Alles ging mis

Alles ging mis. Slechte rookmelders en slechte service. Hij doet zich voorkomen alsof hij een groot bedrijf heeft maar hij werkt maar alleen. Als je hem belt neemt hij niet op. Wij hebben alles weer verwijderd en een ander bedrijf ingeschakeld.

I have been trying to contact them…

I have been trying to contact them regarding an online order and I cannot get a hold of anybody. Both of the numbers to call have hung up on me while I was on hold. I’ve texted and submitted a request online and have heard nothing. I just want to update my shipping address so we can get the car seat to the correct address. Literally if anybody is out there and reading this please help

The product was purchased from Amazon

The product was purchased from Amazon! The product box was damaged on side and appears it was open and retapped! The car seat did not have any plastic or protection on it, just in the box! I have never bought a car seat and it was not in a bag or some type of plastic/ protection! The cushion and car seat looks like it has been used before and dirt on the cushion! The cushion for the car seat has a different manufacturer date than the car seat! Also, someone changed the manufacturer date on the car seat cushion! They changed the 1 to a 7! So the date on the car seat cover was 1-3-2025 but was changed to 7-3-2015! See pictures below! The car seat has scratches on it! I would not buy from this seller! Something is not right and changing the manufacturer date is a serious and safety issue! I called Safety 1st to share with them the situation and missed informed regarding who to contact! They did not seem to concern that someone is changing the manufacture date! I already made Amazon aware of the situation and they didn’t seem to really take it serious! Bottom line I would not recommend buying a car seat from a third-party through Amazon, just go in the store and purchase the product!

My car seat was under recall

My car seat was under recall. Customer service has basically given me the run around without really any idea when things will ship out or what is actually supposed to ship. I contacted them at the end of May due to the car seat piece recall. They said pieces will ship out mid June. Mid June came, and I called again and they say, oh it’ll be any moment now. Near end of June comes and they say, “well it’s actually just a letter being shipped out for you to order the piece yourself—free of charge. It’ll ship out shortly after.” So I order the piece. It is now 2.5 weeks since I placed the order and I had to call AGAIN, just to hear “well there was a delay, but they are shipping out mid-late July.” Just ridiculous. There was no notification that it would be late! I have to call to figure out all this information. It’s very inconvenient, especially since my toddlers car seat part is almost falling off!

Got in contact with the company

Got in contact with the company to ask a question about an item and its availability and their idiotic response was to suggest a “google” search.
Why have customer services when they offer no service

Savannah’s response to my complaint was to thank me and glad my google search was successful which was ABSOLUTELY not what I said, as I told her I was frustrated with her abbrogation.

Defektes Auto Close Kindergitter

Wir hatten nach 1,5 Jahren ein defektes Gitter das wir bei Amazon bestellt hatten. Wir haben Kontakt mit Safety aufgenommen und uns wurde sofort ohne zu zögern ein neues Gitter gesendet. Ich habe noch nie so einen freundlichen Kundenservice erlebt, die Dame war super bemüht und hat uns immer sofort weitergeholfen und wir hatten immer innerhalb ein paar Stunden Antworten bekommen.
Das alte Gitter mussten wir auch nicht zurückschicken.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder Produkte hier kaufen.

I’m really disappointed with Safety 1st…

I’m really disappointed with Safety 1st for discontinuing support for their MO163 baby monitor. The app no longer works, and now the monitor is basically useless. I spent good money on this, and I expected it to last longer.

There’s been no real effort to offer replacements, fixes, or discounts, which feels like a letdown from a brand I trusted. I won’t be buying their products again.

Poor customer service support.

Poor customer service support in UK. Bought one of their baby gates off Amazon and it contained an incorrect part which meant the gate was unable to be used. I contacted their support asking for them to send out a replacement part (very small adjuster wheel). Was told "we do not stock spare parts".....great thanks👍.

Outstanding customer service

Outstanding customer service. We had lost a fixture from a stairgate and needed it to use the stair gate once more, for a second child. They sent the missing piece via DPD next day delivery. Absolutely delighted that we didn’t need to go and replace the stair gate as it is quality. Thanks so much

Fantastic customer support

Fantastic customer support. We had lost a child gate part in a house move so I emailed Safety1st on the off chance they may have a part service . Sophie replied asking for photos of part & product info . Within 24 hours I received a reply informing me the parts were dispatched & would be delivered by DPD within 2-3 days, they arrived today 6 days after contact at no cost. Thanks Sofie what a great company & great customer support.

Best Customer Service I’ve experienced.

I lost a part from my stairgate after storing it in the loft. I contacted Safety1st via email, the response was extremely fast, asking for photos of the gate and a description of the missing part. Once I sent these I had an almost immediate reply to say the part had been ordered and would be delivered via DPD. Sophie was extremely helpful and I would definitely purchase from them again.

Kundensupport unterirdisch

Wir haben einen Hochstuhl von Safety 1st gekauft. Leider sind schon nach kurzer Zeit zwei Füße auseinander gebrochnen.

Also über das Reklamationsformular auf der Webseite dies bemängelt mit Bildern, Typenschild usw. Alles was gefordert war.

3 Wochen lang meldet sich niemand. Dann möchte man eine Rechnung, obwohl das Produktionsdatum noch keine 2 Jahre in der Vergangenheit liegt.

Ohne Rechnung könne man nichts machen. Nach langem suchen die Rechnung gefunden und an den Support geschickt. Jetzt die Antwort erhalten, man wäre nicht zuständig, ich soll mich an den Händler wenden, bei dem ich den Stuhl gekauft habe.

Katastrophe dieser Kundenservice.

Fantastic customer support

I cannot remember a better customer experience that I had with Safety 1st.

I contacted them via email with an issue I was having with a gate part. They were incredibly helpful and responsive.

UK support is non-existent

UK support is non-existent. I have sent emails, Facebook messages, attempted calling and even contacted US based support but no joy. The product I purchased (U-Pressure Fir Quick Close +) was missing a nut which is means that it would not be secure at all four points.

When I call, the message says email as they aren’t accepting calls. When I email it goes unanswered (at this stage I’ve been waiting for 12 days for a response, when the confirmation email stated 3 days). I understand they will respond saying they are very busy atm like every company is doing, using the recent pandemic as a shield for inadequate customer support and communications. I was able to speak with their US based support on Twitter, but didn’t get anywhere as it is a UK based issue.

To anyone considering purchase a safety 1st product, beware! If you face any issues with the product and need support, you will be left screaming into a void as the UK side of this business simply does not care about supporting customers and standing over their products.
