I was fortunate enough during an extremely hard time in life to have met Brian Briggs for a consultation for my DVA claims. He was able to not only understand my situation but explain to me what it was he could assist me with, which has not only taken huge amounts of stress off me, and given me time to continue to focus on healing whilst my claims were taken care of in a way I would never be able to do by myself.
Assisting also was Hilary Briggs, who consistently provided updates and someone to talk to instead of navigating DVA dramas myself.
The work provided by Brian Briggs and the team has been flawless and proven to focus on the support of the veterans and advocating the best outcomes to assist members in need.
I cannot thank the team enough and could not recommend highly enough just how supportive and worthwhile this was for me.
To be able to be represented as a ex-serving veteran with your life and service at the forefront is highly commendable and I would recommend serving and ex-serving members to have a consultation if you need assistance.

You couldn't make a better decision than having Teegan from the team at Slater and Gordon handle your military claim. The reality of not choosing her means you'll have to navigate the process with an advocate, which brings uncertainty regarding timelines, the risk of claims getting lost in the complexities of DVA, and the possibility that you won’t receive the compensation you truly deserve.

Choosing Teegan was the complete opposite; she treated my claim as if it were her own. I received timely updates throughout the process, and having a real expert in the field meant I was fully aware of everything I was entitled to. The moral of the story is that you can't afford not to choose Slater and Gordon for your military compensation process.

Handled our case with absolute respect, we were able to gain more knowledge through slater and gordon's research of what actually went wrong. Going through Slater and Gordon I felt we did actually get out point across, our case was definitely acknowledged by the other party. Although we couldn't replace what we lost and the trauma caused I hope this outcome through Slater and Gordan helps makes a difference for others in the future.

Couldn’t fault Teni Sarris and her team at all. Nilay was incredibly kind too and always ready to answer any inquiries. Contacted Slater and Gordon after a slip and fall that required two surgeries to a badly broken ankle. I was kept informed at every stage and everything was explained to me clearly and with my best interests in mind throughout the entire process and especially during mediation and settlement negotiations. I was very happy with the outcome and the advice received. Make that call you won’t regret it, what have you got to lose?

I used Pia Annan-Anderson, military compensation lawyer, for my DVA compensation claims. Pia, Tenille and the whole team were fantastic! It was quite a long process but they did all of the heavy lifting and guided me the whole way. They cut through all of the red tape for me and made the process a breeze. Communication was great. Pia was always quick to reply to any questions or concerns that I had, and update me as soon as any new information came through about my case.

oeful and disgusting is an understatementAfter being informed by Slater & Gordon via a letter that my parents hard earned superannuation was to be part of a class action claim . I followed instructions to register as the executor of the estate . At an already very sad time in my life S&W where deplorable to deal with . Contacting anyone and receiving help even via emails was non existent most of the time . I finally got help just one time and was assured my registration was now complete and all details were correct . Over a year later I see that the case is settled and moneys to begin distribution to the claimants . I’ve had no correspondence so again I started the constant effort to try to get help and inform them my email address was changed without my knowledge.
I speak with one person who promises to help sort it ( told it should be simple to update my contact details ) after many frustrating months an actual lawyer emails me to inform me according to her my registration was never complete and there is no late registration now and the case is settled therefore she regrets to inform me I’m not part of the class action claim. What an absolute joke this so called law firm is . They have totally put me through an emotional wringer for over 2 years . They absolutely have no heart and just see it as more of a larger piece the pie for them . As if they weren’t gouging enough already! Totally disgraceful law firm who have no heart !
Will never recommend them .

After writing this I received communication from Slater & Gordon expressing they would like for ME to make contact with them regarding this matter and my complaint! Go figure they won’t respond or help me out in all that time but they are monitoring this review site to try and save face from me the many unhappy clients .
I humoured them by responding and gave them more than enough time to respond to me and offer some resolution. No surprises it was a waste of time !
My review stands , they are the crappiest law firm ever , what ever you do I implore you please do not employ them to act on your behalf . They will take your money and rip you off !

We were more than happy with our experience at a very difficult time. Nicole and her team kept us informed every step of the way. From the first meeting with Nicole and her obvious knowledge around this subject put our mind at ease. The whole team acted in an extremely professional and caring manner. If they said something would be done , it did and always within the time frame advised.The outcome was more than expected and we are so grateful for the help and compassion always shown.

I found this company to be very caring and compassionate about my situation and they were always there for me if I needed any advice.

Slater and Gordon sent an email to all Comcare claimants' today from Comcare @slatergordon com au which is a clear indication that you should not engage or trust Slater and Gordon for any matter specific to compensation. These guys are well and truly in bed with Comcare and they do not care about your insignificant claim. It is not a healthy thing when a law firm declares that a lot of cash from a reckless unlawful institution such as Comcare outweighs the your rights and entitlements. Be careful and do not trust Slater and Gordon.

The staff were easy to deal with & very compassionate. They have always treated us with respect and answered any questions we had. Special mention to Brieanna, Raelene & Amy. Brieanna was our best support & we thank her immensely.
