I’m really disappointed with customer service

I’m really disappointed with my experience using Beam’s referral program. The promotion clearly advertised a $40 minimum spend for the referral credit, but after my referral placed their order, I was told the purchase needed to be $80 to qualify.

There was no clear language in the terms stating this higher minimum, and it feels misleading to advertise one amount and then enforce another behind the scenes. Referral programs are meant to build trust and reward loyal customers — not create confusion or loopholes that prevent credits from being honored.

Because of this experience, I’ve cancelled my membership and will no longer be purchasing Beam products. I’ve enjoyed the products in the past, but this situation has seriously impacted my trust in the brand. Transparency in promotions matters, and customers shouldn’t have to guess at hidden requirements.

Don't trust Subscriptions Tab (it may none active, but you may actually have an active subscription)

Echoing the other reviewers responses, and wish I had seen this earlier. I upon my first order checked the subscriptions tab on my account, and it showed "no active subscriptions." Thus I was surprised to get a package and check my statement to see I was charged, yet again, the next month. I logged in, no active subscription lingo under Subscriptions tab...and was baffled. Digging more, I saw on the homepage there is a "manage subscriptions" tab, when clicking on it, voila: I have an active subscription. Then when hitting the subscriptions tab, it was populated. Seems, this very tricky activate button keeps the reality of a subscription hidden. When emailing about this, I was told no returns are accepted (not asking for return, just refund...although more than willing to return an undesired product) and that I should show proof of cancellation (did not screenshot along my investigation, apparently error 2 after having good faith in the company from the get go). All to say, shameful. Very unhappy on principle. AND, CHECK YOUR 'MANAGE SUBSCRIPTIONS' FROM HOMEPAGE NOT THE SUBSCRIPTIONS TAB OF ACCOUNT FOR ACCURATE INFORMATION. I'm also unhappy they store my credit card info, and can't delete. Next stop: fraud cancellation with credit card. Sigh. Because again, principle.

I ordered from Beam Organics GLOW (September…

I ordered from Beam Organics (September 2025). The GLOW product. I didn't choose the subscription option. However, I was just charged on Oct 8 a month later for The GLOW I didn't re-order. I didn't approve this. Total SCAM do not buy, buyer beware.

Also, as mentioned in a previous complaint. Their system isn't working for password recovery (I tried numerous times throughout the day) in which you can recover your password through an email from them (they never sent any), creating an impossible route to manage, review and certainly cancel your subscription. It's definitely by design you never get a password reset option. I didn't choose the subscription option and a month later I get an Order I didn't order. SCAM alert. Buyer Beware. Also, a IG digital creator is marketing this stuff. I have DM her and crickets. She is a well known IG figure and TV personality. Very frustrating to see her doing this. Total SCAM do not buy!!!! buyer beware.

They don't even have a phone number for customer service. This should have been the first red flag!

As another stated, they overcharge you and won't ever adjust anything, so buyer beware!!

A bag of powder & a scoop

This company has no 'money back guarantee'. I tried one scoop and didn't like it (plus, it didn't help me sleep), but they won't refund ANY of the ridiculous price I paid.

I started a subscription less than two…

I started a subscription less than two months ago since it was advertised as a 20% month savings and gave a steeper first month discount (like many businesses do to hook you in or hope you forget to cancel). They since lowered their prices ($95 to $85) of these products but refuse to honor that for anyone who "agreed to pay more." We signed up for a 20% discount as advertised, which is no longer the case. They are taking advantage of their loyal customers which won't bode well. The lack of customer service in such a world of plethora supplements, with theirs being one of the most expensive, makes it an easy choice to spend my money elsewhere with companies who care about their customers.

Waste of time & money

The sleep powder works well but the customer service is awful. It took more than half a month to receive my product. When I inquired about why it was taking so long customer service was rude & dismissive. The kicker is I found out you can get all the ingredients for less than their outrageous ~$90 sticker price & you get more than 10 times as much from Amazon. I will not be buying anything from shopbeam.com again.

Not to mention getting your account setup after a purchase and cancelling a subscription was a nightmare to navigate.
