Found a great deal on a Nikon-fit macro lens, ordered it quickly and arrived just as fast, definitely the place to check first for good camera gear.

A very good repair job. It took a long time for the repair to be done but that’s the same with most camera repair workshops because they’re backlogged and so busy.
The communication was reasonable and there were updates to keep me informed.
I’ll use them again in the future.

I sent my Mamiya 654 1000s for a CLA which was excellent even when dealing with an issue that occurred when I started using the camera. So yes I would recommend Skears for all your camera repairs and maintenance. Thank You

Everything went as planned, the repair was to a 1990 vintage Minolta 85mm f1.4 lens for which I am told there are no longer parts available, although Skears had a stock of some in their stores from way back!
Delighted with the service especially as this lens has sentimental value, so doubly happy!

I don't live anywhere near their shop, so called them about a used camera I was interested in. Maks, who took my call was excellent. Answered all my (many) questions clearly and honestly and promptly sent me additional photos of the item as per my requests. Once ordered, the camera arrived very promptly and exactly as described (its one minor fault had been clearly explained to me). Price was more than reasonable given that Skears had serviced the camera and give a 12-month warranty. Sure, I might have found an equivalent item sold "as seen" from a private seller for less, but for a 50 year old camera, that warranty's worth a lot.

Fantastic customer service. In a day and age where internet sales dominate this shop stands for everything that is good about retail. They were helpful, especially Maks, and the used camera I purchased is excellent. They test everything properly and explain features and offer support. I have not shopped there before but would go back in an instant.
