Misleading fee, zero goodwill, 13 months of runaround

A year of complaints. Not one dollar back.

Seen charged me a $59 annual fee on my first statement, a fee I wasn't clearly made aware of when I signed up. I requested a refund multiple times, given the confusing marketing and my financial situation. Seen refused every time.

Over the next 13 months, I filed formal complaints with the CFPB, the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and the California DFPI. None resulted in a refund. Seen's official regulatory response stated the fee was disclosed in their January 2025 direct mail offer, but the disclosure clearly wasn't prominent enough for me as a consumer to understand what I was signing up for.

I'm not disputing that fine print existed. I'm saying that when a customer comes to you confused, financially stretched, and asking for a $59 goodwill refund on an account they barely used, a company with good values finds a way to make it right. Seen did not.

I wish relationships were this easy!

The ease of the process made it reassuring. I am grateful for an opportunity to raise my credit score. I love that I get an increase very soon. This just may be the easiest credit card that I ever applied for. Everything is well spelled out and terms are easy to understand. I wish relationships were this easy!

Worst card on the planet

Worst card on the planet! Genuine crooks with no integrity! I closed the account after 2 weeks. Attempted to use it and was declined due to the limit not being what I was approved for. I closed he account after this incident (2 weeks after having it). They charged $59 annual fee stating since the card was activated, I was to pay an annual fee. Very deceitful, shady organization. This company should not be allowed to be in business, STAY away from them!

Find a better card company

Find a better card company. This one is a joke and a half. I was sent a pre approval and was offered a credit limit that certainly did not match my credit profile. I may have had bad credit once before in life, but have spent the last 3 years rebuilding it, and have done so successfully. To hit me with a low credit limit, with high APR and annual fees is completely predatory type lending practices. This company is out to break your bank, not help you restore your credit.

Just got credit card and limit is only $400 $39/year fee

Just got credit card and limit is only $400 with $39/year fee but they say after one charge and then one on-time payment they will increase to $1000. Also they say after five payments they will increase limit but no number was given. So far no complaints.

I have not dealt with Customer Service…

I have not dealt with Customer Service so I can’t comment on that. But I love the website. It is user friendly being an elderly person. The information on it is very clear and not confusing at all. I like seeing my transactions immediately when I open the site. I also like that they post quickly.

I would not recommend this card to…

I would not recommend this card to anybody. If you have fraud charges they will not stand up to there responsibility and take care of it. Then they add them back and interest and put you over the limit then they want to send you a message telling you over the limit. If you are considering this card I advise you not to get it because it is kind of fraud

Cut them card !! Worst it'll make your life miserable

Do not I mean, do not get their card ! Closed this account and mind you I've never used it ! When I closed the account they'd still bill me for their stupid annual fees ! $59 bucks I paid them ! Once closed its still reporting to my credit report that I have a credit usage ! Lol $300 credit limit and it has a credit usage for what ? This people are the worst credit card of all times !!
