Beware – Very Disappointing Experience

I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this driving school.

Last week, my wife spoke to their office and agreed on a package costing £350, which included driving lessons and the use of the car for her driving test. After everything had been agreed, the instructor, Shazia Khan, unexpectedly asked for an additional £30. On the first day of the lesson, she took my wife to a cash machine and insisted on receiving the full payment in cash before the lesson continued.

We had clearly agreed that the lessons would take place in Isleworth, as that is where my wife's driving test was booked. Instead, the instructor took her to Southall and spent around two hours there unnecessarily. When my wife questioned this, she was told that the she did not have time to travel to Isleworth. She also admitted that she was not familiar with the Isleworth test routes, did not use a sat nav, and don't have one in her car and her car not have a reversing camera. This left my wife feeling uncomfortable and lacking confidence in the instruction she was receiving.

Because of this, my wife requested a partial refund rather than the full amount. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the instructor became rude and ended the phone call twice.

When I contacted the Sapphire office, I was given a WhatsApp number for Nadia, who I was told is the owner. After I explained what had happened, it was clear she already knew about the situation. She was extremely rude, told me that under no circumstances would we receive any refund, and then ended the call.

As a result, we were unable to find another instructor at such short notice, and unfortunately my wife missed her driving test today.

I have reported this matter to the DVLA and have evidence of our conversations and the payments made.

This was an extremely disappointing experience. In my opinion, the service was unprofessional, communication was poor, and customer concerns were handled badly. I recommend that anyone considering this driving school does thorough research before booking. Must not make any payment to them

I paid Sapphire Driving Academy £5,000 for what was advertised as a “Fast Track” Part 3 course, but my experience left me feeling completely misled and, in my opinion, scammed.

On my final Part 3 attempt, the school provided the pupil and instructed me how to run the lesson, only for the DVSA examiner to later state in the official feedback that the pupil appeared “too experienced” and that the lesson was inappropriate for the assessment. I failed my final attempt as a result, which seriously impacted my career plans.

Throughout the process, I was repeatedly assured by Nadia that everything was being handled correctly. After I failed, I was promised support and help moving forward, but instead I was later asked for even more money.

After trying to resolve matters directly and getting nowhere, I am now pursuing legal action to recover my losses.

I would strongly advise anyone considering Sapphire Driving Academy to research extremely carefully before committing thousands of pounds.

One of the best training school from start to End becoming ADI I was with Shappire and I was supported through out my journey would recommend to any one who wants to be a ADI

Had a great experience with Sapphire, good communication from the team and felt supported throughout the whole journey. Would highly recommend to anyone learning to drive or to become a driving instructor!

I recently passed my driving test with Saher at Sapphire with 0 faults as I have only been with Saher for the last 2 weeks! Would 100% recommend them, such a postive experience and couldnt be more grateful to her. Cant recommend her enough for the amount of support she has given me throughout, she is just amazing!!

I recently passed my ADI Part 3 on my first attempt thanks to Sapphire Driving Academy. The training provided was excellent and really prepared me for the test.

A big thank you to Nadia for the very helpful training sessions. Her guidance, clear explanations, and practical teaching methods made a huge difference in building my confidence and understanding what the examiners expect.

I’m also very grateful to Hamza, who supported me through all the mock tests. His feedback and encouragement were extremely helpful and helped me improve my performance before the actual test.

Overall, I had a great experience with Sapphire Driving Academy and would highly recommend them to anyone preparing for their ADI tests.

The amount of knowledge these instructors have is insane!! There’s no one like sapphire driving academy!

Seems another driving instructor doesn’t know or wish to follow the rules of the road. Purposefully they went in a right hand turn only lane at a junction, only to barge illicitly into the forward lane. Save your money and learn with a reputable driving school.

Alesan Rodrigues trained me very well... until the last minute he give me training and I made it on my 1st try ... i highly recommend the company and specially the driving instructor alesan very good trainer....

I can’t thank Zara enough for being such an amazing driving instructor! She’s incredibly patient, calm, and supportive, and she made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. Zara explains everything so clearly and gives you the confidence to believe in yourself behind the wheel. Thanks to her great teaching and encouragement, I passed my test first time! 🎉
If you’re looking for a professional, friendly, and motivating instructor, I can’t recommend Zara enough — she’s the best!

One of the driving instructors, Gee - is not reliable, always an excuse, late, caught up in traffic, I don't feel well,l am at the doctors for allergy, family or death in the family, and telling a child to meet him at a different location, aren’t the rules you pick your client at home, work or school depending on on planned, not because you live far, why take the client ? Also rules were never explained about cancellations and had a conversation with him, he was very rude & condesending making out like my child was stupid for cancelling ONCE when he had cancelled many times on her with near to no communication - she said she’s going to get on with her day because she had no responses for 4 hours from Gee and then suddenly he calls and says well ur not getting a refund because you cancelled on me. Paid up front and so many excuses came after, my child never got the lesson £75.00 never paid back.

He also claimed that he cannot pick up or drop off my daughter to Northolt, and today I saw another driving instructor from the company actually dropping two boys off to Northolt - if it’s okay for someone, why is it not okay for all?

I passed my Extended practical driving test today under the guidance of husband and wife team Adnan and Sophie. Adnan was my instructor and he has a good habit of reminding you were your faults are, so then I was able to avoid those mistakes in my test, which made me pass with just 3 minor faults. Thank you very much Adnan and I will be sending my daughter to you and Sophie for her driving lessons. Peace and love always guys

My instructor was FARDOS, I have no words to say thank you to her for what she was able to do in three lessons.she is a very calm person and a professional in her field, which is essential for a new driver , I passed my first exam, thanks to her . I was lucky to meet her and she helped me pass my exam successfully,I recommend everyones to take lessons with FARDOS. And thank you Sapphire driving academy
