The dresses aren’t silk they are a see through cotton fabric, I ordered a black silk dress and it was ill fitting, badly made, and not the material the website said it would be. The shipping takes months and it is definitely not worth the price tag.

Do not buy from this website, I fully believe it is a scam. My order took over six weeks to arrive. When it did arrive it looked nothing like the pictures. Terrible quality and fit, completely unwearable. When I tried to return it they gave me three addresses and never replied when I asked which one to use. I paid for a tracked package return which says it has arrived but they will no refund me. I'm short about 200 euro. Would really recommend against using.

Definitely a scam website don't even bother
First of all, I waited almost 2 months for this dress to come. It was not posted anywhere that it would take a month and a half just for the order to be processed. When I got the dress, I laughed at how cheaply made it was. I tried it on and the side seam ripped. The fabric itself looks so cheap and thin. Felt like $10 dress from shein quality. When I asked to return my product for a refund, they were not cooperative at all. They offered to send me a new dress but the quality is so cheap I didn't want a new dress, I just wanted my money back. Will never order from this store ever again.

Yikes! Should’ve read the reviews before I purchased from this company. Just don’t do it. They’re a scam. They sent me the wrong product and want me to pay for shipping to send the item back. Wasting my time AND money. Why should I trust that I’ll ever see my money again once they receive the item if I can’t even trust them to send me the correct dress that I paid for in the first place? I talked to them for a week before giving up and just reporting them. I mean I thought lilysilk was bad but wow lilysilk is 1000 times better than this horrible company. They overprice the crap out of these polyesters and don’t even give you what you ordered. I can’t wait to show screenshots of their service to everyone. Guys, save yourself the headache and just don’t purchase from this horrible place. They don’t have good service, no matter how good you think their site looks, if they don’t have good service & they screw up (or you don’t like your item) say good bye to the hundreds of dollars you spent on it. Genuinely, just save time and money and go somewhere else. This isn’t it, sis. And looks like trustpilot noticed that they’re faking their reviews too…. If a company had good service, and good product… they wouldn’t need to fake their reviews! Guys let this company’s review speak for itself.
EDIT: Just don’t trust them. I read their reply. Yes, thanks for sending me an item that is 2 sizes too big and blamed ME for not knowing what size it was. They kept trying to tell me they sent the correct size They even told me they probably did send the correct size after I told them it was wrong. The item is useless… waste of time and money. I do NOT recommend. Their reply will speak for itself on how they tried to handle it.

When you contact us, we have been doing our best to help you resolve the issue of sending the wrong item. We promise to reimburse you for shipping costs after we determine that the wrong item was sent. We do not provide return labels, so covering shipping costs is only possible on a reimbursement basis.
To reduce your concern, we also offered to arrange for a replacement while you send the package back but you never replied either. Now the wrong item is kept by you and the money was refunded to you.

However, at the very least, please CONTACT YOUOR LOCAL POST OFFIC FIRST TO COLLECT YOUR PACKAGE. This is in case the package is overdue and destroyed.
(Regarding the tracking information, it is your local post office that changed the tracking information as signed for, we have reminded them of this and they will be aware of it in the future.)
Because we sell all over the world, we will not be able to personally check the shipping and delivery details of your package once it has arrived in your local country.
But when we saw the email you sent us on 5/16, we have checked with your local logistics provider immediately. It was only yesterday that they replied to us.
So please have a look at the email we sent you yesterday. As USPS failed to deliver your package and then they took it to a post office near you.

If I could give this company -1 stars, I would!!! This company is a total scam. They provide fake tracking information and lie about items being delivered. The “tracking number” they provided claims that my package was delivered via USPS, however the tracking number is not recognized by USPS system. There customer service is a coverup as well, you are constantly told to wait for logistics to contact you which can take up to 24-48 hours. Do not order from this company!

1, Your order on our website is not 150€ euros, but $150 USD.
2, Regarding the SIZE of the dress. We are very sorry that the black dress you love did not turn out the way you expected. However, the fact that the dress was not the right size does not count as "faulty goods", which is also clearly stated in our return policy on our website "If your product is not working due to a material or manufacturing error or you have received the wrong product, please email us at support@silkmaison.com within 14 days with an appropriate photo description. We will provide you with a specific solution.".
Please refer to it.
And in the process of online shopping, it is very normal that the size does not fit, since you can exchange the goods anyway. So again, the dress in your order just does not fit, THIS COULD NOT COUNT AS "AN ERROR WITH OUR PRODUCTS". Please understand.
3, Regarding the "exposure issue" you mentioned. Emmmm,,, because of the unique design of our dress, we're not sure IF YOU PUT IT ON BACKWARDS when you tried it on (since we've had customers put it on backwards when they tried it on, haha).
4, Because THE RETURN TRACKING NUMBER you provided us with DID NOT WORK and we STILL HAVE NOT received your return.

Even the responses from the company are a dreadful show of customer service - it is clear they try every loophole to avoid taking responsibility
So here goes
I order from what looked like an American site
Lovely coat and went for it and ordered my coat
It took weeks for it to arrive as clearly now realise it was being shipped from China
The coat is big enough for 5 people and totally unacceptable
I followed instructions and paid return costing £15 and advised of tracking number
It was to be returned to a French address!
Well all ok so far as it would not be fair to complain about length of time to receive
I waited for about 5 weeks for my refund and then my package turned up at my house with labels all over it saying address rejected and refused
What excuse now
As I believe this is theft
And I am keen to know what response I will be given
Support email not responding and mailbox in America says mailbox full
Please tell me how you are going to refund my order without a whole load of inexplicable excuses

Nonexistent Customer Support and Order Fulfillment
My daughter placed an order for her High School Ball dress several weeks ago and has received no updates regarding her order. In addition, we have made multiple attempts to contact Silk Maison via text, email, phone and chat to no avail.
I wish we had read these online reviews before ordering.
Our order number is 137832. No one has responded to the customer service email. So please reach out directly based on our order number.

They have replied to your emails as soon as get back to work.
We are very sorry that the dress your daughter purchased for her prom will not arrive on time. In this case, would you like to cancel your order please?

Un mois que j’ai passé commande
Un mois que j’ai passé commande, la première fois où je demande au service client où en est l’expédition on me dit que ma commande sera expédiée entre mi et fin avril au plus tard car les robes sont fabriquées à la commande.
Aujourd’hui je relance, on me répond qu’elle sera expédiée début mai car elle est en rupture de stock, cherchez l’erreur, rupture de stock alors que les articles sont fabriqués à la demande ????? On change d’argumentaire en plus de tout ça.
Commandée pour un mariage… à aucun moment le délai est précisé à la commande !
On me propose un remboursement… merci mais j’aimerai ma robe ! Débitée dès le début bien sûr !

We are also very, very grateful for your love of our dresses.
Please don't worry, we do make our products to order. We are sorry that our fellow in the customer service department may have used the wrong word.
It's just that if there are many orders for the same dress, we will make this dress for several orders at once.
And due to the disruptions of the current global COVID-19 pandemic, this has caused us to be delayed time and time again in sourcing the fabric for the dress and in making them. So after again and again delays, now we really don't know when your dress will be ready, as it is really out of our control. We sincerely hope you will understand.
If you really want your dress still, we can only say that it is expected to be shipped in mid or late May, but this time is still uncertain.
Of course, if you are really fed up with the long and hopeless wait, please feel free to contact our customer service and they will inform you of the latest updates on your order and help you with the further processing.

Scam and no response
I ordered an item about a month ago and still have not received the item. It’s been stuck in LA post office, but I’m confused how this can happen to every order it seems like from other reviews. They stopped replying to my emails and it’s just a big scam and a waste of money that you will never get anything in return

However, you placed your order on March 26th, and you send us the last email on April 10th (half a month after you placed your order) and we have replied you on April 12th. Please check your SPAM FOLDER.
With regards to the delay in your order, we are sorry that the global COVID-19 pandemic has caused a delay in the transit of your order. This is really out of our control.
Anyway, we have pressed the logistics provider several times.
Sorry that all we can say at this time is to ask you to please wait for a little longer.

Worst experience i've ever had online shopping
First i got the wrong coat, 1.5 month after placing my order. Then i was in contact with costumer service, and they said I was supposed to get my new original coat within a month later. I never got anything after a month and contacted them. They had apparently sold my original coat to someone else without contacting me, and when i told them I was unpleased with their business, their responses to me after that were very rude.
I never got the coat i ordered. Were supposed to get all the money refunded, but instead they chose to keep 18USD of my money, because of the "shipping fees" for the coat they never shipped.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

We are also very sorry that we were not able to let you receive your coat in the end. :(
On 2 February, you sent us back the incorrect coat you had received.
On 18 February, your return was successfully received at our warehouse.
On 21 February, WE DID CONTACTED YOU ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF THE COAT IN YOUR ORIGINAL ORDER and ASKED IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE WAITING FOR IT.
Only on 23 March (one month later) you replied to us and stated that you would like to receive the coat from your original order as quickly as possible.
However, we can only start making the coat once we have received your confirmation, so we have again advised you that we will only be able to make your coat ready by the beginning of April at the earliest.
For your blame about "Why did you sell my coat to somebody else", We HAVE INDEED CONTACTED YOU on January 21st BEFORE SELLING IT.
We have also held the coat for you for a month without receiving your confirmation. But because our company specialises in selling clothes, we were unable to keep the coat for you all the time. And it is already spring and soon we will not be making coats.
So please understand that it is a normal sales operation for us to sold the coat under the situation of not hearing from you after a month.
Regarding your comment about the $18 shipping fee. As we have mentioned in our emails, when you successfully received the item (even if it was the wrong item), the LOGISTICS PROVIDER had already charged the $18 shipping fee from your order. Please forgive us as there is really nothing we can do about this.
But please believe that we have been doing our best to make up for the mistake of our staff sending you the wrong coat. We have reimbursed you for your return shipping (almost $40) and have promptly refunded the amount you paid for the coat.
With regard to the compensation you mentioned in your emails, we are currently able to offer you a Gift card or points as compensation for you.
If you would like to accept this, please reply to us by email.
Again, we really really apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you.

actually really good would reccomend
I was really nervous to buy from silk maison after reading reviews here. However, my experience with them was really good- way better than other major online retailers shops like ASOS. The order was shipped and arrived within a fortnight with standard shipping (I live in Australia and this almost never happens) which I was really impressed by as I had seen heaps of reviews saying shipping was an issue for them (it might depend on country and customs but idk). Customer service was also really impressive for me- I emailed about troubles tracking the package and they explained it all so nicely and got back to me within a day and a half.
The dress was a beautiful material and the packaging felt so luxurious. The dress I bought was one of their most popular and was really nice. I was nervous wearing silk as it is not a form fitting fabric but the dress fit beautifully and worked really well for my figure (5'3ft, curvy) and came in really nicely at the waist which was the best part.
