Another great flotilla holiday. I have been so many times now I have lost count which is why I can hardly believe the one negative review on here. I have never seen or heard of such a problem. My experiences have been, like nearly everyone else, completely positive and I will be going again with Sailing Holidays next year.

First flotilla for us and the lead crew ( Adam, Olivia and Florian) could not have been more helpful, patient and diligent - first class work to create a special holiday - we hope to be back..

Really super holiday, so much so that we have booked again this year. Boats were well maintained, lead crew were excellent, general levels of organisation was very good.

Flights were with Easyjet - never my first choice. This year I was pleased to be able to make use of their option to go with BA. Pickup/Transfer at airport was easy and well organised.

We had no experience of being asked to run engine in harbour. In fact, I would suggest environmental awareness was emphasised on numerous occasions. All on-board provided detergents and cleaning products were Ecover.

Just came across a couple of the reviews on this website and felt the need to write my own.
We have been on flotilla with Sailing Holidays 7 or 8 times now and I can honestly say that they have all been fantastic. The company has a laid back 'you can sail' attitude which allows people from all backgrounds to experience the joys of sailing in a relaxed and very friendly manner due to the mainly young crew that they employ.
We have met lovely people who book time and time again, many of which have tried other companies but found them to be overly strict or a little bit too pretentious, none of which Sailing Holidays are.
For me personally, our Skipper (female) gave me the encouragement and the confidence to bring the boat in during one of our flotillas under her careful guidance and I have since gone on to complete my Day Skipper.
Yes they do have a big presence in the Ionian but they have been doing this for years, way before a lot of the other companies and I have not yet met a local bar or restaurant that isn't happy and grateful for the business that they bring.There are always going to be private yachts or other smaller companies that think they should have these quays and harbours to themselves.
And anyone that is thinking of going with children or teens, just do it - a flotilla has many benefits for them from making friends, fun games organised by the crew and for me it was a way of my 'then' children socialising in a fun and safe environment - all good life skills for later.
Also a shout out to the London office who are always so accommodating and friendly - keep up the good work.

Flights out- Our nine year old was placed on his own. We were all sat separately. They could have fixed this but did not do it. Causing great stress at the airport.However they did seat us together for our return flights.
We did not sail to most of the places that we were supposed to visit. But instead raced back and forth in a small area, trying to get into Marinas that they had not booked. Very little sailing time most days we were released between 9.30 and 10.30 and told to go straight to the next port giving only half day sails. The lead crew of three - two hooked up with each other, and behaved un professionally as if they were on holiday them selfs, which added to our short sails. No free sail day! Either- Customer services, response to our complaints was shocking.

This company is a total disaster. They show pour seamanship and have now respect for environment. They come in the harbour front in a big group of boats and instruct their customers to run their engines for 3 hours to charge batteries, which makes them very unpopular to other sailors and a big smelly disturbance to people eating at the tavernas. Their guides are rude and arrogant when you try to correct this unacceptable behaviour in the harbour. If you book with this company you will be looked down at by local and other sailors, as a big noisy, smelly disturbance to a beautiful and peaceful environment.
