Great Customer Experience and Servicing Bandwidth!

The roofing company I work for has been using Signpost for over 5 years mainly as an "after hours" answering service and order taking service. However, Signpost is available to answer our phones (28 locations across the east coast) 24x7 and have been called upon to help out during high volume daytime hours. Their dependability and ability to handle calls at a high answer rate; high quality; high accuracy; and then deliver the call outputs to us either via live transfer, text and/or email ensures that everyone on our side is receiving the message according to their preference. We recently developed and launched an AI rep where the implementation process was super easy and the finished product is first class. My bandwidth on answering phone calls is now nearly limitless! Avoid Sign Post – Aggressive Sales, No Service Delivered, Ongoing Unauthorized Charges

I was contacted repeatedly by Rick Torres from Sign Post with daily high-pressure phone calls and sales promises about their AI-powered phone answering service. He assured me it would provide reliable 24/7 call handling, virtual receptionist features, scheduling, lead capture, and full setup/support to streamline my business communications.
After signing up based on these representations, I was charged $375 per month, but no services were ever provided. There was no account activation, no AI receptionist implementation, no call answering or handling, and absolutely no support or follow-up. Despite my multiple attempts to reach out for assistance with my business needs, all calls and messages were ignored.
The monthly charges continued regardless, totaling over $1,000 withdrawn from my card with zero value or functionality delivered in return. This has been an extremely disappointing and expensive experience, with promises completely unfulfilled after payment started.
I strongly recommend avoiding Sign Post and Rick Torres entirely if you’re considering an AI phone answering or virtual receptionist service. Research thoroughly—look for providers with transparent processes, verifiable positive reviews, live demos, and responsive customer support. This saved me nothing but frustration and financial loss; don’t make the same mistake.

Excellent addition to our HVAC company!

Signpost always has friendly and helpful receptionists answering the phones. The process of creating our script went very well, Alicia assisted in the process and listened to my requests and concerns ensuring the script was written exactly how we wanted it. We have saved a lot of money using Signpost compared to our previous service because they answer the phones promptly and get through the phone call efficiently. Overall, we are very pleased with Signpost!

What makes this experience great in my…

What makes this experience great in my opinion is I don't have to answer robot calls all day, When my actual customers call they are met quickly with a professional that answers, and quickly captures contact information and what service the customers are requesting. This saves me so much time and frustration in my days. The receptionist ask if the customer if this is and emergency and if they are needing needing immediate service. The calls are recorded so I can review how the call was handled and if something is off I can respond with a reply. As a professional 1 man carpet cleaning professional this service has saved me so much valuable time. I am a new user of only about 15 days but so far I am very impressed and thankful for the service and the professionalism of the receptionist.

Abby and Erica are amazing!

We currently have about 12 different branches on with Signpost and Abby and Erica are always amazing and willing to help!

KJ in the billing department is always amazing with answering any questions I have and helping with providing anything needed.

This is the second time we have tried…

This is the second time we have tried them. They're answering service is NOT US based, and they refuse to schedule any calls whatsoever. Not sure the point of an answering service if they do nothing.

updated 7/9: Signpost reached out to me and made it right. We will still not be moving forward with them but I appreciate it when a company takes accountability.

I had the chance to interact with a Real Five Star Representative.

I had the chance to interact with a representative by the name of Tyree Tab-Eliot twice, as of now. He was and is by far one of the best reps I've had the pleasure to do business with. He took the time to evaluate my account....unprompted, mind you and had the presence of mind to change my account back to its original status saving me Hundreds of dollars. He is a Five Star representative who, If i may say, is a great asset to the organization. In a world like today, its hard to find someone who goes out their way to provide stellar service.
Keep up the good work Tyree!!!

My reply to you! If you were truly sorry, you would reimburse me for all those months I paid for your service that I was on hold for. Not right, and the people I talked to was very rude to me and just said they would not reimburse me. Hard to believe! That is so wrong!

We are truly sorry that we could not find a solution that would work for you.

I had signed on and was grandfathered in at a specific price. I even have it in writing. I had to put the service on hold for a good while which I paid for and then when I was ready to use the service again they told me I had to pay full price and would no longer honor my package that I had been paying for. For years! They would not reimburse me either. Not a dime! They took thousands from me without providing my service. I would not recommend this company at all. Very unprofessional and a scam.

I have been using Signpost for years

I have been using Signpost for years. I am the only person in my office doing dispatching, accounting, returning calls, etc. I appreciate Signpost, they are my assistant taking incoming calls, gathering information. This way I have more time to spend with our new client. If I have a concern, I email them and it is resolved. My clients comment how nice the call taker was. I like hearing that.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have had in the past year

Twice I’ve been on hold for two hours and had no response. You would think an answering service would answer their damn phone at least to take a message instead of letting it ring and ring and ring and

I will be finding a new answering service today

Signpost Dependability

I mostly use Signpost for after our normal business hours close for the day plus, weekends and holidays. On occasion, I need them 24x7. They always "have our back" and their dependability and scalability is what I need most.

I have spoken to Tyree a few times now and he has always been super helpful. I always enjoy his upbeat personality and attention to detail. Tyree has also been really helpful in making sure I have the information needed. I feel I learn something new each time too and it's been awesome!
