Communication was really good throughout the whole process. They were responsive, clear, and easy to work with, which made everything run smoothly. Customer service was also very good — any questions or small issues were handled quickly and professionally. Overall, it was a positive and straightforward experience.

Service premium, clair et fiable (Shopify + suivi au top)

Très satisfait de Selfnamed. L’intégration du laboratoire à Shopify est fluide, et surtout bien documentée : on comprend vite, on avance vite, sans perdre de temps.

L’accompagnement est vraiment un point fort. Laura suit le dossier avec sérieux et répond à chaque question avec une vraie qualité de réponse : réactivité, précision, et sens du service — exactement ce qu’on attend d’un partenaire professionnel.

Côté produits, la qualité est au rendez-vous. Seul petit bémol : le studio sur le site peut parfois être un peu lent, mais rien de bloquant.
Je recommande sans hésiter.

Where do i begin

Where do i begin, i wish we saw those reviews before we signed up and invested our time and effort to build a brand. Since the beginning costumer service is non existent, they won’t respond you in weeks. They have AI handling your questions and give you generic answers, at the end AI will offer to connect you to the live person and someone would be in touch within 24 hours, that won’t happen, after few days you will follow up on that and again you would get an answer that someone will be in touch within 24 hours. We had placed our first test order on the 15th of January and surprise surprise, app is not automatic like some reviews mentioning it here, your inventory won’t update automatically so you better get use to go and check whole catalog to see what is out of stock or back in stock, also if costumers place an order it doesn’t sync automatically with selfnamed you have to manually click request fulfillment in Shopify, so if you grow and have a lot of orders there gonna be a lot of issues. Anyway order was submitted on January 15th and on January 16 it changed status approved and in printing shipping date January 19th. That didn’t happen, on the 20th it was still showing in printing and will be shipped on 19th, when we contacted them again and ask AI where is my order you will get response that it’s in printing and scheduled to dispatch on January 20th . Today is 21st and surprise, still in printing no shipping now AI saying it’s delayed but shipping dates are estimated anyway, good luck explaining it to your costumers. Having good quality products is one thing and it’s not everything, bad costumer service and delays plus carelessness will destroy your business and your reputation. All those 5 or 4 stars reviews must be an exchange for some promo or discount, especially the one saying about great costumer service, it may be great if you get a chance to actually speak with someone, we didn’t get that chance as of yet, and it’s been weeks since we send them first questions or concerns. Very frustrating
On top of it all, they just adjusted their prices up by 20-40% and prices of shipping by 40% with notice on the day they adjusted it. I never see this big of a price adjustments period, usually it’s 5-10% max and company will give you about 30 days notice.

Regarding the manual sync issues you mentioned with Shopify integration, we appreciate you highlighting this. While our system does have automation features, we recognize they may not be working as seamlessly as they should, and we're actively reviewing our integration performance.

Your test order delay is particularly concerning, and we want to be transparent: we're currently experiencing delays due to improvements we're making at our US fulfillment centre. We expect operations to return to normal within the next 2 weeks. We understand how difficult it is to manage customer expectations during this transition, and we should have communicated this proactively.

Regarding pricing: we provided a week's notice before implementing the price changes, though we understand this still felt abrupt given the adjustment amount. We recognize this has created challenges for your business planning.

To address your concern about reviews: we do not offer incentives or discounts in exchange for positive reviews, as this violates Trustpilot and other platform policies. Our positive reviews reflect genuine customer experiences, just as your feedback reflects yours. We take all feedback seriously, whether positive or negative.

Dont use Selfnamed if you want a serious brand

The customer service has been extremely disappointing and is not suitable for brands that aim to grow and scale.

When ordering products in quantities above 2,500 units, it is stated that different packaging options can be selected. However, the process of arranging this is unnecessarily slow, and it often takes an excessive amount of time just to receive a response.

Due to this lack of professionalism, we have decided to switch to another production company. There is no dedicated account manager, no clear point of contact, and customer support offers very limited assistance. This setup may work for very small brands, but it is not adequate for serious, growth-oriented businesses.

Additionally, products are sometimes discontinued without prior notice, meaning they go permanently out of stock without any communication. This makes it impossible to plan production, launches, and inventory properly.

They also send emails announcing discounts valid until a specific date, but these discounts often end before the stated deadline, which disrupts our planning, ordering, and production processes.

Overall, I do not recommend working with this company. The level of professionalism is insufficient, and the shipping timelines they promise are frequently not met.
