DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! My partner accidentally left his wallet in the car and got it back 24 hours later but all his cards and driving licence has been copied and used for fraud!!! this has all been reported to the authorities and I hope this company is closed asap
Do not rent from SelectCar. Even if you return the car spotless, fully insured and with a full tank, they will fabricate excuses at drop-off to charge you extra money.
- Fake GPS Fee: They tried to charge me for leaving their allowed zone, claiming they "lost the GPS signal", even though I stayed within bounds
- Unproven Speeding Fine: They demanded payment for an alleged speeding violation without showing any official fine, proof of speed or documentation.
They actively invent phantom charges to scam customers upon return. Rent elsewhere!!!!!!!
It's a scam- They will not be there during the drop off and then charge you $1000 euros for alleged scratches They will provide you with a fake invoice (prob the body shop they use to defraud people). I will be reporting them.
EURO 1000 FINE CHARGED. They took an imprint of our card, and charged after we left country, on day of return, despite having paid full premium insurance, and no damage on return. No communication or explanation. Have had to raise this with Mastercard, Albania Consumer Protection Commission (Komisioni i Mbrojtjes së Konsumatorit) and Tourism and Business Complaint Portal.
