I have had dedicated server with ServerPronto since 2014. That's 10 years to this day. I went with then because they were the cheapest at the time. I ignored all the bad reviews, as they were all to do with the billing side of things. The only billing issue i had/have is with their Credit Card payment system. You actually need to contact them each time you wish to modify your stored Credit Card details.
I've had many issues with the actual service they provide. In the early days, one of our servers was disconnected. Apparently the network cable fell out! Sometimes they perform an upgrade or reboot for whatever reason and never once did they contact me to say this was happening. I've had problems with the IPs they supply being blacklisted, and also one site was getting spam so they decided to disconnect the server! I removed the contact form people were using to spam and that wasn't good enough for them. I had to remove the site ( later on I put it back without email abilities ). So the biggest problem I had was they don't seem to care if the servers go down or not.
Oh support was pretty good. If you need a reboot, they respond almost immediately.
I've written this review as I've migrated one of my server away from ServerPronto due to it being on old hardware and running old software ( yup from 2014! ).
I was a bit worried about closing this account so I emptied my Credit Card and then submitted the cancelation form. And wow, no issues, the service was closed! I have not received a bill for the service I don't own :) So I thought I'd write this review as I have had ok service from them, and the billing has been fine.
I still have a one dedicated server with them .... it's still going well.
Before choosing Serverpronto over the numerous other server farms available, be aware that Serverpronto is also known as FortaTrust, a notoriously bad operation that provides both poor service and machines and has very dubious billing practices (Just search TrustPilot for fortatrust (dot) com or simply Google it and you will get the idea - in a nutshell, even after you cancel your service, they keep billing your card). We were an original customer of Serverpronto when it renamed itself Fortatrust a few years ago. Now, suddenly, we are getting SPAMmed by Serverpronto reborn. They are both still using infolink.com email addresses, so are obviously still connected. So if you are thinking about using Serverpronto, and probably Infolink, then before doing so, read the plentiful reviews from past customers online and think again.
You get what you pay for, good chat support and fast handling.
When I had to cancel the server I had to pay for one more month?! Why?! They've never told me that at any time, any place!
