ offer!
When I then researched more into these coins, I discovered that most were sold to me at a much higher value that what they were actually worth. As a complete novice back in 2019 I never thought of checking the value of each individual coin that I was being sold. I assumed that this reputable company would be providing these at their current value price.
Some of the coins are now worth slightly more that their 2019 value but most are roughly the same and a few well below current value price. Let me give one example. I was sold a PCGS grade British Gold Sovereign Victoria Coin (1837-1901) in 2019 and was charged £2000 for it. The very same coin can be purchased from the same company for just £963.
The message I want to get through to your readers is not to purchase any gold coins from these companies. Certainly, purchase gold bullion but do not purchase gold coins. If you really want coins, purchase from an online auction site, do not trust these companies to provide you with a selection of their coins. Check out the value of any coins you are offered if you still want to buy coins. Don’t believe all the positive reviews that these companies have, they probably get staff to add positive reviews to keep the negative ones well down the reading list! It would be interesting to hear if other readers have had similar experiences.

My uncle who is now 90 years old bought some commemorative coins in 2017. At the time he bought them, he was told that Rosland would buy them back should he ever want to sell them. They have now refused to buy them back and suggested he have the coins sent to him to sell on the open market. Easier said than done! The coins he's bought are simply not worth what he paid for them. Gold prices are currently high and if he sells them for their weight, he'd only get back 30% of what he's paid out. I've been told that because they are not by the Royal Mint, they can't be resold as sovereigns. I feel that my uncle has been taken advantage of by this company and would warn people against them. If you want to invest in gold then I'd suggest buying it by weight rather than these so called commemorative coins as should you ever need to cash them in, you'll struggle.

Was looking into diversifying my investment portfolio and due to the forecasts this year thought gold was the best choice.
