Kan iemand vertellen hoe we van dit verschrikkelijke abonnement af kunnen komen?

Met de bevestiging van 1 cent ben je de pineut.
Vervolgens halen ze nu voor de tweede keer 49,90 van mijn rekening zgn abonnementskosten waarop onbekend, welke niet eens bevestigd zijn. Met geen mogelijkheid van af-opzegging. Je weet niet eens waarvoor.
Bij opzegging reageren ze absoluut niet. Ook in meerdere talen niet. Telefoon hoef je niet te proberen. Oplichters gevestigd in Cyprus

This is a so-called subscription trap involving dark patterns. Through a misleading website, you roll into an expensive monthly subscription, and cancelling is extremely difficult.

SeminarEdge.com is a fraudulent party. Behind this is the company BE SEEN SOLUTIONS LTD, registered in Cyprus by Sa'ad Joseph RAZOUK (a convicted fraudster from the UK who founded dozens of Ltds).

How it went: During an online search for sheet music, accidently clicked away something, and through this it signed you up for a subscription for an unknown service without you ever having consciously agreed to it, and subsequently deducts money from your bank account via Apple Pay.

First, a reservation is made on your account, then € 0,01 is deducted (perhaps serving as a test to see if your bank is up for it – Rabobank refused, but ASN Bank allowed it to happen), and then a debit of €49.90 follows.

Then, you demand via their email address that SeminarEdge.com cancel the subscription and refund the amount, to no avail. No reply whatsoever. Subsequently, you have to use your powers of persuasion to get your bank to catch this fraudster. Good luck, folks! But success is not yet guaranteed in our case!

Dit zijn ordinaire criminelen! Reageren nergens op, maar stelen alleen geld van je rekening zonder iets te voegen.

Exactly the same experience as everybody else here. Fraudulent business. Reported to bank and authorities. Unable to contact them by phone or email. Absolute scam. Their whole front of providing seminars is false. I bet there is not a single bit of content on that website. It is all about luring people in by €0,01 through a deceiving pop up while you are on a legit webpage or webshop, making you think it's that website's pop up. In fact, you are all of sudden signed up with this fraudulent "company".

Bij PLTS Westblaak in Rotterdam beweerde de vrouw achter de balie (middle aged, blond, die staat er vaker) dat ik een QR code moest scannen om aan te melden voor de Summer Challenge.

Bij het scannen van de QR code kwam ik uiteindelijk op een betaalpagina van dit bedrijf seminaredge. Vrouw achter de balie bevestigde dat dit klopte.

Achteraf werd het duidelijk dat dit totaal niet met elkaar te maken had.

Via mailcontact heb ik gelijk alles stopgezet van het abonnement waar ik zonder weten me voor heb aangemeld.
De €0.01 euro wordt gebruikt om automatisch incasso mogelijk te maken. Vervolgens zit je in een 28 dagen trial period die automatisch verlengd wordt. Als je dit niet op tijd stopzet trekken ze gelijk €50 euro van je rekening af.
Hun algemene voorwaarden zijn zo geschreven dat zij volledig niet verantwoord zijn voor dergelijke situaties als deze. Genoeg bellen en rinkels om henzelf te beschermen tegen situaties die volkomen onlogisch zijn in normaal bedrijfsbeleid.

Als een bedrijf zich zo opstelt om mensen zich aan te laten melden voor hun services, waar de betalende andere partij volkomen onwetend is van het feit dat er een betalingsplicht is aangegaan, dan mag wat mij betreft de personen achter het bedrijf de bodem van de zee zien.

Het houd je alert voor in real life pharming. Ofwel phishing met een beter front (de vertrouwelijke balievrouw die waarschijnlijk onwetend is dat ze eraan meedoet)

Oplichters , ik heb op geen enkele manier me aangemeld, er is 49.90 € van mijn rekening afgeschreven

AVOID SeminarEdge – unexpected subscription charge.

I signed up for what appeared to be a simple €0.01 verification payment for a fitness app, through SeminarEdge.com. At no point was it made clear to me that this would result in a recurring subscription or a €50 charge.

The next day, €50 was taken from my account by SeminarEdge without my clear consent. I have searched everywhere for a way to cancel this supposed subscription: there is no confirmation email, no visible account, no subscription information in my app store, and no accessible cancellation method.

I have also tried to contact the company, but there appears to be no reliable way to reach them.

I am now having to spend time contacting my bank and taking further steps to prevent additional charges. A company should not make it this difficult for customers to understand, cancel, or dispute a payment.

Be very careful.

They’ve just tried to Mandatory to $40 but the payment declined by Apple Pay.

A Pop-up appeared on my smartphone while shopping online and I was asked to transfer €0,01 to an account, which I thought was from the online shop. However it was from Seminaredge. Never heared of them. The next day € 49,91 was withdrawn from my bankaccount without my permission. I sent them 2 message to ask chargeback, but no reply. My bank can’t help. Semiaredge is FRAUD.

Ik ging een handleiding downloaden voor oude wasmachine ik moest € 0,01 betalen dacht dat t daarvoor was maar de volgende dag is er € 49,91 gereserveerd dat staat er nog maar gisteren middag is er € 49,91 afgeschreven is schijnbaar betaald met een soort pas kon niet Soneren bank de hele week gebeld die konden niks bewind gebeld die kan ook niks doen

Ik zocht een mp3 file, er werd verzocht 0,01 euro over te maken. Vervolgens zag ik dat er 49,90 is afgeschreven van mijn betaalrekening. Pure fraude !!!!

this is obviously a fraudulent outfit. They have tried to take money off me as well, unauthorised of course.
Thanks to the folks here, I managed to put a block on them before they tried to steal from me.
I still want a £0.02 refund for an app I was trying to download.
You guessed it: no download and a site that was not recognised!

Seminaredge.com created an unauthorised subscription deducting money from our account. It appears related to an online purchase from Pawlax, who state they share customer info with business partners.
