THIEFS AND THREATENING DRIVERS.

I made a booking and the driver was around the corner so the estimated time was ‘1 minute’ 10 minutes later and the driver had still not left the same position he was originally in. I cancelled the booking and before I pressed the button at the top of the screen it states that it will be a £0 cancellation fee. As soon as I clicked the button a notification came up saying I was charged £3.70?? I called skyline and they said no money was taken and called me a liar and hung up the phone!?

I called a second ride after I cancelled the last as I needed to get the train ASAP in 10 mins and the last incident made me very late. The estimated time was ‘0 minutes’ as the driver was around the corner. 5 minutes later the driver was finally here after not moving. When I got in the car I asked the driver why it took him so long as it was a 0 minute wait and it took him 6. He then turned to me gave me the dirtiest look and said ‘I was only 5 don’t say 6’ and I said it was a 0 minute wait what took you so long. And he repeated ‘I was only 5. Where are you going’ while raising his voice. I said the station. His name was Omar in a white Tovota Auris. I have his reg and will be making a complaint to Milton Keynes council to get his cab license taken away.

This is the second incident I have had with a driver being rude, shouting and making a lone female rider feel unsafe. From the first incident that happened a few months ago I still had not received my refund I was promised on both google reviews and on the phone. With email proof also. I gave this company the benefit of the doubt but I will not be using again and neither will any family or friends.

Taxi didn’t show.NORTHAMPTON. Managed to get hold of the driver who was 3/4 miles away, (obviously on another job) absolutely nowhere near us and he said the app had sent him there and to re-book. I still got charged £3-70. Disgusting.

Terrible driver, very dangerous. Driver had no idea where he was going, no GPS or directions app. He drove far too fast, not concentrating - as we were approaching a roundabout at speed we had to shout at him as he was heading straight for the bollards in the middle of the road. He ended up driving on the wrong side of the bollards, on the wrong side of the road, at high speed, before swerving left towards the exit. Very frightening. He should not be driving, let alone driving other people for a living.

- driver couldn't find the address and arrived upset (address +post code were provided)
- was listening some loud music during the trip
- didn't have navigation, when I tried to show him the destination address on my phone, he took my phone without a word and gave it back only by the end of the trip (again, without a word)

Used these for a 10 minute trip down the road and also the return journey. Got charged £25, which is fine, but on the return journey I tried paying through a link they’d sent me on my phone, that didn’t work so I paid cash and then realised a few minutes later that the online payment had actually gone through. So far they are yet to refund me.

I would give no stars if possible. Worst taxis I've used. Drivers are fine it's control who are problem. I booked evening before for hospital appointment at 8 in morning. Taxi wasn't even dispatched when I rang to ask where it was. Apparently they have 'limited taxis". Should have told me that when I booked. Won't use them again. Awful.

Got taxi from Northampton to Luton. All booked online. Driver I believe his name was Asuyumi arrived early and was friendly and professional. No stress and a comfortable journey. Would definitely use again.

What a wonderful journey after a break down knight in shining armour with the best conversational skills and built in sat nav through unexpected diversions got me home safely from Northampton to Wales what an asset to your company I can't thank you enough kastriot 2223 give the man a bonus! 🥇🏆

Tried to charge me twice for a single fair l. Absolute disgrace

Horrible company wouldn't even give them 1 star had us waiting over 40 mins not even dispatched a cab when called to find out how long until driver despatched the woman who claimed her name was Anna cancelled our booking left me 3 suitcases and a toddler stranded on the m1 service station appalling service!!!

The worst taxi service ever. Rude customer service! Used a curse word for me on the call and ended the call abruptly after making me wait an extra 30 mins after scheduled time before a driver came and later went on to overcharge me. Avoid company at all cost! Terrible, awful, despicable service.

Will not use this company ever again. Despite booking a taxi in advance to collect us from Heathrow, no taxi arrived leaving us to get two heavy suitcases home by train. Poor service, thoroughly let down.

Don’t go Alton towers, you can get your white knuckle ride in a skyline taxi… speeding, cutting corners and sharp bends … I was shaking like a leaf. The driver was rude ! No please or thank you for payment. I have never felt so unsafe in a taxi before. Our lives are in their hands. Never ever again would I use this company .

I would never recommend Skyline taxis they are unreliable. We arrived back at Birmingham airport at 1830 hrs waiting in the freezing cold for the taxi which on my app said had arrived. However the taxi eventually arrived at 2000hrs.I would never use this taxi service again

Taxi never turned up at airport as pre booked! Be careful!! Had to call and rebook and wait an hour for another!! Then charged more than quoted fare due to extra parking charges no care from HQ returning home and then late for work so after coming back to this country seems to say it all!!!

I’m 18 years old, he locked me in the taxi for 20 ish minutes while I consistently said to him I’ve paid for the taxi but he kept trying to over charge me, after 10 minutes I had to call family members for help to come get me as he locked the doors and refused to let me out the car. He kept saying he’s gonna make me pay twice for the payment even though the error was on their side. Horrible service. It was also snowing and he was driving way over the speed limit which made me feel very unsafe. Never using sky line again. I also have proof of this incident on video and will be reporting this.

Our 4-5 min trip, included a 3 min 20 sec wait charge (0-5mph) covering a distance of upto 0.27 miles. We then covered somewhere between 1.73 miles and 2.27 miles in 100 secs (it could be as little as 40-45 seconds) through 3 estate streets, 5-6 roundabouts in light traffic across MK dual roads at an average speed of between 62mph and 81.72mph+ in a Skoda, which if it weren't fake would be considered dangerous driving o).

We only know the speed range because the itinary data (possibly excluding time) was faked. The points on the map after we drove off were incorrectly placed by location and time with one missing and they even claimed the driver (inexplicably? or maybe to keep the final bill within the upper quoted amount?) ended the trip early as a courtesy as the last fake point is about 400 meters early (would be illegal to be using the phone whilst driving) and made little difference anyhow.

The driver most likely used an itinary GPS spoofing app like Lockito to create a fake itinary to append to the real one which explains our 3 min fake wait charge and higher than usual price but still within the quoted amount. It seems they push the price up from the lower quoted amount (when they know there is little or no traffic) to the higher when booking the taxi in the app so not to arouse suspicion. Also every £1 is worth a lot less to you than it is to them, especially if they're converting back to their local currencies and sending it home as remittance, hence the motive for doing it.

Pre-authorisation of visa card via app, wait time and map of route/ time stamp not being documented on receipt allows Skylines drivers to commit fraud by hacking their phones/ fares with apps like Lockito, they've already taken your money preventing you from challenging them.

Skyline conveniently no longer publishers it's charges either and enables drivers to use their own phones so they can install these apps on them and then uninstall them and blame something or someone else for the error.

This may also explain why some drivers take a long time to arrive. Ours was only a 1-2 min drive away but took 5 mins to arrive, all the GPS points appear correct at this point too. After they receive the job the car sits there for a few mins maybe because they are creating a fake itinerary after receiving the job info. The mistake the driver made was he did this on a short trip that we took regularly so we noticed the difference and queried it with Skyline who informed us about the wait charge.

I also used to work in IT and have known about spoofing including GPS Spoofing well before these unproductive opportunistic cowboys came along. You can search the internet and find this Lockito scam is being reported on Uber in Nigeria. If your fare is inflated this may be why, I've noticed a few reviews, some may have been on trip advisor that complain about this.

After Skyline refuted everything through many emails and many lies covering up other lies, as soon as I threw the statistics and calculations at them, they unsurprisingly went all quiet on me o).

Finally, I don't believe these individuals are representative of the average driver for Skyline, so most trips are uneventful. Roll on driverless taxis so we don't have to entertain these individuals at our expense any longer.

my own personal favourite driver! great sense of humour! extremely mannered! very thoughtful! and just an absolute star! if you are a party animal ask him for his playlist, he will have you hyped before any journey with multiple rave songs! LGBTQ+ friendly and is aware of mental health and will check in with you! highly recommend!

Another crap experience from Skyline.
Just when you think you can give them another try, they show that they are still as inept as they ever were.
Ordered a cab.. it never turned up.. then they complained that we missed it.. despite us standing in the cold speaking to every other Skyline car that was waiting..
still atrocious then !
Even worse.. just discovered that they siding raged me for £3.70 for the pleasure !!

They advertise as being cheaper than boro cars but quoted pruce from grovehill to redcar was £3 more expensive?
