Its all f*cked up. The cameras are good from the tec side. Can anyone hack the Software so that it works?

It is really too bad that Scenestek and Roger Zhu abandoned so many customers without notice or help of any kind! They could have at least open source the software so people could have some option to continue to use the product! These are very unprofessional people! Do not ever do business with them!

Scumbags left me with $1200 of now worthless equipment.

apparently they closed although they still have a web page and left us with no notice and no options … just woke up one day and they quit working - up until then they were perfect - zero issues and was considering adding a couple more
if anyone wants to start some kind of lawsuit - count me in

Had bought into the Scene system for six cameras because my Arlo system wasn't what I needed. Everything was good until the end of June 2024. Went on a short weekend away. Came home to a jimmied door. Went to the owl app to check the cameras. No response. Wanted me to sign up or sign in. Got the forever circle. Tried the internet for help. Sent several emails. No response. Looked up their support page. Unavailable! Help/frequent questions unavailable!!

The longkanker didn’t really work.
And now some couple of weeks unable to use app and use the camera’s
Support is nowhere to be found.
Seems like company is gone?

Hi everyone, I had sold my house in Feb and had to disconnect my cam to put into storage until I was able to purchase a new home. In any event, I just recently closed on my home and was trying to set up my cams…long and behold, nothing works. Luckily I found these postings because I thought it was just me.

It seems like we ALL are up sh** creek! Like many here, I had purchased half a dozen cameras with solar panels to charge when the company first came out. Now I have a few hundreds of dollars worth of paperweights.

I hope that someone could assist us all on holding these people accountable for their actions. It would be nice to get our money back, but I know that is wishful thinking.

Had 4 cameras for a few years and they were ok. Then suddenly around the middle of May this year, 2024, I was unable to pull them up.
Instead I got a sign up screen asking for email address and password.
After punching in the info nothing came up, just the dreaded spinning circle. They suck.

I'm giving it 3 stars because 3 is the mid-point between zero and 5. For me, it was 5 stars until the system stopped working a few weeks ago; it is now zero because (as others have said) the system no longer works and the company is not responding to customer's complaints.

My system stopped working also. I have 5 cameras with solar panels. No response from Scenestek customer service.

Just like everyone one else mine are now non functional. If anyone finds a hack let us know. That being said I just purchased the Swann max range and they are awesome plus $200 cheaper on the Swann website. Hope this helps.

This disgusting I have 4 cameras which are useless not happy..
Can we get our money back this is a joke and not fair for all of us who have purchased these cameras!!!!!
They should not be allowed to do this I now have to go and buy new cameras!! 😡

Has anyone contacted legal entities about this company walking away with all the money and no system left to use?

System went down and doesn’t work anymore. It’s too bad as it was a great system for several years. I have four cameras, all hooked up to solar. Well, at least they look good and may prevent a crime. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Apparently the company has closed and all support ended. The application necessary to run the cameras is no longer functional and there is no response to support requests. When working, I had no problems with the cameras once they were set up, however they are now useless and will need to be replaced.

Were OK until this month. As previous comments have said, everything is down and nothing is working.
So to anyone more computer smart than me... is there a way to use these cameras with perhaps a different system? Could they be used with perhaps the Ring Door camera system? Any help would be appreciated.

The company seems to be out-of-business. Their Support page displays an error. Their Live Chat (on their website) displays an email message form. I used it, but no response. Their Facebook page latest post is back in 2023.

I have 7 Cameras and three of them are outside and between 100 & 150 feet away from the Cube Gateway (up in the Attic of the house), and the cameras will NOT connect any longer. They did, initially, but over these last few months... not!

I have two indoor cameras that I can view through the App, but ONLY when I am on my own WiFi. I can never view any cameras when remote.

The iPhone APP no longer seems to be available in the AppStore for Apple.

Cameras were great and boom there all down can't get into the app ..tried to get ahold of customer service and no dice ..I paid alot for my cameras not to work ..need these ppl to get back to us so we can get cameras up and running or I want my money back...
