The airless pump was faulty
The airless pump was faulty. I was forwarded an automated email about how to get the air out so the suction is better and it pumps smoothly. This just shows the quality of packaging is so cheap cause there are other airless pumps from different brands but this has never ever happened with the other brands and they don’t feel as cheap either.

Airless pumps can occasionally need additional priming where air becomes trapped in the mechanism, which is why our team sent troubleshooting steps to help resolve this quickly. This does not mean the packaging is cheap or low quality; airless pumps are specifically chosen to help protect the product and maintain ingredient stability.
That said, we understand it is frustrating when a pump does not work as expected. The issue affects less than 0.2% of units, so it is very uncommon, but unfortunately no packaging system can eliminate faults entirely. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue reviewing feedback to improve wherever possible.

It's been 3 months I have been using Dr…
It's been 3 months I have been using Dr V products. I started the under eye kit and have noticed slight difference under the eyes but no much. Have ordered the kit again and waiting to see better results in 6 months as has been stated but so far I am liking te other products and my skin looks soft and smooth

My skin has never looked better! I have been using the exfoliator and spf50 and absolutely love it. Only reason its 4* and not 5* is because it's quite expensive for not enough product so I am spending a fair bit of money.

I will never buy from Dr Vanita Rattan…
I will never buy from Dr Vanita Rattan again. The Super Hydrating toner is harsh on my skin, causes redness and breakouts. The toner seems to have alcohol in it. The Customer Support Team at Dr Vanita Rattan are unhelpful and cause problems. I asked to return the items and then be refunded, which was asked within 15 days of buying the products, within the return deadline date, but still The Customer Support Team are trying to not cooperate and are wasting my time. Bad business.

To clarify, once you contacted us, your refund was processed within 2 days. In the rare event of a reported reaction, our team does need to ask a few further questions so we can understand what may have triggered it, in line with our refund process. This includes checking whether the products were suitable for your skin type, how they were used, and whether anything else in the routine may have contributed. We understand that you did not want to participate in this process, but it is in place to help us review such cases fairly and safely.
We also wanted to clarify the alcohol concern. The Super Hydrating Toner does not contain drying alcohol. Some skincare ingredients are “fatty alcohols”, which are very different from denatured or drying alcohols and are used to support the texture and hydration of a formula.
We appreciate that reactions can be frustrating, as everyone’s skin is different, and we are sorry this product was not the right fit for you.

Loved the Inzincable suncream but not all products
Loved the Inzincable suncream and the face wash. Gentle on the skin. The suncream especially leaves no white cast, SPF50 and most importantly no eye sting.
The haircare products didn't really make any difference for me personally. I bought quite a few hair tonic and used regularly without any results. Therefore wouldn't recommend.
The strand strengthening oil also I have to use it the day before washing my hair because it's just like a serum and can make your hair greasy, but, lighter.
The collagen is good but pricier than average.
Most importantly the Perfecting Concealer was a huge disappointment. Genetically I have great skin. Only use concealer when I have lost sleep or stressed. Followed instructions just as mentioned on social media but found it to be caking. Price you pay is for the expensive packaging for such a small product.
Overall the products are suitable for skin of colour but, still doesn't mean suitable for everyone.

Exfoliator
I started using your Trio Blemish Face wash since this January .
My skin has improved slowly ,and still improving It is clearer,smoother,some dark spots are fading easier,less big bumpy spots than before ,and feels better .
As for the exfoliator,which I have tried ,on and off,how it is presented ,I don't like the spray,would prefer a gel ,seems I waste alot using it ,and I don't seem to see much difference,so stopped using it .

As a mineral SPF50, the finish can vary depending on skin type, amount applied, skin prep and how well it is worked into the skin. We do aim to make it as suitable as possible for Skin of Colour, but we appreciate that it may not suit everyone.

Tiny pot for £ 30+ , rip off , the box and packaging was so fancy and it went into the bin anyway , maybe a little less in boxes so you can take your prices down , would have never ordered if I knew that was the size I am getting

Only a small amount of product is needed per application, so although the pot may appear small, it is designed to last a reasonable length of time when used as directed.
We also appreciate your comments on the packaging. While presentation is important to many customers, the packaging itself is not what determines the product price, and reducing it would unfortunately not make a meaningful difference to the cost.
That said, we understand your concern and appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

I ordered the products for the first time and i was so excited. When I received the parcel some products were missing and it appeared that someone stole the products. Any i information the sales team and they were so helpful and they solved my issue so quickly and I received the missing products in no time. I'm super excited 👌 . Honest Product Explanation
I appreciate the honest explanations of the ingredients used in your products and how they suit skin of colour. I did expect the concealer samples to be bigger, (they’re the size of a penny) however there is enough for at least 1-2 weeks use. Delivery was prompt

Not happy with my purchase
I love Dr V products, especially the sunscreen, so I decided to try some of the other products in the range. Unfortunately, my experience hasn’t been great.
Since I already use retinol, I thought I would try Dr V’s version. From the start, I felt a bit skeptical when I opened it because it didn’t look quite right. The smell and texture felt off compared to what I expected.
I first tested it on my neck, and it seemed fine. However, when I applied it to my face, I had a severe reaction. I experienced a major breakout and swollen eyes, which was very concerning. I rarely get breakouts, so this reaction was unexpected and disappointing.

Although reactions are extremely uncommon, skincare tolerance can vary from person to person, even with ingredients someone has used before in another formulation. We’re sorry to hear you experienced breakouts and swelling, and we would recommend discontinuing use.
Regarding the smell and texture, some active products can have a natural scent and texture due to the ingredients used, particularly as we do not add fragrance to mask this. However, if something does not seem right, our customer support team can review this further.
Please contact us directly with your order details, photos if available, and information on how the product was used and what else was in your routine, so we can look into this properly and advise on the next steps.
