What first sold me on this company was the creation of my book cover. From the very beginning, they truly understood my vision and brought it to life in a way that exceeded my expectations. I provided them information and pictures, and they came up with a cover that captured the community that meant so much to me and my family. So many of my family members have commented on how much it reminds them of Winona, which means the world to me. I have received comments from Facebook friends from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and people of Finnish heritage who were excited to read the book.

When I spoke with one of my editors, I could tell he read the book because he could provide details of what he believed would be of high interest to other readers. That interview showed in the summary they provided for the book cover.

I had worked with another company and felt cheated. I paid for things that were never provided, and they made incorrect edits that were often incorrect grammar. Self Publishing LLC honored my edits and listened carefully to my feedback throughout the process. They took my ideas and turned them into the exact cover I had imagined.

Great experience for authors building a real brand, not just one book

Review:
My experience with Self Publishing LLC has been great—especially once they really understood my goals. I wasn’t focused on becoming a “number one” bestseller or chasing hype. My priority is building a long-term book brand and a real publishing relationship, and they respected that.

Robert made the process feel personal and supportive—more like working with family than a typical service provider. That matters a lot, especially for startup authors who are paying for everything out of pocket. Too many publishing companies push expensive marketing packages that end up hurting authors financially after their first book. That was not my experience here.

My focus is creating a series of books with long-term impact, and they understood and supported that vision. I also really appreciated the “one-shop” package—they handled everything in one place, and the illustrations they put together were amazing. The quality of the work and the convenience of having it all done in one place made a big difference.

Overall, I felt heard, supported, and respected as an author building something for the long run.

I am a retired teacher of 35 years, K-2, last 20 years in kindergarten. I feel like I’ve been writing forever. One day, I decided to go for self-publishing after so many trips to send out my manuscripts and wait for months to get the “no thank you”: We only publish “this many a year”…. “Your book is too long, not our genre, you’re not established” etc. I found Self Publishing LLC and it’s been the best since the first day. This was November 2025. Today is only January 24, 2026. I have my first book: Goldifox and the Three Hares just out on Amazon (and other options) and additional books I’ve written are in work. The illustrations are beautiful! The book is beautiful! My website is under construction: JudyBerk.com is looking good! Robert and team created my author page to include me with my characters and my own three rescue furbabies; it’s adorable! Next books: Hug, Hug, Ladybug and Goldifox 2: What Really Happened with Goldifox and the Three Hares, the True Story (the sequel!) followed by others including a super sleuth series of the three hares lovable drooly mutt: Droolius Cheester. How this happened: the team at Self Publishing LLC put me in touch with Robert Graham who is such a good listener. Robert keeps in contact all the way as new stories and characters expand. Best time of my life ever! If you are wondering: should I? Shouldn’t I? Just do it! I’m so excited everyday!

Knowledgable staff. Personal guidance and encouragement was and is provided for me as a new author. My book in it’s entirety is amazing 🤩 Robert self confidence and encouragement to launch the book as many distributors helped to see bigger picture and social media ad’s from Sasha for the book were so well done 👍

To say Robert is good at his job would be an understatement . Not to say Tyler wasn't great as well.There was never a question too small to ask. Most of my book was written by the time I got in touch with them, so they were super helpful with those last steps. I hope to work with them and Kindle again in the future . I can only imagine the process would be smoother again. Being hydrocephalic and bipolar manic I cant imagine I was the easiest to work with.
