Listen, multiple attempts to reach R&R Customer Support was a complete joke! Know that just as long as that money train continues to roll down the track nothing els truly matters! They do not respond PERIOD via FB Messenger, email, or web inquiries! Paid for the R&R San Diego through Active.com and my flight was cancelled in Phoenix. Messaged R&R Support and have yet to receive a response which is quite typical from experience! The event itself is decent, support in every aspect could not be any more deplorable! I've opened a complaint with the BBB as well as the state Attorney General's Office for answers that I have yet to recaive! Again, it's all about the money and nothing else matters so choose your next event accordingly!
We had a great time at the Las Vegas RnR 2019 so I early registered for the LV RnR for the 2020 event. Obviously that didn't happen.
Late 2021 we were emailed stating that we could use our race credit for the Feb 2022 event. Being from Canada with the covid restrictions I wasn't able to plan a trip to go in a few short months. I emailed them to make alternate arrangements like they told us to. No one ever responded.
I emailed them this week to join the Feb 2024 event and was told my race happened already. I informed the customer service representative that I had tried to make alternate plans and they hadn't gotten back to me. Was told there is nothing that can be done.
They have had my $170usd payment since 2019 and provided me nothing for. Will be exploring small claims court options
Unfortunately, you cannot give a review if less than 1-star, which this “company” doesn’t deserve. As you can plainly see from all of the other reviews on here, the scam operation is simple - Collect a ton of cash from unsuspecting customers hoping to participate in a race, on a set date, in a specific city and/or at a specific location. Then, they hold on to ALL THAT CASH from tens of thousands of bilked consumers for months - if not years. They don’t host/have a race at their own choosing - for (insert any number of ridiculous excuses) and then ardently refuse to provide refunds against the fees they charged for the services they never rendered. The solution you ask? Well … to go race somewhere else, in a State that could be thousands of miles away, and in a different year altogether … when you very well may be dead. Or, if that seems unreasonable, to simply, “go to he**” as their customer support rep put it. They operate fearlessly and are unchecked. I have opened an investigation with the FTC - and, I will not allow this to drop. They’ve been getting away with this, and lining their pockets with free GOLD, for years. They must be stopped. Stay VERY FAR away!!!
I recently filed a complaint with the BBB to try and get my money back from this company. I can’t believe a race company this huge wouldn’t refund peoples entry fees when races are cancelled and moved around. My first race was cancelled, and the race I deferred to was rescheduled multiple times. It is now three years later, and I don’t want to run this race or let them have my money! Other racing companies smaller than them are refunding.
Ripped me off for my money i payed for a marathon, tried to contact them every way i can and still no reply, wouldn’t recommend this company
Is negative stars an option?
As a now former highly loyal RNR customer, I have simply been trying to obtain a full and complete refund from RnR for over 18 months now, in relation to a cancelled race of theirs that I paid for in full in advance.
I have contacted them over 79 times now via multiple communication methods, so far to no avail.
All other event companies and organizations across the globe that have had to cancel events have rightfully offered their loyal customers full refunds - it's high time RnR did the same.
It's very distressful for my family and I, even more so during these extremely difficult COVID-19 times, when we are all just trying to make ends meet and put food on the table.
