Bad experience
Bad experience !!! Promising to rewrite the CV they changed format and check spelling and it took 5 working days. Deleted half of my experience…why?!?!?. I don’t believe they can rewrite CV or at least not for my profession as they know nothing in my view. Apparently i have to spend lost of time telling them what to rewrite on my CV. AVOID. I asked for a refund as obviously not gonna use it, my original cv gives better details about my experience. But they refused to refund.
Update: no proper complaint procedures
In overall company seems unprofessional. Unpleasant experience.
P.S. for the company: I’ve stated in the email that i do not with spend more time telling you what to write in my cv. I can do it myself. In regards to formatting there are number of different formats!!! I regards to American word you found in the CV - are you joking?? Where is beautiful writing CV that shows my experience and achievements???? You deleted half of my experience from your version!!!!!! You cannot even explain why. In terms of timing- you did not complete your job and even nowhere near within timescale. I am very sorry but your service is terrible!!!

Anna, we are sorry that you feel this way, however, as explained in our emails today, we confirmed exactly what we were to do with your CV to include a rewrite and new design to improve the response rate from recruiters and employers, however since receiving your new CV completing re-written wording, a new skills section and brand new profile summary, you seem to disagree with us as professionals with proven knowledge that your new CV will indeed benefit you in comparison and you refuse to even give your new CV a try before fully understanding this benefit. We have refused a refund as we completed the service within the description and also the timescale within our terms and conditions in the invoice to allow up to 7 working days within our busy months including October. Your CV was completed within 4 days of receipt of payment and not 5.
Since receiving your new CV, you then explained that you changed your mind and wanted to keep your previous layout, despite agreeing to our comments before we sent the invoice out to change this layout.
We feel this is an unfair review of our service and we have even offered to amend your CV free of charge to suit your new requirements, despite you not even 'test running' your new CV, however you don't seem able to comply. Therefore we have exhausted every option in helping you further, though your service has not been completed in error and we do not see a reason to issue a refund in your case.

As the Founder of the business, it is myself that does the investigation and the highest escalation.
I have discussed with the CV writer too and gone through our email correspondence before coming to any conclusion.
Your new CV has a much cleaner and aesthetic appeal with a professional layout and the addition of colour to enhance its appeal for recruiters and employers. It also includes a much more advanced profile summary and a key skills section.
In addition to this, the layout clearly breaks down the sections allowing for enhanced wording within your daily duties. There is no need to include duties for every role as employers only tend to look through the three most recent roles. Also your roles are consistent in the job title but later in company name, therefore your job duties will have been very similar, though you may have dealt with a new project or client. This is usually explored at interview stage instead as a CV only has a lifespan of up to 7 seconds on an employer to decide if you're fit for a role or not.
With this in mind, I do agree that the CV Writer has actually carried out the service correctly and has improved your CV in many ways and therefore I have come to the conclusion that, in this instance, a refund is not warranted.
I can however make any amendments you wish and I do strongly recommend that you at least try use the new CV to see the results as they may surprise you.
I am once again sorry that you feel this is not the service you had hoped, but our team are all from recruitment backgrounds and write CV's with their professional knowledge from years of rapport building with employers, as well as proven abilities to write CV's, as seen in our other reviews. You are our first 1 star review and we are saddened to receive this, especially before you even gave the document a chance.
I want to wish you all the best in your job search and I am sorry we couldn't agree on the end solution today.

Although the service was very quick
Although the service was very quick, they kept getting the information I had supplied wrong and in the end I had to re write all myself. I did confirm great as I needed the CV and cover letter and did not have time to keep going back and forth. They kept making the wrong reference which I brought to their attention twice, but they still didnt change it
