Royal basic stand by their word

On the 4th of April I purchased two car seat covers I wanted to make an enquiry about the product before it was processed customer service had a communication breakdown
And by passed my inquiry and shipped the order to my address in
New Zealand when I received it about 3 weeks latter
It wasn't what I expected and wasn't suitable I requested a full refund and return shipping label back to Canada they try to generate retutn shipping label but it didn't go through
Got an email from the
Royal Basic customer manager saying I could keep the sheepskin covers and they will refund me in full within 2 days got confirmation that my refund it's been processed back onto my credit card
Royal Basic are an
Honorable company I would recommend them to friends and family or anyone that would like to purchase from them
Their company stand by their word

I’m extremely disappointed with my outside light …

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of an outdoor light from this company.

The item was advertised to arrive within 3 days, but after a full week of waiting with no updates, I had to chase them myself just to find out where it was. That was the first red flag.

When the light finally arrived, the quality was shockingly poor — nothing like what was shown on the website. It feels cheap, poorly made, and completely misrepresented.

What’s made this even more frustrating is the returns process. I’ve now asked FIVE times for a returns label. Each time, instead of helping, they respond with more questions about the item. I’ve already sent photos, a video, and clearly explained why I’m unhappy — yet I’m still waiting.

This has been a really frustrating experience from start to finish. Poor quality product and even worse customer service. I will never buy from this company again.
Will I ever get the return label and a full refund ?

Coffee Machine - Cafelffe Brand

I bought a coffee machine and was sent the wrong one which was inferior and arrived without the milk frother. The frother was sent later. The company gave me a refund because they did not stock the one I ordered. Because of that, I kept the wrong one. Less than eight months later the machine has stopped working. Product is inferior and should not stop working after eight months. Customer service is good. Products absolute rubbish and I would not recommend buying anything from this company. I would also add that I only changed my last review from 1 star to 3 stars because the company asked me to after refunding me. Do not buy from this company.

At the time of your order, an incorrect item was sent due to a supplier issue. We fully acknowledged this and took complete responsibility. To resolve the situation, we issued a full refund of your order, allowed you to keep the coffee machine at no cost, and also sent the milk frother separately as a complimentary item.

This means the product you are referring to was fully refunded and retained free of charge, and was used for approximately nine months thereafter.

While we always strive to provide high-quality products, it’s important to clarify that warranties and replacements apply to purchased items. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer replacements for items that were already refunded in full as part of a goodwill resolution.

We completely respect your right to share your opinion, and we appreciate you acknowledging that our customer service was good. As a small business, we always aim to go above and beyond to resolve issues fairly — and in this case, we believe we did exactly that.

Quality product for price and genuinely open to customisation!

Product quality for the price was honestly exceptional. Real thick, heavy marble/stone was used for my lights. I thought there was an issue with my delivery as I only got part of it delivered. I raised it as an issue and they immediately got back to me saying it got split into 2 deliveries and gave me the tracking number for the second delivery. THEN I asked for a customisation of a different light to be from 240v AC to a 24v AC light. I thought they would say no, but they said yes with a pretty minimal customisation fee.

The USB hairdryer never charged

The USB hairdryer never charged. Totally worthless. While it was heavy and seemed of good quality, I tried for days and used different outlets to charge the hairdryer, and it never charged. Save your money. Mine went into the trash.

I received an apologetic email on 4/21 saying the company regretted my inconvenience and would make it right. UNFORTUNATELY, the email address they provided was bogus and my email returned to me.

I recently got a juicer

I recently got a juicer from this company. I am happy to have this juicer as It's super cool by It's looks and easy to use, even it doesn’t take that much space in kitchen. Got this delivery within 2 weeks as I think for living in Fin. Overall It's a positive experience.

Best customer service ever!!!

I was sent the wrong teapot and when the folks at Royal Basic found out, they sent me the correct one - - at no charge!!!
And very quickly. I’ve never had or heard of better customer service. I felt truly taken care of.

Awful

Awful - I will never buy from them again. Having ordered lights, I then received a message to say they didn't have any in stock - although the website said they did. It then took 3 weeks of chasing to recieve the order and when I did, the lights didn't work. I'm yet to hear from them about what they are going to do to resolve the situation.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. When the item went temporarily out of stock, we offered you the option of a full refund or a $10 goodwill refund to wait for the next shipment, and you chose to proceed with the order and receive the partial refund.

Your order was dispatched and out for delivery by Feb 26, but unfortunately the carrier (EVRi) experienced delays outside of our control and delivered it on March 6. Throughout this time, we kept you updated on the status.

Regarding the issue with the lights, as mentioned in our emails, once we receive the requested photos or video of the product, we will immediately process the full refund in line with our return policy.

Found this company to be honest and reliable. Had some issues with a return but was resolved satisfactorily. Very good communication and customer service. Would have confidence in dealing with this company again.

I got scammed - don't waste your money here.

Website is clearly a scam for many of their products - paid a large amount for high quality bath mats that are less than dollar store quality...I initially called them Walmart mats but even Walmart has higher quality standards. When requesting a refund, the company asked for a video of the products highlighting the issue - are you kidding? Let me return the product - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM SITE.

UPDATE - The company did reach out and offer a full refund, no questions asked -- though the fact this product was even being sold in the first place is highly questionable, but if was handled appropriately so I am increasing to 3 stars.

For transparency, we have sold over 100 units of this bath mat and have received very few complaints. Our return policy clearly states that we may request photos or videos when a quality concern is raised. This is purely for quality control purposes so we can assess the issue with our supplier. In genuine defect cases, we do not require customers to return the product — we issue a full refund and often offer a free replacement.

This is exactly what we communicated to you: once we received images for QC review, we would:
• Issue a full refund
• Send a replacement product
• Allow you to keep the current item (no return required)

Unfortunately, before we could complete that process, we received threats of a bank fraud report and chargeback, which was later initiated. As a small business, chargebacks are extremely damaging and banks almost always side with the cardholder. To avoid escalation, we proceeded with a full refund immediately.

We always aim to resolve concerns fairly and professionally, and we appreciate that the outcome is now reflected in your updated rating.

Do not order from this place, they are fraud, they order stock from DH Gate and sell it as luxury, the item I received is laughable nothing like what the photo showed

Products of very poor quality

Products of very poor quality. Paid 50 pounds for something no worth even 2 pounds.
Coat rack, all nocked and scratch, pieces has being staple so badly they coming off. Basically it is pallet wood with a cheap stain. Nothing properly finish, fittings no design for purpose. Timber quality the cheapest posible.
Customer service after 3 emails and this review they contacted me and offer me a refund and a replacement item. I reject the replacement and i waiting for the refund.
So if you want something stylish and quality avoid this company.
I will never ever buy something from them

Excellent Customer Service

I had an initial problem with Royal Basic, due to their supplier sending the wrong coloured lamp & the delivery being delayed, but I can’t fault Royal Basic for their constant communication & effort to correct the order, and chance to cancel order due to the extended delivery time. I even received a free useful gift from them, which was a nice surprise.
