It's tough when you are contimplating handing off an item that you know is valuable but isn't necessarily adding value to your life. You struggle with the decision. If it weren't for Jeff Cafferelli, I'm not sure I would have moved forward. I had two other auction houses dismiss me. He took the time to really look at my offering and understand it's value. I was immediately put at ease with him and after talking with him knew that RR Auction was the place to hand this gem over to. They were class A in service. Very patient. It literally took a year to make the decision, I never felt pressured. The item auctioned for more than I expected and I expected alot. Marketing of the item was top notch. Their reputation also put me at ease.

I believe this is a scam site. I bid on an autographed album. I set my future bids to my maximum price. I was "winning" up until close to the end. Then suddenly, I was outbid and I received an email asking if I wanted to bid again. I did not reply because I was not overpaying that much for the item. Normally I would not think any of it. but 2 months later they were auctioning off the SAME exact item. So, they never even sold this item the time I was bidding on it. How do I know it was the same item that I was bidding on 2 months earlier??? Because there was a slight crease in the cover of the album. I am 100 percent sure it was the exact item that I "lost the bidding " on 2 months earlier. I had a picture of the one I was bidding on and zoomed in and compared the 2 album covers and the crease or bend in the cover. They were an EXACT match. I feel this site lies to drive up the price even though they will collect a high premium percentage on the winning bid

I have been bidding on signed autographs from RR Auctions for the past 15 years. I have been very happy with my acquisitions and the customer service provided by the company. All of my items shipped were exactly as described in the online auction summaries.

I would highly recommend this auction house to anyone interested in acquiring high quality and authentic autographs.

I tried to consign about $10000 worth of stuff with them which I have seen sold results for in the past of my exact items on their site and the experts rejected my items. Not all of us are millionaires RRauction. Funny thing is I had thousands and thousands of dollars of more stuff on the way. I am constantly buying. I will look for someone else.

The most professional Autograph Auction house out there. As a consignor I can't recommend them highly enough,from offering initial images, to receiving items , to describing listing's, to listing sales, to on time payments, they look after you through the whole process. Excellent.

The family of Tom Petty is pursuing swift legal action against RR Auction house. The house has announced a current auction of personal property of Petty’s that the entire family firmly believes has been outright stolen from a secured archive based on prior knowledge, staff observations and documentation. The family is pursuing all available legal action for the immediate return of these items, and they ask that fans and collectors refrain from participating in this auction until the matter is settled to avoid getting further involved in this legal action.

“We believe RR Auction, headquartered in Boston, is offering stolen Tom Petty memorabilia with a completely false provenance inaccurate to fact and in complete denial of clear evidence they have been presented. They will not disclose the cosigner who has provided these items or how they were acquired. But they are clearly stolen, there is no other word for it.”

The missing articles include the personal items and items from the professional career of their beloved Tom Petty —all with an established provenance in the Petty family’s secure storage —which include jackets, hats, vests, boots, shirts, shoes, autographed items and recent exclusive limited editions easily traced back to family members and more. “These items have irreplaceable sentimental and educational value for the family and legacy of Tom Petty and we look forward to their safe return.”

I have had the absolute privilege of working with this company for 25 years and can say without any reservation, they are the absolute best in the industry. In my quest for vintage signed Hollywood material they are the gold standard( not to mention any of the signed material categories they feature). They strive for perfection and they most certainly achieve the highest level of that goal. My greatest regret is not finding this exceptional company sooner during the first 5 years of my 30 year Hollywood journey.Hats off to beautiful folks who do a beautiful job ! Buy with confidence. Dont usually write reviews but I have been buying autographs from auctions for years and RR is one of the few auctions where their customer service is really top notch, - they actually care about their customers. They also have a hugh number of superb and authentic autographs and all members of staff whom I have dealt with are charming (and you cant say that for the staff in most auction houses nowadays ). At least you know when you buy from RR auction your prized autograph will be authentic. what more could you want from an auction house? Autograph authenticity and outstanding customer service
