Posted inaccurate info without consent

So if you Google my name on the internet then you will find a list of inaccurate information (due to being outdated) about me that these jokers ripped off my LinkedIn which I had shut down a while back - I asked them to remove the profile and they had the audacity to give me a form to fill out. This their mess up not mine - I'm not filling in a form! I don't recommend SignalHire at all as they are posting people's information without consent and it's not even accurate thus misleading and deceiving to everyone else - that's also not my number and I don't know who's email address they actually have...

Purchased subscription and they have given me wrong information even after I have showed them related emails. No REFUND and I wasted my $49.

Be aware!!! Scam & predatory practices

Be aware!!!! I canceled my membership and they continued to charge me for a year. When I finally caught it and reached out, they said they cannot issue a refund including the pending transaction my bank sent alert for.

After 60 messages this was the reply:
I understand your concerns about the charges and the cancellation of your subscription. Unfortunately, our policy prohibits issuing refunds once payment has been processed, as all transactions are confirmed without error.
Your account remains canceled, and there will be no further charges moving forward. I sincerely apologize if the notification emails were missed, but as stated, we send out reminders to ensure customers are informed about any active subscriptions.

If you have any further questions or need any assistance in the future, please feel free to reach out.

They collect unauthorized information…and misrepresent it to disadvantage some professionals

They collect unauthorized information about professionals, do not verify it and misrepresent this information. I have encountered a few colleguages who are now fighting to have their information removed from SignalHire due to falsehood and misrepresentation they suggest they pervieve to be done with malicious intent.

As while they did not grant consent to Signalhire to crawl and index their data from any platform, it was more worrying that the information published was inaccurate and framing of the profiles snippets did not make sense as it could only be percieved to disadvantage the professional and nagatively impact their careers

10/10 product - I've tested LITERALLY 10+ email providers, the biggest names you know and signalhire is what we use out of all of them.

Team's responsive, product works great, and the CEO clearly cares about customers.

Would highly recommend.

Call it a Subscription trap.

Call it a FRAUD, a SCAM, or whatever you want. This is the worst website I’ve ever dealt with.

What’s even worse than the bad or useless information they provide is the way they trap you in their subscription. You can’t cancel it on the website because the last button just says “Contact Sales.”
Then a salesperson contacts you and tells you to go back to the portal to cancel the subscription, but you still can’t cancel it.

Cancel it directly
Since you selected the “Contact the Sales team” option, our sales team promptly reached out to you. To ensure that you're always informed about your active subscription status, we notify each customer about the status of their subscription and provide clear instructions on how to cancel. At the same time, we offer assistance with any additional questions they may have.
In your case, you submitted a request for the Sales team to contact you on 11/11/25, and our manager reached out to you right away. Later, you were able to successfully cancel your subscription.
I hope this clarifies the situation. If you still have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact the SignalHire team directly.

Chrome Extension

The biggest pro of the platform is its Chrome extension. Really friendly and easy to use.
Also, I did research on pricing. I think SignalHire is a balanced option compared to, well, competitors.

They SCAMMED me! Took my money and closed my account! I emailed them, called them, texted them 100 times - NO ANSWER!

Shit company, shit leads, shit contacts, shit customer service, shit everything!

SignalHire has the worst customer…

SignalHire has the worst customer service. They kept charging my credit card the annual membership fee until it went through, despite my credit card company declining the charge. Signal Hire charged again and it went through on a Friday. When I found out the next Monday that they had charged me the $497 annual fee, I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge, and e-mailed their customer service to tell them I wanted an immediate refund and cancellation. I had lost my job the previous year and so any e-mails they sent me for notifications went to an e-mail I couldn't access. When I went to my account with them to remove the payment info, I couldn't access the payment info because they wanted to send a security key to my e-mail address first (which I couldn't access because I didn't work for that company). When I tried to call SignalHire there was no person answering the phone. The only option was to leave a voicemail after pressing a number. So being unable to change my e-mail, I never received any renewal notifications and I was unable to change my e-mail nor access the billing information. When I explained by e-mail to them what happened and now three business days after being charged that I wanted a full and immediate refund, the woman told me that THEY WERE UNABLE TO ISSUE ME A REFUND after a card has been charged successfully!!! And second, that they had cancelled my subscription immediately as I had asked!!! So in one sense yes, I am glad it was cancelled because I didn't want to renew it and I had no use for it, but does it make sense to insist on charging for a full year of a subscription to a service and then not provide the service??? And the idea of being unable, more like unwilling. Most companies would provice a full refund especially if it is close to the renewal day, if you didn't receive the notifications of it coming up, if you were unable to access your e-mail, change the payment info, or speak to a live person. And if a company is greedy, they would at the very least provide a partial refund based on the number of days you waited to cancel a subscription. But SignnalHire claimed it was impossible to issue me any refund whatsoever when I was unable to talk with a person, had my credit card company already deny them, my e-mail was inaccessible, and I contacted them the next business day after they had successfully obtained a renewal to cancel it! This speaks of the poor quality of customer service and complete lack of having a system that is user friendly. I told them I would inform those I know how they make it very difficult to cancel with them, and that they insist on charging someone for the year ahead when they will be providing ZERO Services.

RED FLAG for Privacy Infringement. They use your data without your consent.

They create a profile with your information without your awareness nore consent. Some of it are even wrong and misleading which makes it more counterproductive in connecting me professionaly with headhunters. I do recognize some of information I posted in my job profile like LinkedIn were here, but they mixed up a lot of information with the companies I worked in and even linked me to individuals and companies I never even worked with. I am unsure what algorithm or what process made this happen.

The opt-out or correction options with your data are also not very accessible since the only option for that to work is to communicate with your work/business email. They already posted an incorrect email and contact number in the misleading 'profile' in my name that they made so it is all the more suspicious why they still ask for your business email.

Regardless if the site would be very good in establishing effective professional connections, take heavy caution if you would engage professionally with signalhire.com especially with very supicious practices such as this. This would do more harm than good in your professional career or business.
