Gem of a business selling an eclectic selection of well set up, higher end instruments, amps and pedals. Very friendly and knowledable team, on site technicians, no pressure, no fuss and with a very transparent trade in/p/x policy. In short, an honest to goodness guitar store.

Took my Fender trade in for a very good price and a gave me a further p/x discount on an already fairly priced ES335.

Although their courier service is something to consider, I would recommend a visit in person as place itself is packed full of the kind of stuff you dont see often.

I'd not heard of sellusyourguitar.co.uk but they had a second hand instrument that's relatively rare and relatively. It was a good price and with free postage so I placed my order. It arrived 24 hours later, very well packed and fully working. A+

Offered slightly less than other online stores, but added bonus of picking up guitar and taking on the liability that goes with courier services...

Rest went smoothly and once they had received my guitar they paid amount as promised and same day (again as promised) - will use again.

I needed some work done on my jazz guitar. I drove up to the store in Ashton and - though I hadn't expected this - the work was actually done while I waited. The repair was skilfully done and the price was incredibly reasonable. The staff are really nice - and very helpful. The stock of guitars for sale is amazing!
In summary, I'm incredibly impressed by this company.

I bought an Epiphone Firebird from SUYG and I was delighted with the service I received. The price was great, the only one I’ve seen listed for under £500. The description was very thorough, they mentioned a finish chip on the bout that took me about ten minutes to find, just in the top layer and not through to the wood. The guitar arrived quickly and was very securely packaged. Communication was good all the way through, too. Excellent all round, definitely recommended.

Used the online form to request a valuation for my guitar. The reply I got back was to ask how much I want for the guitar and we can sell it for you at commission. No valuation given - which was the whole point. None the wiser and will have to have it valued somewhere else. Pointless really.
Also they messaged me to try and get me into removing my review above. Avoid!

Ordered my Fender Stratocaster HSH together with a Fender hard case on Saturday and it arrived extremely well packaged this morning. Guitar and case are like new and just as described by SUYG. This has been a brilliant experience from start to finish and I will certainly be buying from this company again. 5 stars.

This is a really good service for people who have a guitar to sell but don’t want to deal with any of the hassle or risk of selling privately.

They were up-front about the fact that their offer would be about 2/3 of the expected resale value, but they arrange all of the packaging and courier service. For the price bracket my guitar was in (a little under £1k), I was happy to take this offer. Received the agreed upon amount in my bank account the day after the courier collected the guitar.

I’ve never bought a guitar from them, but I can say that their description on the site of the guitar I sold to them is accurate (photos highlighting very minor scratches etc), so I’d have confidence doing so in future.

I had my Gordon Smith in storage for 35 years, beautiful guitar (owned it for 43 years), I only play acoustic since 1991 on a semi pro basis owing to tinnitus, still playing gigs today. So after not touching the guitar for all those years it comes to a point where she needs to be played and the decision made to let her go. After speaking with and emailing a few shops and searches, I came across these guys.
Was a bit sceptical at first, but anyway read the reviews, due diligence etc. They came back with an offer which I accepted and the service was excellent. They paid out within a few hours of the guitar arriving, no hassle, very straight forward. I think if your are honest with these guys, give them a good appraisal of your instrument, you'll be fine. Leting the guitar go was dificult, as I played 10 years worth of gigs with it. Great communications, contract really easy, works for you and them, very fair.
