Simply Tajweed UoR 2025-26 was an amazing experience and a brilliant course. I definitely recommend to anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding of tajweed. It has helped me improve my confidence with Quran recitation and made learning so much easier. The lessons were very clearly structured and extremely engaging, any sessions missed were easy to catch up with. Ustadah Malikah is a phenomenal teacher with so much patience and passion towards teaching. She ensured we all felt welcomed when joining and no question was “silly”. She’s so easy to approach and talk to if I was ever struggling. Such a supportive, helpful Ustadah and always willing to go the extra mile for her students. May Allah reward her immensely and everyone involved in this course! Highly recommend!!!

It was a wonderful year of classes, lots of support and consistent revision in class. A little bit difficult to catch up with the classes if you miss one, but the teachers are good at getting you back in track. One thing I will say is that the exam (if you choose to do it for certification) is a little bit difficult, but that doesn't mean you can't pass!! Would recommend to anyone who does know how to read the Quran but needs an in-depth revision of the details. (Location: Keele University)

This course was incredibly insightful and wholistic as a guide to tajweed, especially as a beginner. I now feel more confident in my recitation during prayer and my reading of the Quran. My teacher was very patient and supportive of my efforts. Alhamdullilah. The only downside (which I am sure can be resolved) was not being able to access the audio examples which I believe would have made the course even more beneficial, especially to catch up when missing classes. Regardless, the course itself is absolutely worth it. Particularly at the student rate. Don’t miss out if it is coming to your local university!

Simply Tajwid course, in Bournemouth Uni, has been incredibly beneficial. The lessons were well-structed, practical, and easy to follow. What made the course especially impactful was the teacher’s supportive approach. Ustad’s confident delivery, deep knowledge, and patient guidance brought clarity and purpose to every lesson. His assured approach created a professional yet uplifting atmosphere that made learning both motivating and meaningful. I am sincerely grateful for the progress I have made through this learning journey and deeply appreciate Ustad's dedication. I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to improve his/her Tajwid.

The Simply Tajweed Programme has changed my life alhamdullilah! I was in the Cheadle class of 25/26 and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The syllabus, resources, materials and teachers are exceptional - every need a beginner Tajweed student has is met. The team have endless time for your questions, recitation and personal reflections. I joined this course at Cheadle mosque led by brother Salim. The course was well structured with easy to follows books which were provided as part of the course. I came into the course with previous knowledge and this course helped me improve my Tajweed skills drastically. It has enabled me to understand why Quran readers recite in the manner they do, the rules associated with them and the nuances that come with it. I have benefitted and it has really improved my confidence in reading Quran and my overall ability. I am now able to pick mistakes of other colleagues too. Overall I would highly recommend everyone who can read the Quran to do the course to excel in their recitation. Jzk khair to the teachers and organisers of the course! Really good course layout and very comprehensive in how tajweed is taught. Adapted to work with a western audience which really helps. Done the course at cheadle masjid

I was in need of a quick and efficient route in learning tajweed after other failed routes and SimplyTajweed did that for me. As a non-arabic speaker, I greatly valued the shortcuts developed in memorising the tajweed terms. I truly recommend ST to those seeking both a concise and laughter-filled route to tajweed. This course with Islam Elserougi was an immense success. He was always patient with us throughout and I have definitely benefited a lot from these lessons more than I ever have. I can confidently say that I am able to recite the Quran more confidently knowing the Tajweed rules even better and where to apply each one of them.

As a beginner I found this tajweed class very helpful. The course content is easy to understand and is taught by very dedicated and experienced teachers. Teachers especially sister Sadia and sister Khawla were amazing. I would highly recommend this course. I have also joined the Simply tajweed plus where I a able to implement the theory of Tajweed learnt in this course.

At the beginning, as a working single parent it felt like a big commitment having to carve up time to attend lesson. But MasyaAllah everything was effortless! They were so accommodating. The organisation, communication and effort to humbly makes learning rewarding is beyond what I expected. The teachers were knowledgeable and invested in making each lessons memorable. I couldn't ask for a better place to start my journey in learning the Quran.

Ustadh Abdul Rahman was an amazing teacher and the whole course was simple and digestible. Definitely recommend this as it changed my recitation and developed it a lot more

I enrolled in this program through the University of Manchester ISOC, and it has been an amazing experience. The classes are comprehensive yet easy to grasp, ensuring clarity for all learners. Mohammed Saeed and Bilal Shariff are both exceptional educators, always providing precise answers to any questions. They have played a significant role in boosting my reading confidence. The sessions are highly engaging and well-organized, addressing every aspect thoroughly. I've noticed noticeable progress and wholeheartedly recommend these classes to anyone. The teaching methods are straightforward and accessible, helping me identify and correct errors I wasn't even aware of. I've gained a wealth of knowledge, and the instruction is well-suited for learners at any tajweed level.
