I ordered the “Tar By Afshari ET-202” I accidentally put the wrong address and selected the wrong shipping option so I sent an email. I got a response less than 24 hrs later with confirmation of the changes that I need them to make to my order. So easy and smooth. My Tar arrived early and is in perfect condition. It’s even in tune which really surprised me. Makes me think someone did a real quality check before packing. I’m impressed and if I need anything in the future that they carry Sala Musik will be my first choice no questions asked.

I have an oud that is unusually small and I needed to order a bag or case for it, they answered all my questions very quickly and steered me to the right bag that would fit my instrument. It arrived very quickly and in great shape! Very helpful and I would order from them again.

Ordered a darbuka on Amazon and I wasn’t satisfied so I got an other instrument more of my liking. So I ended up buying a Persian sehtar and I love it! The shipping was extremely fast but there are some importation fees to pay that I wasn’t aware of but it was manageable. The discussions took a long time but they got back to me (must not be in a hurry haha!). They seem concerned about the satisfaction of their clients and that the most important! Loved the Sehtar! There was no flaws on it and was as expected. The only thing I would say the keys to tune it dont stay tuned very long, like they don’t stay in place. Nice craftsmanship. Yeh a good experience even if I wasn’t satisfied at first, I ended up being happy with purchase. The Sehtar was a beginner one but it’s really good I find to begin, sounds very well. Thank you

Sizin yaptiginiz Ud’un işçiliğin... Ud akord tutmuyor kafayı yersin, sürekli atıyor ve saatlerce akord için uğraşıyorsun, birini yapıyorsun öbür tel atıyor. Daracik bir sap yapmışlar tel tel üstüne biniyor. Dünya para alıp bu kadar ustalık isteyen bi enstrüman için zerre çaba dökmemiş adamlar. Herseyde olduğu gibi bunda da asla etik yok memlekette.

Do not buy from these guys, especially the oud (lute) cheapest quality and the money does not worth it. You cannot accord the instrument because it’s already made faulty! You can return the item however you need to pay the post which does not make any sense.

I ordered a Persian Ney from Sala music and it arrived quickly and was very well built. I then ordered a Turkish Ney. It was described as follows:

Body: Made from high-quality Bamboo Reed, providing a warm and resonant tone.

When it arrived, I noticed that the bamboo reed was extremely thin and dried out. Every segment had cracks that had formed along the length or circumference. The quality of the Ney was well below my expectations.

I emailed Sala music and they did not respond to me. I posted a review on their site with multiple photos. The review was removed after about 12 hours. After a few days someone from Sala Music contacted me and offered me the opportunity to return the Ney for a refund. I declined, as I had already played it and the sound was OK.

Other people who have ordered the same Ney have posted reviews which seem to indicate that their versions were good and the Persian Ney that I purchased from them was excellent.

Anything that is handmade should really be purchased in person, but that is not always possible. I am not happy with the fact that they did not respond to me right away, but they did offer to make things right eventually. With the current state of the world, you can’t really ask for much more.

I bought a fretless guitar. I am so happy with it. They shipped it very fast and received in great condition. They a great service.

I ordered an electric oud from Sala a few days out from Xmas. It was $40 postage from Turkey to Australia, and arrived in less than 10 days. The packaging was tight and the oud arrived in perfect condition. It sounds amazing and is great value for the price. Very well made. Good craftsmanship and it sounds exactly like it sounded in the videos. Would highly recommend these guys as everything was perfect

I deeply regret purchasing a persian ney from Sala Muzik. The insrument is of poor build and doesn't sound good. While it can be a challenge to find a well made ney in the west - Sala Muzik looked like a professional music shop. I paid a large sum for rubbish.
I have contacted them twice asking to return the item for a refund. They have ignored both requests. AVOID!

Sala Muzik provided the best customer support. Excellent communication without any delay. I plan on purchasing a Hand Pan Drum in the future.

"I purchased the Sala Muzik darbouka classic bass eminpercu hoping for a quality instrument, but I was sorely disappointed. First off, the build quality is terrible; it feels cheap and flimsy. The sound it produces is hollow and lacks depth, nothing like what I expected from a 'classic bass' model. Additionally, the drumhead tore after just a few uses, which is unacceptable for an instrument at this price point. Save your money and invest in a better darbouka from a more reputable brand."

Sala Muzik sold me a very good instrument, but I had ordered the wrong one. It was not Sala's fault, but they kindly allowed me to return the instrument and order the right instrument. It was a bit of a hassle for them, but they did it with patience and kindness and the instrument I bought is a very nice instrument at a very good price. I highly recommend this company and their products.

Just ordered my first oud. I live in New York City USA and in less then 7 days my order arrived. It was well packed and I got many updates while it was being shipped. The oud is great quality and a great price. Looking forward to shopping again . ☺️

An unreliable company to avoid.

I ordered an Electric Saz on this site, the instrument that came to me was not the one ordered, it was scratched, parts were missing and was low end.
Customer service is lousy, I sent the package back and it was never picked up by Sala Muzik and I never got a refund. Customer service does not respond.
This site is a fraud to avoid!

I got a santur stand they shipped immediately and got it overseas in three days. They responded to all my massages in few hours. They have great products and great service.

I ordered an Arabic Oud. The 608 dollars model.
After two months the oud palette broke without any fall as it was in my studio. I wrote to the customer service asking for a replacement and they replied they just give a 7 days warranted policy for this. I fixed it with my local guitar repairer and he also concluded it s very poor quality instruments and it was probably a glue quality problem. Very rude customer service as well from my experience.
