Great night out!! Fab tribute bands, loads of great good & drink stalls. What’s not to like 😀👍

The festival itself was a little disappointing in size and selection but given the covid restrictions this was understandable. The music and chilli eating competition was great. Would’ve been nice to have a better selection of chilled drinks.

We have been to the Sausage&Cider on many occasions and if it is as good this year as my past fests, then we don't have a problem with enjoyment and being 100% entertained here.

Brilliant day with excellent bands I will be going again this year. Food was great too!

Have been to these events for some time now and every time we enjoy the day. Love the bands and live music with DJ's.

The only thing that I would say is the event to be more family-friendly...!

Perfect day out for all ages. So good to have something local with such a happy atmosphere from the moment the gates open. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Sausage and cider was a great event last year. Very well organised, bands were great, drinks were even better, and a great atmosphere. An overall great event, really enjoyed the evening.

Sausage & Cider Festival 21 was a fantastic experience and we can't wait to return again later this year. Excellent choice of drink and the sausages were amazing. Really good live band and a great day out.

Colchewter Castle Park was amazing last year, music was fantastic and event run really well will definitely go again

The range of food and drinks to choose from were great and some enjoyable live music and activities to take part in.

Had a great time drinking delicious Cider and eating delicious Hotdogs. The Atmosphere was great and Parklife we’re fantastic too. Considering the restrictions in place and the event being originally postponed, it was an awesome afternoon overall. I Danced Drank and ate as much as I could and it was the highlight of the year!!!

Had great time with large group of friends in Norwich. Really enjoyed the live Britpop band whilst enjoying a good range of ciders and tasty sausages. Fun watching chilli eating contest too

I went to the festival in Oxford last weekend and felt inclined to write a poor review throughout the entire experience (i don’t generally do this, so this is saying something). Just seen on Facebook the festival are offering free tickets to people in exchange for writing 5* reviews - don’t believe any hype. Notice everyone is rating 5* not a a single star less all this afternoon, following on from a shedload of 1* reviews?! Suspicious…

Me and my bf essentially spent £80 on 3x pints, 3x cans and 4x bratwurst.
Service at cider bar was good, but queued twice for sausages, longest taking about 25minutes.
Got to front of one queue to find they only had 2 of the 4 flavours left. They put no signs up or stopped advertising all 4 - just let people queue and find out at the end. This was at about 14:30 -2 and a half hours into the event- thought a literal sausage festival would be a bit more prepared?!

Was expecting some interesting flavours, maybe some samples - you literally may as well go to a Xmas market for free and just pay for a bratwurst or 2. Generic currywurst, bratwurst etc.

Don’t even get me started on the token money grabbing system! Tokens start at £30 for 12, then jump to £55 for 23 (prices go up if you purchase at venue on the day). It was not advertised how many tokens food would cost, so making your purchase was guesswork. Then they had the cheek to charge 2 AND A HALF tokens for a sausage. A half a token?! Come on!!! We bought 2 at a time, but I could guess that they don’t give people half a token in change!
Whole event was a poorly organised rip off - it would have got an extra star had the sausages been particularly tasty or interesting but they were nothing special whatsoever. I felt cheated that this is even named ‘sausage and cider’ festival!

Great evening at the Colchester sausage and cider festival, great choice of cider, brilliant bands and the best cheese toastie ever!!!!!

Went to the sausage and cider festival in Peterborough and had such a good time! Especially liked the prosecco stall and a good range of ciders. Lovely afternoon sitting enjoying the live music. Definitely back this year!

The sausage and cider festival was great! Such a good selection of food and drink (not just sausages and cider!)
Also, the live music was great. We went in a group of 8 and had such a lovely evening!
Will definitely be going again this year!!!
