Recently bought a BMW 1 series from s James, my experience was nothing less than superb, especially Natalie, the car is immaculate in every way, and looks superb, as well as the added extras I had. I dealt with Natalie throughout my whole experience and nothing was too much, she responded to any questions I had via email within 10 minutes, even on her days off. I would 100% recommend a James to anyone, and will definitely be using them in the future

I’ve now bought my last three cars from S James Prestige, and every single one has been brilliant. The cars have all been exactly as described, reliable, and great value for money.
What really stands out, though, is the customer service. The team are friendly, helpful and genuinely care about their customers. There’s no rubbish or pushy sales talk with this place — just an honest and straightforward service.
I’ve had some terrible experiences with other car dealers in the past, so finding a dealership I can actually trust is a breath of fresh air. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend S James Prestige to anyone looking for a quality car from a dealer you can trust.
I’ll definitely be back for car number four!

Very disappointing
Very disappointing. After a few months of searching for a new car, I've been impressed by the images I've seen from this company of various stock.. however different story when you contact them to purchase. I contacted them about a 8 series I was interested in. After I said I was looking to pay in cash I didn't get any response, even after chasing the sales associate who I was in touch with. Seems like they want to make money from people financing their stock. Another red flag was when they told me that a second 8 series I was interested in was no longer available - even though the ad is still online 2 months later - it just seems they want to have nice professional images of cars to lure customers in.
A real shame.

Thank you for your further feedback. We are disappointed to see this review posted again, particularly as the same concerns were raised previously and have already been addressed with you.
We would, however, like to clarify the points raised once more.
We absolutely do not prioritise customers based on whether they choose to purchase with cash or finance. We are more than happy to sell our vehicles to cash buyers, and the suggestion that we ignore or deprioritise customers because they do not require finance is simply not true.
Our cars can sell incredibly quickly, particularly sought-after models such as the BMW 8 Series. We have a large database of customers waiting for specific vehicles, meaning cars can sometimes be reserved very shortly after being advertised. Where a customer is progressing with a finance application, the vehicle is held for them while the application is concluded. This is not about favouring finance customers; it is simply part of the process when a purchase is already progressing.
Regarding the second 8 Series you mention, vehicles can remain visible on our website or third-party advertising platforms after being reserved, sold or removed from active stock. Updates across these platforms are not always immediate, which can unfortunately create confusion around availability. This does not mean that the vehicle is being deliberately advertised to lure customers into purchasing something else.
We also strongly reject the suggestion that we use professional photography to mislead customers. We use professional photography to ensure our vehicles are accurately and attractively represented online, allowing customers to get a clear idea of the cars before making an enquiry or visiting us. There is certainly no strategy of using attractive imagery to deliberately mislead potential customers.
Our business model is to price our vehicles as competitively as possible within the market, which is one of the reasons they can sell so quickly. There is no benefit to us in deliberately misleading potential customers, and we are disappointed that this has been suggested.
We appreciate that you were disappointed that the vehicles you were interested in were no longer available, and we are sorry that your experience left you frustrated. However, we feel it is important to correct the suggestion that S James Prestige deliberately favours finance customers or uses misleading tactics to generate sales, as this does not reflect how our business operates.
As mentioned in our response previously, if you are still looking for an 8 Series, we remain more than happy to discuss any suitable vehicles we currently have available and assist you in finding the right car.

Excellent Service from Start to Finish!
I recently bought a Mercedes E-Class coupe from S James Prestige, and the entire experience was top-notch.
I initially spoke to Tom over the phone, who was brilliant—he arranged my finance and secured the car in just 15 minutes. On collection day, I dealt with Kim, who made me feel incredibly welcomed, comfortable, and well looked after. You can tell there is a special touch put on all of their cars, and I felt a genuine sense of trust with this dealership from the start.
To top it off, they reached out with a phone call and text message after the sale just to check in on how I was getting on.
It was a lovely, stress-free experience buying a car from them. Huge thanks to Tom, Kim, and the team at S James Prestige for the excellent customer service!
