I wouldn’t shop anywhere else

I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. Being in the design industry, I have trade accounts with many different companies. Between the pricing I receive and the immediate support response time, this company is hard to beat. This is now my 4th order I’ve placed with Scout & Nimble over the past several months, and other than 1 of the several items I’ve ordered showing up damaged, that they immediately replaced, all other experiences have been better than expected. Thank you Hayley for the assistance today!

Not good....

Purchased the item in Oct and they had a promise date of November. Which turned into Dec. Which turned into Jan when they took payment. But that turned into Feb. Over promise and under deliver. No proactive calls. I reached out to some of the leaders there including the owners via social media. Nothing. Would never spend a nickel there. the worst on line purchase experience in my life.

Be warned

I ordered a bed on February 21st which was presumably in stock, and my credit card was charged immediately. I contacted customer service several times afterwards for an update and always had to leave a message (no one answers the phone) - I did receive an email response and was given a vague "late April" delivery date with the explanation that freight items take "6 to 9 weeks" for delivery. (Therefore be warned if you're expecting an in-stock item to arrive sooner than 2 months.) On March 15th the item status was changed to "backordered" and no one emailed me to advise - I had to find that out myself by going online. To date, I still have no idea if or when this will be delivered. This is no way to do business & I have no choice at this point but to cancel the order and request a refund. Unfortunately I have nothing to show for the six weeks I've invested with this company thus far, and have to start all over with another retailer. What a shame.
UPDATE: All I wanted was a delivery window, which this company claims it cannot provide. I canceled the order on April 3rd, placed a new order with a different company (who gave me an estimated delivery date without issue) and I have already received a new bed, with white glove service. (Yes, "mid" and not "late" April). Scout & Nimble, however, has not refunded my credit card to date (April 17) as it presumably takes them "10 to 15 business days" to do so. While I assume they'll act in good faith and refund me eventually, just note that the only speedy thing done here was the inital charge to my card. Everything else has been frustratingly slow. Again, you've been warned.

To clarify, your bed was in stock at the time of purchase and remained so throughout. It was actively processing for shipment and still on track for the late April delivery timeframe provided. Since this was a freight-shipped item, an exact delivery date wouldn’t have been available until the carrier contacted you once it arrived in your area.

That said, your feedback is invaluable, and we will continue working to improve our processes. We truly appreciate your time and consideration, and we’d love the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Seamless Replacement for damaged item

When I finally received a long awaited (back ordered) chair, it arrived damaged. SN replied to my inquiry and within the day, and a replacement was ordered. A representative updated me frequently on the status of the replacement order and even followed up after it was received. I always worry about return/exchange policies on furniture but SN couldn’t have made it any more seamless.

I’ve had the best experience with Scout every time. Both in person at their showroom and online!!!! Their team goes above and beyond to help, and the selection is always a hit. Had an absolutely horrible experience…

Had an absolutely horrible experience with this company. Ordered and paid for a coffee table. They took my money. Then several days later I received an email saying they canceled the order because they no longer had the item. They say for some unknown reason it will take 10-15 business days to give me back my money. It has now been 17 business days. No refund for an item they never sent. I’ve had to dispute the purchase with my credit card company to try to get my money back. Absolutely outrageous. Btw… found the table elsewhere for $1000 less than what these crooks were charging. Awful

We sincerely regret that your experience did our not meet expectations. In looking through the notes on your order, your refund was processed on February 25th. Depending on the method of payment used, refunds can take up to 10-15 business days to reach your account. In researching what has taken place here, it looks like you had filed a dispute with your credit card company prior to the refund hitting your bank account. Once a dispute was filed, the bank, in this case, Paypal, immediately places a hold on the funds until the dispute is resolved. We are working with Paypal and have let them know to release the hold on your refund and we are awaiting their response. We will email you as soon as we have a resolution from them.
We’re also glad to hear you were able to find the coffee table with another vendor and secure one of the last few available! Unfortunately, we do not stock this item in our own warehouse, and our supplier’s inventory had been depleted at the time of your order.
We completely understand how frustrating this situation has been and truly appreciate your feedback. If there’s anything else we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your customer care representative.

I order a dresser and upon arrival

I order a dresser and upon arrival, it was not what I was expecting. Reached out to support and the customer care team went out of their way to help me find a new dresser and get this one shipped back! I work in customer service myself and to say they care, they truly do! It was like talking to a friend to get a problem solved. Thanks Scout!

I really appreciate the response times…

I really appreciate the response times and transparency with customer service. It would be helpful if estimated delivery dates were more obvious at the time of purchase to avoid unnecessary confusion. Customer service was great.

Ordered a Four Hands Felix coffee table…

Ordered a Four Hands Felix coffee table on 11/6/24. My credit card was charged. It said 3-6 weeks for delivery. I Emailed 8 weeks later on 12/28 after receiving zero communication. They responded it would be another 3-6 weeks yet the mfg Four Hands says it’s in stock. So here we are mid February and on 2/8/25 and I sent another email without response. I’ll give 2 more days before I contact my credit card company.

I have to say Scout & Nimble we went over and above

I have to say Scout & Nimble we went over and above resolving issues with our back ordered dining chairs (we received 3 and 3 had to be backordered) , Paige keep us informed and when the manufacturer of our chairs closed and we could not get the 3 other chairs that were back ordered, Scout & Nimble accepted the return of the 3 chairs we had already receive at their cost, and Paige recommended another similar set of chairs at an excellent price. And we love the new chairs better than the first ones we received. I would defiantly do business with them again and I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.
