Fast fashion is a major contributor to global warming, loss of habitat, and unethical working conditions around the world and things just can’t continue as they are. Fortunately, there are many ways in which we, as consumers, businesses and communities, can turn this around. One of those ways, our way, involves a shift from sourcing resources from the natural world to waste. We offer an alternative to mass-produced cashmere by reinventing waste cashmere destined for recycling and landfill, to create reclaimed cashmere yarns, original designs and restored cashmere knitwear collections from celebrated brands. Desirable design, deliberate choices. The way we see it, both are possible. So with care and creativity, we want to spearhead a new way to make sustainable, luxury shopping possible. One garment had very small neat repairs which I had to hold up to light to see so very happy with that .

Fabulous Site
I found the selection photos loaded easily, the sections made sense, and the offerings were amazing. I had to keep taking items out of my cart, because I was going QUITE over my budget, but choosing which to let go of was pretty difficult! The sweaters I
received were all exactly as described, or perhaps better. I will absolutely be back for more!

A business I can really trust!
Second Cashmere are one of very few businesses I can honestly say that I trust. What they do and why the do it is so inspiring. Their attention to detail, especially when it comes to mending and conditioning preloved cashmere and their mending service of other peoples existing garments is exceptional as is their customer service and altogether ethos of the brand. Not to mention they sell the mending yarn if you want to try your hand at mending yourself. Why can't all businesses be like this one?

Great service
I had 4 jumpers that had holes at the elbows. We discussed the different ways of patching/fixing them. The repairs were great.
The jumpers came back beautifully wrapped and recorded delivery.
Really helpful and charming people there. I highly recommend them.
