Scam, waste of money.

Scam. Scam. Scam. Suppliers are all worthless and total waste of money. This guy Henry who seems to be in charge of customer service is the least helpful guy in the world. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Sewport, at least act like you care about your customers for f sake.

This platform is a total scam!

This platform is a total scam!! Do not trust or give any money to sewport or any of their manufacturers. Once they collect your money upfront sewport is not liable for any misunderstandings(scams). The manufacturers promise great products and fast delivery dates but you get nothing in return for your money but empty promises! ALERT BIG SCAM!!!

Absolute scam!!

Absolute scam!!
They used my account details even after I did not authorise a subscription. I saw multiple deposits of $0.70 until they took out more!! They then cancelled my login and so I couldn't even go in to cancel it myself!! Pathetic excuse of a business.

You have no freedom of communication on this platform, its like they own you. You cannot give your phone number or have a skype conversation with the manufacturers, you cant pay using the platforms that you want.
Total control on what you say.
Just like High School!!
And they charge you monthly fees.

Do you want a brand or are you just here for a quick few t-shirts?

I am yet to actually get a product from the manufactures. However I think using Sewport comes down to one thing; do you actually want to build a brand, or are you just looking to make a quick few t-shirts. If it is a quick few t-shirts than go somewhere else as this would be a waste of money. If you want to build a brand than yeah DEFO worth it. They have advice on making a brand, links to loads of companies (I have been talking to 8 different manufactures on the first day of being on here and they all seem to been able to work with my rather niche requirements), and a good interface. So up to you, but if you are really interested in this industry then yeah give it a go.

STAY AWAY

BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE CHARGED ME 3 DAYS AFTER MY TRIAL ENDED AND HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT ON THE PHONE REPEATING THE SAME STUPID WORDS 100% WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAY AWAY

This is called stealing, Subscription Trap

I paid £225 for a service that I never had and they have prove of this! However, they refuse to give it back to me.
12 months ago I created an account using the free trial offer. I was on their website for one day as I saw that this was not suitable for what I was looking at that moment, then, I never went back to Sewport again and I complete forgot about this company. However one year after this issue, an unauthorised payment pop by my bank account and for my surprise... It showed that they took money every month! The suspicious part is that I never received any email from them, I never saw any invoice, any payment reminder or any kind of information from them to me, regarding what they are doing in the full 12 months... The last email from them was the same week I did the mistake to sign in to their website... They do know very, very, well what they are doing.
This is the wrong side of the industry and I am embarrassed to see business inside this industry taking advantage of people.
I never experienced something like this before. Also, I never made a complaint before, however this situation crossed all the limits of respect and trust between professionals, am in shock.
I will definitely not recommend Sewport to no one. If I had read the bad reviews and complains that this business have before I could sing in... I will definitely remove them from my list.
We need a change, we need a more clear, fair, loyal, legal and conscious place in the clothing manufacturing industry. Enough hard it is already to find the correct manufacturers, and then Sewport dodgy subscriptions comes to steal from you. Lets see if Sewport can open the eyes, my money don't belong to you as I never used your website/services. This is called stealing!

i signed up to the free 7 day trial and they took 5 dollars from my account, so its not really free then is it?? the whole thing is a scam
And then they put you on their premium plan without finishing the trial

The charge you mention is a standard verification charge that is immediately refunded. This payment is instigated to ensure that the payment information provided is correct.

The 7 day free trial does offer all customers 7 days of free access to our services.

Sewport has poor ratings for a reason.

I used the free trial period, and extended my account based on a huge reduction in the subscription fee as I was interested in browsing the platform for future use. The subscription automatically rolled over to £18.75/month. I contacted Sewport only a few days after noticing the payment for them to simply state 'all subscription fees are non-refundable'. It should be evident from my account that there has been no activity for weeks. A short-sighted refund policy which will only put off prospective customers. Avoid where possible.

Brands often use our 7 day free trial to test out our services. Many find it an essential tool for their business but some find it's not quite what they're looking for and so cancel within the 7 days which means they do not get charged for using our services.

We can see that you chose not to cancel the free trial, hence why you were charged the standard subscription fee as advertised on our pricing page.

It's no more than a dodgy business

Be careful, I tried to 7-day trial period to have a look and it then converted automatically (with no warning email) into a paid premium membership... That's a very very poor customer experience.

Now I'm fighting to get the equivalent of 5 months worth of subscription back but I'm facing a chatbot that uses the "it's in the Terms & Conditions" excuse over and over. I'll have my lawyers check this out.

Very sad to see there are companies taking advantages of dodgy/sneaky T&Cs & UX/UI to make money. But maybe they actually need that to be profitable... who knows

Customers regularly take advantage of our 7 day free trial to try out our services. Whilst many consider our platform crucial for their business, some realise it’s not quite right for them and so cancel within the 7 days meaning they do not get charged for using the platform.

Our rolling subscription system means customers are free to cancel anytime they wish for no charge.

We can see that you chose not to cancel the free trial, hence why you were charged the standard monthly subscription instalments as outlined on our website.

A huge disappointment as I wanted to ask guys for helping sourcing material to produce masks for the NHS and they would not allow this because everyone needs to sign up and leave their CC details because "they have also running costs of the platform" - i think what the guys failing to understand that the entire country is going to melt, and because of behavior like this, we may not be able to produce masks for the NHS for FREE - cause they want my £18.95 a month. Well done guys!

BEWARE

If you send a manufacturer a payment through the platform over a limit, you will have to transfer the funds to Sewport's escrow account (then they will release the funds to the manufacturer). Plan to have the escrow process take MONTHS.

Also, every time I try and type "email" on the chat to my manufacturer, the platform automatically inserts "Hey! Let's communicate only here, through Sewport.
This reduces the risk of scams and fraud and gives us additional escrow payment protection!
It's not safe to communicate outside of this website. I really mean it."

This platform is a total joke. I will be getting off the platform as soon as I can transition.

Perfect business service of Sewport platform!
I am a member manufacturer since the beginning of 2018 and I found new customers in 1-2 months

The platform is easy to use, the communication goes very well. The support is very helpful and really fast in replying.

The payments are organized perfectly through the Sewport platform and the transfers are executed in a good timing. Mazzio clothes

I approached SEWPORT with a design and they ignored me, were rude and gave me no constructive response whatsoever, I requesting a quote from them but to no avail.
