I was recommended them by someone, couldn't have been more wrong. I called the number on the website and told them specifically what I wanted, and what I would need to produce the kind of shopify store I wanted. The person on the phone recommended one of the store builder programs. It was a little more than the one I was looking at, but he told me I would need the higher level to get the store I wanted. They worked very slowly, and I wasn't really impressed with the work. They told me the basic store build was done, and then asked who was going to write the copy. I told my account manager copy was included in the build I purchased. I was told that I had everything I needed to build a ready to sell shopify store. He told me my store level didn't include copy, but he could give me a discount. So I paid for them to do the copy. After they completed building the store with copy, I told them that I had asked for two products, bundles, and the option for subscription service. Once again I was told this wasn't included in what I purchased and that it was extra. At this point I just wanted to get the store finished, even though the store didn't look very good, it didn't show well on mobile, it seemed really clunky, and the images were poor. I agreed to move forward. Now it was time to connect my distributor and TikTok shop. Once again I was told this wasn't included with what I purchased. I reminded them that when I originally purchased the store, I told the man on the phone I wanted to build a full store with 2 products, bundles, and subscription option, it needed to be connected to my distributor and TikTok Shop, and I was told what level store to get. They told me no, it wasn't included in what I purchased. They were going to have to charge me for connecting the store to the distributor, and another charge for connecting the TikTok shop, but they would give me a discount, and set up an Amazon store as well. I went ahead and purchased the services. I told them I didn't really like the build, and since I was paying way more now, I put my foot down and have them get some better images. They still were not connecting the site. Somewhere along the line they got me a new account manager, and he told me they didn't have the original assets I sent them. I had to re-send everything including the images, and they had to rebuild the entire store. It still didn't look very good. I asked if they connected the store yet, I was told I needed to have a call with a manager. I was called by a man I had never spoken to before. He told me that I needed a high-risk payment gateway, and if I didn't pay an additional $5,500 they weren't going to publish the site. This was the last straw for me. I told them to stop working, they were fired. I immediately filed a dispute with my credit card company. They called me back and asked if I filed a dispute, and I told them I did. They asked if I would cancel the dispute and they would refund my purchases if I did that and didn't give a negative review. I agreed. They never issued the refund. I contacted them again with text and email, but no response. I started the dispute again. They called me, texted me, and a new relationship manager called me to ask what the issue was. I told her that she should've called me when I cancelled the first time, and they had their chance to do the right thing several times. This company is no good. They do bad work, their stores do not look professional, and they will try to upsell you at every turn and tell you what you already paid for isn't enough. Avoid them at all costs.

Well they talk a good game and offer a little input. If you dont have dedicated time to their schedule they are very unhelpful. Try not to have another job that pays the bills so you can pay these guys to mess up your website. Every deadline we would agree on would be not met. Then they would get annoyed if you didnt have time on their timeline. Now let me get to the part where every time they would fix something they said they would mess up a dozen other things. They are less expensive than many other places and I now know the reason why. I would recommend staying away from them or be on them like the smell to a cow pattie. I wish you luck if you choose them and get good with AI to un mess up what they do. Also i would backup your files each time they change something to make sure you can go back to fix what they did. They promise multiple things and dont deliver. And get upset when you dont purchase their maintenance plan when they couldnt even accomplish what they agreed to on numerous meetings. Sorry for the rant but it was rather a disappiting experience

It's been over a year! Still no store. I keep getting shifted to another rep. Each with a lick and a promise. The last one, a smooth talker who naively kept trying to upsell me.
As if I would be willing to spend more on a company that can't deliver my first prepaid project.

Unfortunately our experience with ShopifyCorps was not a good one. While it started out well and felt promising, things started to go downhill after they switched project managers after our original one left. There were frequent and increasing instances where our notes were seemingly ignored, requiring multiple of the same reminders for fixes. After the landing page was almost complete after many weeks of redundant instructions and direction, the new project manager tried to suggest all the work was done, completely dismissing the rest of the agreed upon work that we paid for. After bringing up this discrepancy, the project manager claimed to not have access to any of the previous project manager’s notes. When I stressed to him that he should look more diligently, the communications ceased. I tried to contact the owner, who emailed me to welcome us to the service after we paid, but again I have met with silence. In my email to the owner, Richard, I politely offered to do what we could to improve communications with his team so we could find a way to reach a satisfactory conclusion to our project. Sadly, not a peep. His email initially seemed sincere, especially in light of this portion he wrote,

“Please consider me personally at your disposal should you encounter any concerns, have questions, or wish to share thoughts directly—I’m just an email away at richard@….”

Unfortunately this seemed to be insincere and simply empty words.

At this point we’re going to need to find a way to extract a refund.

I had hoped that things would have gone well with this initial project, so I could have hired ShopifyCorps for an even bigger job for a larger e-commerce site. Their service provided was not completed, attempts at communications have gone ignored and we have lost the capital and time invested.

Overall, a very disappointing experience with ShopifyCorps.

While the example sites they showed me were promising, and some people seem to have had good luck with this organization, my experience was less than satisfactory. My questions were repeatedly ignored and went unanswered, and they continually tried to pressure me into additional services I didn't need. I gave them access to my existing site, and they created a separate site that I'd have to pay an additional subscription for to activate - and only told me after they had signed off on the job. Now I have to spend additional time working with Shopify to fix the mess. Their services were way too expensive for the lack of communication and follow-through received. Unprofessional and disappointing.
