I purchased an eau de parfum sample set worth £38, with postage totalling £7.40 for delivery within 3-5 days.

On the fifth day, instead of my order, I received a grey card from Royal Mail informing me that Skandinavisk had failed to pay the full postage for my order, so I would need to pay an additional £7.60 (?!) before they would deliver it to me.

After confirming with Royal Mail that this was indeed a postage charge, not a customs charge, I reached out to Skandinavisk for support (no response as yet). I refuse to pay postage twice for one order.

Poor conduct from any company. I won't be ordering from them again.

I am very surprised that they have any bad reviews. I first discovered this brand at Copenhagen Airport, and I was amazed by the scents. The prices were quite high compared to other brands, so it took me a while to decide to buy something, but I finally did. And to be honest, it was one of the best decisions I have made.

You just need to make sure you choose a scent you truly like. Let me give you some details. I purchased the ØY 50 ml diffuser, a SKOG candle set, and another red one with a Christmas scent. On 27 August 2025, I placed the diffuser in the corridor of our home, and it lasted until Christmas.

Later, I purchased the ØY, HAV, and SKOG 50 ml diffusers. On 30 January 2026, I placed HAV in the small toilet, ØY in the corridor, and SKOG in the bathroom of our bedroom, so the bathroom would smell nice and the scent could also spread a little into the bedroom. They lasted until the beginning of June. Only SKOG, which was in our bedroom bathroom, lasted until May — and considering that it was in a warm, humid area with hot water running every day, it still lasted a long time.

On 21 June, I purchased ØY and ARKTIS 100 ml refills. I received them yesterday 25th of June, which was pretty quick delivery to Hungary. I also chose a free sample of the Deep Forest eau de toilette. My husband has now decided to take it over, although I loved it too — but he is right, it is more of a masculine scent.

Anyway, I ordered the eau de toilette sample set today because I am curious about all the scents. I wish they also offered diffuser scent samples to buy, so we could try them all before choosing.

To sum it up: yes, the price is high, but the products last a long time and smell amazing. Totally worth it. I am not being paid, lol — I purchase everything myself, and this is not paid marketing. But good products should be appreciated. I hope they keep up the good work. I am looking forward to receiving the perfume sample set and discovering all the scents.

I purchased the KYSS diffuser on 12th June and was really looking forward to using it – the scent itself is beautiful. However, within just one week, the liquid had already evaporated to half. I contacted Skandinavisk customer service straight away and was simply told to return it to John Lewis.

Unfortunately, returning it wasn’t possible as it would have leaked in transit. Since then, the entire bottle has emptied itself – all within a matter of weeks. I reached out hoping for some kind of support from the company, but none was offered beyond the initial response.

Really disappointing experience for a premium brand. As much as the fragrances are lovely, I wouldn’t purchase from Skandinavisk again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to others.

Jeg har købt duftlysene (200, 400+ g) Rosenhave, Ro og Jul i over 5 år. Voksen smelter altid ca. 2-2,5 cm rundt om vægen på overfladen og så nedad i stedet for ud mod kanten af glasbeholderen. Man skal hele tiden knække og skrabe den resterende voks af glasbeholderen for at få den til at smelte. Hvis man venter, brænder det bare nedad og til sidst slukker lyset under den smeltede voks fra kanterne, så vægen skal graves ud, for at man kan tænde det igen. Dette har ikke ændret sig gennem flere år.

Når vægen er brændt ned, er der også 0,5 cm tykt lag voks tilbage - også i de store lys med 3 væger, hvilket er et kæmpe spild. Dette har de heller ikke optimeret siden 2019.

I starten troede jeg, at firmaet og produkterne var i opstartsfasen, og man skulle give det tid, men det virker som, at de kun fokuserer på at udvikle nye produkter og dufte frem for at få den grundlæggende, tekniske del i de eksisterende produkter til at fungere.

Når et lys koster over 300 kr., forventer jeg, at virksomheden har høje kvalitetsstandarder, men de optimerer ingenting.
Køber man et lys, får man et deltidsarbejde at passe det, og man ender altid med at smide en masse ud.
Spild af ressourcer, tid og penge.

Best customer service ever received.
Package wrongly labelled by Royal mail and sent elsewhere. Solution provided within 24 hours with compensation provided too. Gained a customer for life.

Truly dreadful overpriced candle and eau de toilette. The perfume stinks like wet wipes, and the wick was brittle and faulty, meaning a large portion of the candle was unusable. The lady in customer service was patronising, blaming me for the destroyed candle when the rubbish wick wouldn't allow for a full surface burn. Plus she got my name wrong in the email thread. She refused to compensate me or send me a replacement. For a candle in that price range, more than a yankee, I expect high quality. I've had better at a fifth at the price from a supermarket. I shan't purchase again, truly useless.

Amazing brand and service! The scents offered in their range of products are so wonderful and I consider them of high quality. I have not found a brand like this before and really enjoy the aesthetic of the products as well. I am absolutely obsessed particularly with the fjord scent. Customer service are also very kind and efficient!

I have and am proud to own every product from this company. The hand cream is in my purse all year round, the home candles fills my home with wonderful scents, the shampoo and shower product are in my shower and the little roll-on Perfume go with me everywhere I travel. I cannot get over how natural this product is without being overwhelming and pungent. Seriously go out and spoil yourself now.

So happy they have a US warehouse now. I first bought their hand cream in Copenhagen and it is my favorite. I have to get some for my mom every year.

Fabulous products.
Skandinavisk products are a refreshing alternative to the same old-same old dubious source ones sold by any number of UK companies who are now jumping on the “eco” bandwagon. Two of my favourite brands have completely changed their products recently and the ingredients and materials as well as packaging aren’t acceptable to me. Whereas Skandinavisk does what it says it does.
I was looking for GENUINELY environmentally friendly and organic products and most of the companies which appear to be ethical on the surface just aren’t at all, many in fact being owned by large parent companies who really don’t live up to their claims. Skandinavisk do what they say they do, and the products speak for themselves.
The ingredients tick all my boxes and the products smell and feel amazing. There’s no artificial type smell. They smell of real ingredients and they don’t leave your skin feeling dried out. The little candles are fantastic, again none of the nasty chemical smells you get with even some of the more expensive brands.
Price-wise they’re on a par with a couple of other “clean skincare” brands so not dreadfully expensive.
During the lockdown it was possible to buy from their outlet, there were more products available in reusable bottles however you can still find these around the internet. I’ve bought directly from Skandinavisk with free delivery which took less than 2 full days to arrive. I don’t like squeeze plastic tubes in my bathroom - they look dreadful and the plastic isn’t widely recycleable in my area, so I’ve found two websites selling the body wash in the bottles as I received from the Skandinavisk “outlet” a few months ago. If there’s one reason for not buying directly again it is that.
I recommend the Oy and Hav scents in particular. However I intend to try all the scents eventually.
We are currently using three body wash bottles and two hand washes. These last ages as the quality is great (not “runny”, and they seem concentrated) The scents hang around for ages and are wonderful.
I really am not a fan of sample sachets, these seem to go against their environmental accreditation as they’re throwaway packaging with no way of disposing of them responsibly or recycling.
This is the one and only negative issue.
I can definitely see us continuing to buy Skandinavisk bath/hand products for the forseeable future.

Jeg havde købt et pakke med tre lys fra Skandinavisk, hvor der desværre var en fejl på det ene lys. Jeg kontaktede virksomheden på mail, som tog det meget seriøst og gerne ville gøre skaden god igen. Inden for mindre end tre dage modtog jeg et nyt lys, et ekstra lys samt en personlig håndskrevet beklagelse. Jeg kan, uden tvivl, sagtens finde på at købe deres produkt igen.
