My partner had been in the UK illegally for 7 years, we tried to regulate his stay with another immigration solicitor but was refused in March due to our circumstances. My partner then went to Albania to see if he could apply for a visa from there, the application was again refused in May as our solicitor had told us to apply for the wrong visa.

After getting two refusals, we lost hope of our chances. After doing an internet search, I came across Sabz Solicitors or ukimmigrationsolicitors, I was a bit skeptic at first having not heard of them and reading a few reviews. I called the company and explained my situation, they told me that they could help me with my case and everything would be done properly. They said that they usually charge hourly but because it was a complex case with two refusals there would be a fixed price, this price remained fixed. The payment had to be made on the same day for all work to commence. This made me more skeptic but I agreed because they sounded like they knew exactly what had to be done in my matter.

A few days later I was called by a Senior Solicitor who walked me through each stage of the process and the documents that I had to prepare on my side. Everything was clear and I was emailed exactly what was spoken about over the phone and was given a checklist of the documents/evidences I had to prepare along with the details of who my caseworker would be. I was still feeling anxious of not meeting the team face-to-face but I was calm in the knowledge that everything was prepared accordingly to my personal circumstance and not could not afford to lose hope, especially as I was suffering with very bad mental health since.

After a few days, I was introduced to my caseworker over the phone, however he unfortunately fell off sick and I was appointed to a different caseworker, Mr Amir Farooqui. This made me really nervous as I was worried that the work would not be followed through the same. However, the service that Amir gave was exceptional! From the beginning he was very attentive and was always available if I had any questions. I was informed on every single step of the process in a professional manner. Everything was explained clearly to me and I wasn't given any false promises as I did with a previous immigration solicitor from a different company.

Throughout the process, Amir would send me drafts of the application as well as the cover letter to ensure I was happy with it and made it clear that nothing would be sent until he had received all of the evidences and I was happy with everything he had written, he even stayed overtime to ensure that I was happy for the application to be submitted.

I had paid for the 6 week priority service as I was could not wait for me and partners life to go back to normal especially being apart for 8 months on and off. We submitted the application on 8th October and Amir had told me that there was a biometrics appointment available in Albania on the 16th! We were over the moon!! Usually we had to wait 1 month for the appointment! We took the appointment and this allowed enough time for Amir to upload all the documents and my partner to get everything ready. The 6 weeks started after the biometrics had been given.

These 6 weeks were the longest of our lives, I was constantly ringing Amir asking if he had received any news, knowing that he was on top of everything and that he would inform me if so, as I was beginning to lose hope and was prepared to ask the Home Office for the priority refund. Finally in the 6th week, on 24th November, I received an email from Amir saying that a decision had been made and the passport was ready for pick up. But I was still nervous. No definite response. However, Amir informed me that usually if it were a refusal, it would be given to the Solicitors first. But of course, I had to see it to believe it. Today, my partner picked up his passport, with a shiny UK visa inside!!!!!

We are over the moon!!!!!!! I will forever be grateful to this amazing company, no wonder they are number 1 solicitors in Manchester for Immigration! Especially to Amir! We couldn't have been given a more caring, professional and expert Solicitor. His cover letter was 6 pages long and clearly highlighted all of the aspects as to why the visa should be approved even with two refusals and a breach to Immigration rules!

Do not believe the bad comments! I was skeptic as first but after the amazing experience and service we have received, from the receptionist who was 100% knowledged in immigration matters, to the senior solicitors to Amir, we cannot wait to do our visa extension with this company, hopefully with Amir!

I have dealt with them twice ..Once 5 years back to get my wife here after it was rejected and then now recently after her ilr was denied ..

Both times , sabz solicitors were amazing ..First it was Miss shabnum and now, Mr Khan and Mr Babar ..I cannot thank Miss Shabnam enough. I pray for her every day..it sounds drastic , but u cannot imagine what me and my wife went through.

If this hadn't worked, I would have quit my job as a doctor and left back to India ..

Well 5 years later, when my application for ilr failed, I went back to them. It was such easy process , I surely felt it was a bit expensive..but I was ready to give it all ...

So after my review I left on here 7 days ago I have had phone call from the office begging me to remove it! I'm so so so angry that I can not even believe this is a solicitors ! They told me that they had a response from home office and would give it me after I moved the review !!! Talking over you on the phone !!!!! Blackmailing you called me 2 - 3 times a day !!!! Just to remove the review !!!! I'm in absolute shock over this place I'm ALBANIAN DONT USE THIS COMPANY! I have recorded the phone calls !!! Kept all my emails and now have the legal ombersmon dealing with this shame company ! Also learned a few other things about this company and what they do on the side !!!!! Absolutely disgusting!

If you are Albanian do not use this company! They lie to you, I have waited 8 months for an answer regarding my application! After 6 months you can request a answer, when I call the solicitor they told me they will write to immigration I asked why can they not phone or email they said that this is not possible and you was only able to write to immigration. After my dad has an accident and asked the solicitors to escalate and send evidence from the hospital they said they submitted it but 2 days later no reply, so I found a phone number on the Internet and I couldn't believe it I spoke to immigration ( which they said wasn't possible) they told me they would escalate the application and will get an answer with in 3 days they also asked me to get the paperwork translated from the hospital in Albania, so I called the solicitors back knowing the process and asked them if I needed to translate the documents they said no I asked how long it would take for an answer they didn't know so then I decided to let them know I had just got the phone to immigration that I needed to translate the documents and its 72 hours for an answer had they of actually done the job I would of had an answer tomorrow but they didn't even do the job they left me believing they had while my dad is in hospital with every day being important!!!! They took my time and don't care once you have paid you get lied to, different solicitors because staff leave all the time ! And you never know who to speak to ! Now no one will talk to me on the phone just get told to email this complaint has been sent to the legal ombudsman! I have done the job on the phone my self immigration was very helpful! And have now said we will have an answer within 72 hours !!! Had I of not called immigration maybe I'm still waiting one month later when it's to late to see my dad !!!!!

I was hopeless and had lost faith in all else before my partner called Sabz solicitors and we were assigned Haq Nawaz as my representative. My case was very complex and even when I doubted, he was so supportive and reassuring from the get go: document preparation, case presentation and prompt communication and made the impossible possible. Don't do the free assessment call they are sales people they guilt you and will rush you into signing with them and paying full fee up front, they make you feel that they are the best lawyers in the world then they trap you into paying their fees without even starting the work! And if you want to cancel or didn't like their service forget about ever getting your money back! I canceled my contract almost next day and they denied and charged me 300 for half an hour call with the lawyer and wanted to charge me 300 more for work I still didn't receive! Their resolution center kept guilting me about asking for a refund and saying you if you are serious about your case you should just pay the fee!!! They said they already started the work but where is it? I never received anything in my email!!! I regret ever doing the free assessment! I am very sad and I will never see my money again, I feel like I been fooled. Btw I didn't see these reviews before I hired them they have another name UKimmigration solicitors. And they didn't even give me enough time before hiring them to search for reviews as they changed their name I could only see the real name in the Bill.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Ijaz Ahmed ( solicitor),and Syed Rehan (immigration caseworker),on the successful outcome on my leave to remain, thank you for being consistent from start to finish, nothing is to much trouble for them, they will go above and beyond for there clients, and have so much care and patience, they are always at the end of the phone for any worries or questions,if it wasn’t for them I would not have been granted my visa. If you need a solicitor sabz solicitors are the ones to go to.

My wife came over from Argentina and stayed with me until I had worked enough to start the application for a spouse visa. We originally contacted another solicitor and paid £200 for an advice call, to find out she could apply within the country. After the language test, we tried to contact the same solicitor but they didn't reply even, so we started our search again. I came across Sabz and spoke with an advisor who gave me pretty much the same information that I had just spent all that money on finding out. She seemed really informed and spoke to her solicitors, as our case and the pressing time was a bit of an issue, being that my wife's tourist visa was about to expire, and the new rules meaning you could apply from within the country. I'd been in several social media pages etc to get some clarity, but ended up being given mixed information, and felt more confused and stressed by the time I got in touch with Sabz, not to mention that the government kept changing the rules.

We settled withthe idea of hiring Sabz, paid the fee and were put in contact with Ali Rizvi a day or 2 later. I have to say I bent his ear a fair bit with my wife's and my concerns, but he laid it all out for us, so really we only followed his instructions. It was a simple enough process, and he was always there for us when we needed to talk to him. He was super re-assuring and in these strange times it really felt necessary to have someone on our side that not only understands the law of the matter, but could also keep cool and up to date with whatever changes the government make regarding immigration, which seem to be pretty much weekly during this pandemic.

We gave him all the info, he went through the application a nd sent us things back and forth, checked our letters, wrote a cover letter for us, booked the biometric appointment and processed the payment. Then, silence. Really nervous silence. We waited for the biometric appointment which was a month later. On the day we were nervous and the biometric people had changed the address 3 days before. We spoke to someone else at Sabz twice the day of the appointment to ensure we were going to the right place, the 2nd time he even said he would pick us up at the station and drive us there if it came to it. Thankfully it didn't, but honestly it just took a weight off my shoulders.

Anyway, 8 working days later, we received an email from Ali, congratulating my wife for her visa being approved. It seems from speaking to other people in spouse visa groups that they were processing the decisions quite quickly, so after years of going back and forth, it was all sorted.

I sound like I'm fluffing it a bit, and I know that people do the application without a solicitor, but honestly it's a minefield to get it all done straight, especially with covid and especially with mixed opinions from other people. We would have missed stuff and gone overkill in other ways, but having someone experienced and professional on your side is invaluable if it means you can be with your loved one. Thanks again, especially to Ali, but to all we spoke to at Sabz!

Their first people you talk (sales), some great bunch of people. The problem you have they do not tell you any truth, you face the reality after you pay the initial fee. After realizing how hard things are for my type of application, i decided to withdraw my contract with them, and this is where it hits you really hard, they want to charge you excessive amount of money for doing absolutely nothing.
I am sure they may be good at certain things, but for me they i gelt that they just scammed me over £600 for absolutely nothing.

Absolutely shocking service.
X who initially contacted me to get me to instruct was great. Always contacted me when he said he would. Very informative and reassuring. However after instructing SABZ and paying the fee, I was allocated XX as my case manager. How he got his law degree I don’t know. I did everything to secure my, at the time fiancé’s visa. I’m not even sure he or anyone at the firm checked my documents. The communication was so poor through the first application and I had to correct many of XX’s mistakes delaying the submission of our application.
I’m not shocked that the visa was accepted as I worked extremely hard to ensure everything was as it needed to be before submitting but that was in no way thanks to any work that SABZ solicitors did. I regret every instruction them. I could have done it all on my own and saved myself time and money.

Sometime after our successful application XX either resigned or I’m guessing was let go from the firm to which I found out by automated response when emailing XX to get the ball rolling on my now husbands visa extension / FLR (I so naively instructed SABZ to deal with it all for us from the start).
After receipt of the “I no longer work for the firm” response I emailed the only other contact I has and after waiting and waiting was finally told that our case had been passed to XXX.
We’ve had to resign LOAs and client declarations which we had already done the first time around! Upon sending them back I’ve had no acknowledgement whatsoever. I’ve sent several documents to be “reviewed” and been met with pure ignorance. Knowing that some paperwork needs to be dated within 28 days you’d think the time limit and the fact that I am a paying client would grant some urgency but no. I’m now finding myself making a formal complaint to them and if met with further ignorance shall be pursuing it with the legal ombudsman.
STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS SOLICITORS FIRM.

Update: I did pursue a complaint with the Ombudsman and I won!!!
I’ve just had to go back through this and remove the names of the persons I dealt with at a request of the solicitor firm as this apparently goes against their privacy.

My experience with Sabz solicitors has been exceptional. I have been working with Sabz since 2014 and ever since I had the privilege of receiving professional advic on my case. In particular I want to say massive thanks to Mr Bilal who gave me professional and sufficient advise and support whenever I needed. He is knowledgeable and talented in his job, always gives you the best possible advice and finds the most efficient way to resolve your issue in a timely manner.
I also want to thanks MrFaheem who was my case worker, again he was professional and patient to answer my question and emailed / called me when I needed. Going into it with a slightly unique case I found the outcome was the best possible outcome for me. Naturalisation. Faheem was very responsive to all my communications and managed to see this through to the end even if it wasn't easy at times.

Sabz Solicitors/ ukimmigrationsolicitors.co.uk were exceptionally attentive and supportive in responding to my initial visitor visa enquiry. HOWEVER, after I paid the money they requested, everything changed. The visa application they completed was terrible. It was full of mistakes and basic grammatical errors that would have embarrassed a 12 year old .Even genders were incorrect where she had simply copied and pasted. It was then we realised how the firm worked. They were incredibly slow at everything after we paid our money and when you tried to contact them via phone, the secretary would state that “she was on another call”, “On lunch” “On another call” until “She has gone home for the day”.
After the visa application was processed, we received a message to say that his passport was ready for collection at the Ghana visa centre but when we arrived there was no attached visa. We waited outside the centre and tried to contact Sabz solicitor to clarify if we should wait for the visa. We waited all day, receiving the usual “On another call” as we awaited our solicitor to phone us. She failed to return our call (or even give us a message via her secretary) by the end of the day. The next day, she emailed me informing me that my husband’s visa had been refused the week before but she hadn’t had time to tell me. Completely unethical!
It was evident from the Home Office refusal that the application was lacking in evidence and not completed correctly. When I read through it was obvious that the Home Office were correct and the form was not completed properly. On the solicitor’s advice, a PAP letter was sent for a further £600 which was also refused and then the solicitor tried to get me to go to court ( with more fees incurred).
At a point in life that you need the support and professionalism of a solicitor Sabz Solicitor / ukimmigrationsolicitors.co.uk failed me completely. The work they did was refused by the home office and the ignored emails, refusal to speak to me on the phone and holding of Home Office decisions by over a week was nothing more than immoral.
PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

We had a bad experience elsewhere and decided to give Sabz solicitors a go and I am glad we did.
