Agree with all the 1 star reviews here. I noticed multiple $30 (approx) charges on my credit card and I have never never gone to their website nor registered there. My complete browser history does NOT show their website. I have no reason to use their website to search for people. From where did they steal my credit card information? If you call their tech support, you cannot talk to anyone. The recording states you can only contact this place by email. Our government should stop places like this because this puts a heavy burden on citizens and credit card companies.

When challenged, searchfinder could not produce any evidence that I used their website. My credit card company opened a formal investigation, and then, presented with the copious evidence, SearchFinder promptly reversed all the charges and gave full credit. My credit card company then issued a new credit card number which blocked SearchFinder from submitting new false charges,

SearchFinder is now doing all they can to reduce or eliminate the multiple one star reviews, and SearchFinder is manipulating TrustPilot just like they have manipulated innocent consumer victims. Many honest one star reviews and warnings are now missing from TrustPilot.

I truly believe that my bank has acquired that computer from the movie WarGames to do their bookkeeping, but that's no excuse to allow unauthorized charges to be paid out. I have reached out to Anonymous asked them to address this site, hopefully they will see these post.

Just like the other 1 star reviews, I have been charged multiple times over the last few weeks out of nowhere. They've attempted to charge me, without notification or permission, for over $170+ across at least 8 charges and have yet to respond to my email requesting a refund. I have never created an account or provided my card info on their website. What they are doing has to be illegal.

As of 6/14/23 they have flagged my review as, at first, an ingenuine experience. After providing my bank records, showing their charges, I was able to legitimize my review with trustpilot. Then they flagged it as being directed at the wrong company, which was false. Now they're flagging it as being defamatory. This company took money without permission, over and over, throughout the course of a few weeks. Stealing is taking without permission and without the intention of returning. Had I not caught what was going on, I don't believe they ever had the intention of returning my funds.

This is an absolute scam! Requiring a credit card should have been the first sign. Did one search at least a year ago, got nothing, so canceled immediately. Got confirmation of the cancellation.

All of a sudden this month 2 - $29.95 & 1 - $22.86 charges show up on my debit card. When I went to their site to make sure I had mistakenly not canceled, they had no record of my name, email or phone #, so there was no account in my name.

All they do is get credit or debit card info & wait several months & start debiting again. Three times in one month was a mistake on their part.

Unfortunately, when you cancel with searchfinder, you also need to cancel the card you used immediately, because they keep that info & will hit you with debits forever if you don't catch them.

Scam. I was informed of a small charge (maybe $1) which I authorized, but then didn't receive a real report. Then my credit card was charged some large amount (I think $179) which I disputed with my bank. Now, about 6 months later, I am seeing additional charges on my credit card from this same company ($22.86, $29.95) that I have never authorized.
