Ordered a front sight for a new Taurus…

Ordered a front sight for a new Taurus 941 revolver, have yet to see any indication of being sent, they do not respond to emails, nor do they return phone calls, I should have, and still may just but from Amazon, Taurus finagles the part number to make it specific to them but they are available via others.

I have read & heard a lot of bad press…

I have read & heard a lot of bad press on the Taurus Customer Service. I bought a PT99 back in the 80's and love it. It always worked and can fire any ammo so far. It is accurate at 15 yards with iron sites. The only modification is that I painted the front site white and changed the grip. I ordered the grips from Taurus and it came in a week. After reading the excellent review on the TX22 & TX22 Competition, I bought a TX22 Comp in Jan 2022. It is also accurate at 15 yards with iron sites but better with a red dot. I then acquired a G3 Tactical in late July 2022. one of the optic plate screws was stuck and I rounded the Allen head. I called Taurus immediately and they offered to email a ship label but I was leaving town in several weeks and did not trust it would be returned in time so they recommended I have my Gun Store return it. I did and the gun came back in 10 days. It works great so far. I also ordered 2 G3 Mags & TX22 Mags from Taurus and they both arrived in a week. So that is my experience with Taurus so far: Excellent.

This is the worst firearms company I've ever dealt with. I need a yoke screw assembly which I had called and talked to Melissa two different times a different lady and then a man in the tech department no one could help me. After two calls finally got the part number which of course is not in stock for two different parts (I just need the internal parts of the yoke screw assembly the spring and The cone cylinder...) They could not even help me cross reference the part which I was able to do after a lot of investigation. Went on their website to order said part two different times added to cart purchased item was refunded next day due to them not having part which they showed was available on their site two different times. When told I could send an off for $100 they said that the bench or gunsmith they work with maybe we'll have the part because they carry different inventory, I asked if they could call and verify the parts before I spent the $100 to send it off which they said no there was no way to contact them.. Why would anyone gamble shipping a gun for $100 with the possibility of losing that money for another "sorry we don't have the part" you wasted your time and money? You can't call your other departments and communicate!? I can't find a part for a gun that was manufactured in 2008 which was a mainstream revolver 357!!? My gun is now a basic paperweight if I ever find out how to fix this I will get rid of this handgun immediately and never purchase from Taurus again the tech department and parts department is not educated with the firearms they deal with and are no help. The company doesn't even have an email that should tell you everything you need to know. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company and buy the main brand names Glock, Ruger, colt, Kimber. This company is pure trash!

Do not purchase viridian laser

Beginning of March I purchased a viridian red laser for my G2c

About a week and a half later I was at the indoor range ready to try my new laser
I turned the laser on shut 12 rounds seem to work fine
Turn the laser off and decided to shoot about 5 more magazines without the laser on
When I started shooting with the sixth magazine the laser came on by itself then went off again and then on again and stayed on and would not turn off
I disarmed my weapon and sat it down and removed the laser
Now mind you I was not firing one magazine after the other I had to stop and reload manually my two magazines
Not that it would make a difference but the gun was not hot
The laser is located down in front of the trigger guard
After I remove the laser I called shop Taurus explained situation the woman said I had to call the manufacturer
Again don't mind you this was a Friday around 4:30 p.m. eastern time

So Monday I called the manufacturer I told them this thing is an epic fail I explained what happened I told them I wanted my money back
They told me to contact Taurus where I purchased it from
I told them that I infected that Friday and they told me that I had to contact you in order to get my money back and get a free shipping label for return
The manufacturer laughed and said no we are sorry but you do have to contact Taurus
I told them that's what I thought that's why I contacted them Friday

So I get a shipping label Monday and I drop it off at FedEx they get it after it was detained a couple days later when it was supposed to be expedited 2 days
It ended up taking almost a week to get there
Finally I reached out to them after multiple attempts to find out if they've received the defective product
They told me yes and it has to go through a process to get two accounting so that they can process my refund

This coming Thursday, April 14th will be exactly 3 weeks that it's been sitting on the desk in accounting
They have not processed my refund and have had the item for over 3 weeks
Like I said it's been sitting on the desk of someone in accounting for the past almost 3 weeks
It's like they don't want to give me my money back for a defective piece of crap that they sold me

I have purchased other things from them before haven't really had an issue with that thank goodness

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE VERIDIAN LASER
IT IS FAR FROM RELIABLE

I bought a 17 round Taurus G3 magazine plus a recoil spring from shoptaurus. That same day I ordered ammo from bereli. The shipment from shoptaurus made it here before the one from bereli.

Bought a G3 and after running abot 250…

Bought a G3 and after running abot 250 rounds the front sight fell off and was unable to recover it.. Called cs and they said they'd ship a new one and make sure to use locktite which they would not ship to me. That right there is wrong as I told them there was noting in manual to watch out for regarding the sight loosening or what not. They also had none in stock and instead of them shipping one when the got them they said, that I had to check for stock and when they had stock to call and order . They couldn't just back order me one. Strike two!! Then, after I say in stock I ordered and waited like 12 days and called to see tracking or ETA. They said, it didn't ship cuz, of other back orders and failed to even contact me to tell me!! Strike three!!! They also, wouldn't give me credit of $8.95 towards an upgrade sight so, they F'N SUCK!! Lost a customer for life and I'll never recomend TARUS TO ANYONE!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Ordered Laser

Ordered Laser, have not received yet but payment cleared several days. This company has absolutely no way to follow up on orders. It just says shipped for last ten days. They do not give a tracking number - so I guess I just have to hope and wait. Not impressed with whomever is in charge of the paperwork.

Purchase a red dot from Shoptaurus…

Purchase a red dot from Shoptaurus which was defective. Called then to return it . They sent me the return FedEx slip and said I could expect to receive credit back to my credit card in 30 to 60 days. Which is ridiculous. Don’t buy from them.

Buyer Beware!

I purchased a Taurus G3c recently and wanted to buy some accessories so I went to shoptaurus.com and placed an order. Didn't care for the holster that I purchased which was a right hand IWB holster and decided to return it for a left hand. The item was returned on approximately 7 or 8 March. Heard absolutely nothing other than I have proof the item was delivered to Taurus Intl MFG Inc Returns. I contacted Taurus about 10 days later because all I wanted as an exchange and I tried calling. That didn't work because of excessive hold times so I emailed them and still had issues. Got a response that the item was received and it could take awhile for a credit. I was never notified that the item was received back and in fact I was never even notified that my items had shipped until I had already received them. Before buying from shoptaurus.com go to Amazon.com. Taurus accessories are available at Amazon.com and you won't have anywhere near the problems if you want to return something. The holster I ordered was mfr'd by another company and they're available at Amazon.com or directly from the mfr.
