This review is only ment for English speaking people in France. A warning, don't use Selectra
This review is only ment for English speaking persons living in France. WARNING, DON'T USE SELECTRA for help concerning the providers of energy, internet/TV/ (mob( phone etc. 6 important reasons to not seek their help: 1 They are only interest in concluding new contracts and drop you directly afterwards without any form of real help. 2 They advice only companies on which they deserves the best deal for themselves. 3 They don't keep their promises for support during the installation 4 I several times clearly mentioned that I don't talk French (yet) but they still adviced non English speaking companies. And since a lot of companies in France don't speak or refuse to talk English you are in big trouble afterwards. For example, they advice SFR for internet and TV (because they earn more on contracts) but know that there is only one English speaking provider, Orange. The problem is, you can't switch after you signed because of your contract. I tried a lot of ways to contact SFR but this is completely impossible, everything is 100% French so you don't know what to do. And I needed the helpdesk for several problems. 5 They don't take responsibility and 6 They don't answer your e-mails (afterwards), they are only quick to respond in the preliminary stage because they want to sign contracts.
I asked Selectra to help me because it was their fault to advice SFR instead of Orange. Result, they hang up the phone several times and refused to send an e-mail or call SFR for help. Also the SFR mechanic broke an outside lamp but did not took the responsibility to repair it, but that's another thing. My advice, again, don't use Selectra but go directly to Orange for TV/Internet and (mobile) phone and choose EDF as your energy supplier. It is totally not necessary to ask Selectra for help.
