I’ve only been in CMB for three weeks and I’ve already landed a multi-seven-figure client using Sean’s reverse outreach system.

Most coaching programs I’ve joined teach useful skills, but fall short when it comes to helping you actually get clients. That’s what makes CMB different.

Sean has a clear focus on client acquisition, along with strong support in copy and marketing.

You’ll find organized step by step course’s to walk you through everything, from a civilian not knowing anything, to running an easy minimum 2-6k /mo freelance business in no time.

If he offers you email domination, you’d be crazy to turn it down. I promise you’ll regret it.

At the end of the day, if you’re looking for a course that actually teaches you and wants to see you succeed, you found it.

The only way you won’t succeed is if you’re lazy, sorry but the truth hurt’s.

I could tell from the beginning that it was different from any other I've taken.

Everything is well laid out and explained,
Step by step.

The coaches are very knowledgeable,
Sharing great information and how to execute it.

Still going thru it and every time I finish a module I get excited to see how the next one will keep building on the previous lessons.

I joined Sean Ferres’ CMB hoping for a serious step forward in my business, but I personally left disappointed and frustrated.

In my opinion, the content felt very similar to what’s already available for free on Sean’s YouTube channel. The main difference was access to group coaching calls — but unfortunately, many of those calls were scheduled during regular work hours, making it tough to attend if you’re still employed (which is ironic, considering it’s marketed as a “fire your boss” challenge).

Inside the community, I personally saw very little engagement from him — maybe a comment or two once a week. That lack of hands-on support didn’t align with my expectations, especially given the cost.

The program was $3,800 USD when I enrolled, and from what I observed, many of the success stories shared on social media were from members of his more expensive Resistance program (with price point getting the five figure mark), not necessarily from people in CMB. It gave me the impression that CMB was more of an entry point into the Resistance group than a complete solution on its own.

I also noticed that he would offer short free courses in exchange for testimonials. Now while this is not necessarily a bad thing, it does make me question the integrity of the rest of the reviews and testimonials I have seen. Have they all been incentivised?

The outreach strategies taught also seemed better suited to people who already had some kind of authority or credibility in their field. As someone still building up my presence, I struggled to implement them effectively.

They offer a guarantee of continuing to work with you with continued access to group coaching calls and feedback channels (that you have to pay additional money for).

Additionally, after leaving the program, I kept receiving emails and text messages from his team even after multiple attempts to unsubscribe. I eventually had to reach out directly to support to stop the messages — that felt pretty intrusive.

From my perspective, a lot of the program’s key elements are outsourced to hired coaches, especially in areas like copywriting and marketing strategy. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s worth knowing if you’re expecting direct coaching from Sean himself.

If you’re considering this program, I’d recommend researching all your options and being clear about what kind of support and content you’re expecting. For me, it didn’t deliver the value I hoped for — but others may have had a different experience.

Just ask yourself: if he is making more money teaching people a skill than what he is making from the skill itself, is he really a trustworthy source of guidance?

UPDATE: 20/06/25

After posting this review, I reached out to Sean privately to resolve the matter respectfully. Instead of taking accountability, he responded with gaslighting — implying I hadn’t tried hard enough, framing my experience as a personal failure, and suggesting I didn’t want to help myself. This was despite the fact I spent $6,000 AUD, attended every call I could (even during my day job), and spent months implementing the material. He dismissed my concerns as “pestering,” “utter nonsense,” and said I was “just here to whinge.” No refund was offered. He closed the exchange by stating he “won’t be engaging further.”

He also mentioned that the “daily wins posted in the wins channel are indicative of” the Ten Week Fire Your Boss Challenge as being a highly probably result.

The wins channel is very quiet. The last financial win I saw was the 12/06/25. Again, it was from a resistance member, not a CMB member. So to say that there are “daily wins” is straight up false.

Since then, others have reached out to me with nearly identical stories — refund requests ignored, polite messages met with insults, and paid content later uploaded to YouTube for free. One person even confirmed Sean offers free courses in exchange for reviews, which only reinforces the doubts I expressed earlier.

Another shared this with me directly:

“I did a very short course with him ages ago and it was EXACTLY the videos he posted on YouTube 3 days later. I went back and forth asking for a refund, and he ghosted — then sent insulting emails like, ‘You’ll never succeed in entrepreneurship by crying over a few measly dollars.’”

This isn’t just about my experience. There’s clearly a pattern here.

It’s coming to two years since meeting Sean, I’ve had my ups and downs but Sean has shown his consistency turning up for every call as well as providing actionable steps to be followed. I have been in other coaching programs and hands down this is the most hands on coaching experience I’ve had.

I have been following Sean for about a year and a half after finding him on YouTube when I was looking for client getting strategies. I liked his personality and was laughing out loud when watching the videos, so I was looking forward to more content from Sean and his team.
I finally joined CMB after watching the 5 day Client Getting Challenge a few months back. I figured: if this challenge is THIS GOOD for only 10 bucks, how great must CMB be then? And I was right. The in-depth videos about everything that has to do with e-mail copywriting and getting clients, it's all there. Then there's the weekly coaching calls with top-tier copywriters and with Sean himself, and last but not least: the community of fellow CMB-members is great.

I have bought way too many courses and paid for coaching, that's how I know: this program has it all. It's the best I've seen in the market (and again, I saw quite a few), so if you're on the fence: DO IT! And thank me later ;-)

Man... What can I say. I've known Sean for close to 10 YEARS. We went to uni together and he quit engineering 1 year in 😂 I'm now an engineer trying to get out. So who do you think won the game? I've been in the entrepreneurial space for close to that 10 years, but never seen or done a course like this before. It is INCREDIBLE. A-Z and in-depth explanations of self-optimisation, email-copywriting (even if you're a beginner), client acquisition and how to run a full-fledged business along with scaling. Brilliant. Would highly recommend.

The good:

- Got wayyyyy more than I expected. The tools, the resources, the examples, all of it.

- Extremely tactical. I’ve spent more than I would like to admit on courses and CMB is the best by far. Most courses are extremely vague and never share their “secret sauce”. But Sean holds nothing back in CMB.

- Group chat is dope. As soon as I hit a road bump, I can just shoot someone a text and I’ll get advice within the hour.

The bad:

From the start, Sean's team will take care of the beginning of your journey to success.

Let's start with the community that Sean built. It's something beautiful where everyone can get feedback on outreach questions about client interactions and more.

You have weekly calls with his copy chiefs to give you feedback on your copy so you will improve daily and get the confidence to pitch to future clients.

Sean and his team always provide the latest outreach methods and always give constant updates on what works best for the moment.

The course content, along with coaching, is the absolute top tier. All you have to do is put in the work.

Expensive program but by god is it worth it. Still have a ways to go but this program not only gives you a ton of value but teaches you how to get clients and a ton of ways to do it. They also teach you how more copywriting tactics, tons of resources, and a network of people to help you. Highly recommend

I was struggling to land clients, sending hundreds of emails and DMS with no success. Then I searched for outreach strategies on YouTube and saw some of Sean's content and surprisingly his free stuff was better than the stuff I'd paid for 🤣.

After implementing the lessons Sean teaches in his YouTube videos I saw that it works so I decided to join CMB and believe me the paid course is even better than you think.

The guy really knows how to land clients and is an overall cool and fun lad to work with. So if you're on the fence–make the jump and you'll thank yourself you did!
