Need to improve customer service…

Need to improve customer service skills, as well as quality of their e-commerce website. I ordered an item online that was time-sensitive so I selected 3 day shipping option. Their website was difficult to use on mobile so I switched to iPad. For whatever reason, the shipping option defaulted to ground shipping in my email confirmation. Since I had yet to receive a tracking number, I called to see if I could stop the order, and was informed it was already submitted to the supplier (they drop ship) and that was not possible. Their solution was for me to place another expedited order for the same item, and then use my own funds to return the previous order. I was concerned about the shipping defaulting again and wanted to make sure the time frame would still work, the associate told me she would need to call me back with solution. I never got a callback, and instead received an email later in the day that my item was "out of stock" so my order would be canceled. Whatever, no big deal since I'm not out any money, but I never did get a call. Happy to do business somewhere else.

I received the best customer service at…

I received the best customer service at this awesome at this ski shop. I was actually stunned by the attention I received because it’s been so long since I have gotten that type of customer service in a retail space. The staff could not have been and more helpful or knowledgeable. I highly recommend Ski Country Sports!

Left and right shoes do not match

I have purchased a pair hiking shoes from skicountry.com. The left and right shoes do not match. I reached to customer support 3 times before it was acknowledged. After the 3rd time they said the located the misplaced shoe and said it was mailed. A week later still no tracking information about the replacement shoe only notification the the return label for the shoe they would like me to return has been printed.

Awesome Ski Shop

My review and experience is for the Charlotte location of Ski Country Sports. On my first visit I was promptly greeted, even though the lady was attending another customer. After doing some research, I ended up trusting them to mount my new Dynastar shape skis. They were familiar with the Salomon bindings I was wanting mounted, had the template, and have a full-service mechanical ski shop there. I also met Seth who is the boot fitter. He took care and time to fit me with new boot foot beds for my Lange RX boots. They have the hi-tech fitting machine there to do it right with heat forming. I can feel the difference and look forward to trying them out in a few days.

I highly recommend Ski Country Sports.

Refused to pay return shipping on a non-confirmed order

Ski Country Sports' online payment processing system keep freezing and gave me no confirmation of a transaction (except by an email, an hour later) so I gave up and ordered the item from another vendor. Then SCS they sent me the item anyways--claiming that the order had gone through on their end. When I tried to return, they refused to pay return shipping.
