Good and very informative

Love my new leather saddle. Very well made and sturdy! I get lots of
compliments on it.

You get what you pay for. This is meant for more novice horse riders or experienced riders.
It’s the quality you expect for a saddle this price, and It’s easy on the wallet especially when I dont want to spend over a $1000.

Just needed a good saddle for a horse I’ve been working, he’s average size so I got a full quarter bar and it fit like a glove. Got it real fast too

HORRIBLE QUALITY….
I cannot say enough bad things about the quality of the saddle I received from these people. Absolutely terrible. The leather hardly felt real, the tree was weak, the cuts on the edge of the leather were frayed, and the stain was super oily- just to name a few issues. Then, you have to pay for shipping to send their crappy saddle back to them. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. $500 saddles should not be as flimsy as a piece of cardboard. And don’t even try calling customer service, they will not do anything for you.

I would have given it less stars if I didn't like it so much.
They did not have a size in stock..Even so the one I did get was an eeok
Quick shipping, good communication, good product at a good price.

It's a very good and affordable saddle. And it fits my horse and me very nice. The leather is a nice color. I use this saddle for leisure. I'm very happy with it, especially with the price. They're for average everyone person price range. It's $500, But feels like it'll last.
Updated (2023): As of now, the saddle is still in good condition, just light oiling for the leather

This company is a scam do not order anything from them! I sent him money for a Saddle he says he cannot receive the money because his PayPal account has been suspended. I have talked to PayPal several times, this information is not correct, so I have confronted him and now he is not even returning my call or message. I am out of my money and a saddle!

Ok, I am reviewing my purchase based on the $499 saddle I bought and the company! When reading these negative reviews, IT IS A $499 SADDLE! If I wanted the quality and comfort of a Billy Cook I would have spent $4000 but I didn't! Is the leather stiff,, yep, is the quality what you would expect from a Billy Cook,, nope! Is it made in India,, Yep! IT IS A $499 SADDLE! For $499 it is EXACTLY what you would expect, nothing more, nothing less! Absolutely perfect for my kid to be plowing through the woods on! As far as the company goes, I called them up, they answered any questions I had, placed the order, It shipped to me in 4 days! If I want another $499 saddle, I will buy from them again. Don't listen to the review from people who are too cheap to pay for what they expect! GREAT $499 saddle!!

Received my saddle and it does not fit my horse whatsoever. From what a my trainer said it won't fit any horse in her opinion. Apparently their return policy is that you have to pay for shipping to it's going to cost me $100 to return this piece of junk. Very poorly made, the stirrups don't even match! Not to mention it is almost impossible to adjust one of them. Do not buy from this website! Total waste of money. I thought I'd give them a shot because of the good reviews. Mistake.

The saddle I purchased was supposedly originally $899 (model # 11071) on sale for $299. It was supposed to weigh 25lbs which is a big part of the reason I bought it. It weighed 40lbs. The leather was cheap and treated with some sort of chemical and the smell was horrible.....almost like diesel and it permeated the space it was in.
I had to return it and the cheapest way to do so was $128.04.

The customer service agent was very friendly.

I am out $128.04 for a bad experience. Lesson learned. I will continue to look for a used saddle.

I ordered a western close contact saddle sept.2019, knew it was made in india, 1st mistake. The saddle was nice looking , weight was what I needed at 24#'s. The saddle had a shiny finish, very stiff especially the fenders. I have been trying to soften this "leather" so I can ride it. No luck getting the fenders to bend. I've used multiple saddle softer, used saddle soap, then needs foot oil. Yes, I oiled front, back,sides multiple times over the last few months. The only way I could get the stirrups to turn was almost brute force, then a broom handle for multiple days, then having to do it again after 4-5 days. Will not stay in place. I rode in it the last 2 days, but the stirrups aren't staying in place. Can't bend the fenders to put over horn!!! I have contacted saddleonline 2 x's. I've done what they recommended, no help. I even went to my saddle guy, nothing has worked. Not a happy camper, probably will not use, so stuck with it.

I am pretty frustrated with him! My boyfriend decided to buy me one of the buffalo bags! He ordered it back in October and the at the time the website stated 3-4 to weeks and it would be sent out! He also accepted the money! We have tried and tried to talk to him and he ignores messages, he messaged back once! 11 weeks later and he is still ignoring us! Very very disappointed! I would love to support his work as it a gorgeous but he is sure it making it hard! He could at least message back... saying anything, possibly a hey I am super busy and I would be happy and understanding. Very disappointed!!!

I needed a light weight saddle with a wide gullet. So ordered one from saddle on line. It fits my horse and is 20 lbs. The price was okay. The leather is not very good quality compared to our leather on most US saddles. It has a finish on it that scratches easily and is showing some cracking. But I am keeping it because of the light weight factor. I took it to a saddle maker and these are the suggestions that he fixed or told me how to fix. You do have to make a couple of modifications though to make the whole saddle work. The Latigo strap keeper (the cinch strap on the left side) needs to be unscrewed, the the top of the leather keeper cut off to be able to move the keeper higher and towards the front of the saddle by about a half inch otherwise it rubs on your knee as you ride. It is easy to rescrew back on with two new holes in the reconfigured keeper. Omearn the right side they used the same cut out keeper for a cinch tie up. It doesn't work that way so you have to punch a round hole to put your cinch latch through to hold it up. I've soaked the stirrups for several hours and twisted the stirrups. Use a two by four board not the old fashioned broomstick (not strong enough) weigh the board down(I used paint cans) after twisting the stirrups several times. He recommended leaving it twisted for 5 -6 days to really let the laqued leather and webbing dry. Those are the saddle maker's recommendations to help make this saddle comfortable. He also recommended replacing the thin Latigo on the left with a thicker leather one but the right one is fine. The screws used in the back are probably okay because of the thickness of a saddle pad, a single thickness blanket may not prevent soreness. Just be careful.

I ordered the crystal teal saddle. Not only is it beautiful, but it came with so many different things such as a bridle, reins, breast strap, & even a mat!! Well worth the price I paid for it & I'm super excited about my purchase! 😊

My saddle arrived in 4 days in excellent condition. It fits my mare perfect(Arabian tree) its extremely comfortable and sturdy. For the price it is excellent. I am extremely happy with saddlesonline and my purchase. Will definitely shop again!

Customer service is good. Very cheap saddle and the moderator won't post any real reviews on their website about the saddles. There were post that said that the saddle was high quality like a $2,000 saddle. Not TRUE! This saddle is made in India. Very cheap!!!!!!! The worst part is if you don't like it shipping will cost you $115 to return. The saddle does not fit any horses properly. It is cheap leather, very stiff, dry and cracking. They spray the saddle with a shiny lacquer. Because the saddle does not fit the horse properly it tends to throw the rider forward when riding. Not very secure like a saddle should be.

You are better off spending the money on a good used quality saddle.

UPDATE 7/18: Customer service reached out to me and sent me a shipping label to pay for the shipping. I was impressed with how their customer service handled my dissatisfaction. I would suggest before you purchase actually speak with someone in sales.

I updated my 1 star to a 3 star because of their customer service but the product is still not a well-made saddle.
