incredibly sly, dishonest and devious…
incredibly dishonest and devious company.
I ordered an item of clothing with a name printed on it from their website on 22/12/25. the one I wanted was out of stock and I ended up having to order a different colour in an older age size.
-25/12/25 I emailed requesting to cancel as I didn't think the item was going to fit.
they replied back on 26th - asking "if I was happy to proceed with the cancellation or if there was any other way they could help me , as my satisfaction was important to them". (I now realise this is put in there deliberately to distract you and delay the confirmation of cancellation, which is never made aware to you of how urgent it is that you do this straight away to avoid not being able to cancel).
I replied back on 26/12/25 - enquiring when the other colour in the age I wanted would be back in stock .
they replied back on 29/12/25 saying 1-2 months.
on the 31/12/25 I received the item that I'd requested to cancel, and it had been posted by 48hr Royal Mail .
which indicates it was being posted out when they were replying to my enquiry on the 29/12.
I emailed them immediately on the 31/12/25 asking why it was posted out when I'd requested it to be cancelled
they replied 1/1/26 saying they had offered to assist me in my cancellation but because I hadn't confirmed they proceeded with the order. the entire email reply gave off the vibe that it was very carefully worded to avoid any responsibility on their part.
I emailed them on 2/1/26- asking where did they say if I didn't reply immediately the order would be fulfilled. their email had given off a very deceitful and sly vibe so I stated as such in my reply. , the rest of my email was questioning the validity of the facts they wrote in their email.
they replied on 5/1/26 - they again ignored my main closed questions regarding the facts, and again replied in a very sly carefully constructed manner , (i.e: where they don't answer a question directly, but distort the facts to suit their own narrative. and not really answer the question )
95% of my email on 2/1/26 was detailing the issue , and asking for proof . 1 sentence was that I believed they were dishonest , and a 2nd sentence at the end of my email was saying that if this is how they run their business then I found islamic quotes added to the footer correspondence distasteful. The latter is just a fact.
Yet over half their cleverly worded email reply to me was to defend themselves, and accusing me of being inappropriate . and asked me to remain respectful .
and then ending with they are open to resolving the matter in a calm manner (again these guys are gas lighting extraordinaire's ). They barely acknowledged the rest of my email. again worded it carefully to suit their narrative.
they justified their inability to deal with queries due to high demand and fulfilment issues they would incur if they did. (which translates to basically saying they don't have the time to do customer service, they are too busy for that).
If you aren't able to deal with queries, and it is imperative that a customer confirms cancellation immediately , then why do you not state that in the email , why do you instead write after asking me to confirm cancellation, I quote; "if you have any other preferences or if there's anything else we can do to assist you, please let us know. your satisfaction is important to us".
As a whole, people will be deceived by dishonest companies online often. This is just another one of them. But the difference here being that this companies goes out of their way to project an islamic principal, and subsequently you feel you're dealing with an honest business, and that you're in a safe place. Please know that you're not. and that they're actually worse than most.
AND YES YOUR BUSINESS ETHICS WHILST PROJECTING A HOLIER THAN THOU IMAGE, DOES LEAVE A BAD TATSE IN ONE'S MOUTH!
