I've been using SelfTax for my Self Assessment tax returns for a couple of years and the software is easy to use, user-friendly and fantastic value.

What impressed me most, however, was the customer service. I recently needed confirmation that my tax return had been submitted through the software and accepted by HMRC as part of an apostille application. A company director responded promptly with exactly the information I needed, which was incredibly helpful. It's reassuring to know there's knowledgeable, responsive support behind the software when you need it. Highly recommended.

Easy interface to use and staff very helpful. Adam was able to check through my forms and submit my self assessment. Will use again in future, very straightforward

It is super shady that they are asking for my HMRC gateway login details. It clearly says on the HMRC to NEVER share these details.
I have 2FA enabled on the account so risked it.. submission did something though I can't view any change on HMRC. I changed my password afterwards to be sure. BaseTax never asked for my login details.

I had to submit via third party since HMRC did not provide an option for residence, remittance basis etc.
It was easy and cheap

Worked perfectly for me the first time I submitted my return, though I was sure of my gov gateway ID and password. Really useful service for a great price. Thank you for offering it. I personally would much prefer to submit a return direct to HMRC, but since they no longer allow businesses like mine to do so, this was the next best thing.

Would not submit to HMRC despite HOURS of going round the houses checking UTR's, Gateway ID, passwords. After some very lazy 'help', they suggested I pay them more money to use an enhanced service. I know the details were correct, and feel I was being ripped off. I refuse to pay extra. Rip-off.

I would highly recommend and wouldn't use anywhere else for my Partnership online tax return.

I used SelfTax as they were one of the software providers listed on the HMRC website. I subscribed for the premium service to help me ensure I was doing everything correctly. I had a few queries which Adam from the Selftax team resolved very quickly every time. I highly recommend the premium service and I will be using SelfTax again in the future.

Used SelfTax for the first time to submit partnership SA800 form this evening and have to say the service was exceptional - highly recommended. Matt
