Rothera Bray was tasked with sorting my late Mother’s estate. We were fortunate to have Nelissa as our Solicitor. She was not only professional and compassionate, but always went the extra mile to ensure resolutions at every opportunity. I cannot recommend Nelissa enough and will not hesitate to use her again in the future.

This has been one of the most horrible years of my life, and going through a divorce is not something I would wish on anyone. But if you do have to go through it, it makes a huge difference knowing that you have a supportive lawyer to work with and that was definitely my experience of working with Sarah Gill.

What really stood out for me was how well Sarah listened and heard me. I would often come to her with a babble of worries, and she had an incredible ability to dig into that babble, identify the one issue that was causing me the most stress at that time, and then advise me clearly and take action quickly.

She was also excellent at explaining the key background areas of law I needed to understand as I went into mediation. Because of this, even though mediation itself was another very difficult part of the process, I felt prepared. I was able to put my side forward logically and confidently, informed by the relevant case law.

More than anything, Sarah’s way of working felt like a genuine partnership. I know this might sound cheesy, but it truly felt like she had my back. That support meant I could make informed decisions about my future during an incredibly difficult time.

Our Solicitor Sade was excellent in dealing with our very long and difficult Conveyancy of our Leasehold property sale .Always keeping us up to date and calm and collected when needed .

They dealt with a power of attorney when my aunt went into a care home as well as selling her house and eventually with her will when my aunt passed away I've no complaints with everything went excellent law firm

Throughout the process I dealt with a number of people as the claim was a lengthy process, all of which were both professional and understanding.

Previous Solicitor Messed Up My Case, So I Changed My Solicitors And Got ROTHERA BRAY To Represent Me. They Looked Out For Me And Actually Listened To What I Want Out Of This Case, It Ended In A Positive Outcome For Myself And Especially My Boys. I Can't Thank Them Enough. Definitely Would Recommend Them.

I chose to instruct Eleanor Robinson at Rothera Bray because a friend of mine of 50 years standing had recommended her. She and her colleague Kerry from the Mapperley branch of Rothera Bray dealt with us in an efficient and timely manner and wrapped everything up calmly and without incident. I can't praise them highly enough. The solicitor practice we used in the past have moved on to corporate law, but I feel very reassured that Rothera Bray will be there in the future when I need the services of a solicitors' practice.

Last year we decided to downsize from a three bed semi with a large garden to a two bed apartment with a tiny garden. We had been in our previous house for 35 years; both our daughters grew up there.

Due to illness the garden had become completely overgrown and the house had boxes that “needed sorting” all over ( am am neurodivergent ). The move was a good thing but because of the time we were there it was hard.

We were offered online solicitors by the Estate Agent but I wanted a “bricks and mortar” Nottingham based Solicitor.

From the initial phonecall we were made to feel valued customers. Johanna Goddard was our solicitor with her team. As it is a leasehold property it seemed like everyone wanted a say in the lease which delayed things. I finally asked if we could move on the 12th December. Johanna and her team made it work and we moved on the 12th of December 2024.

Couldn’t have done it without them. I’ve said we are never moving again but I would say : don’t go online for an important thing like buying a house; choose real people that you can go and see, you can’t do much better than Rothera Bray ( ask if you can have Johanna handle your sale )
